Mingyue puffed her cheek adorably . To change the direction of their conversation, she grabbed a small pillow and held out her palm .
Looking at the way Mingyue acted, Princess Lingchen let out a chuckle . Then she placed her wrist on her small pillow . Mingyue put three fingers on Lingchen"s wrist and closed her eyes to feel her pulse .
Her shoulder relaxed when she was sure that the Princess"s health was good . The Princess"s maidservant entered the room and presented her with the usual medicine . Mingyue watched the princess drank her medication, and then, she gave her some candied orange peel to get rid of the bitterness in her mouth .
"Captain Yang Yun won"t be returning to the training camp so soon," Princess Lingchen said . She glanced at her cousin to look at her expression .
Mingyue looked at her with her eyes wide . "What do you mean?"
Princess Lingchen took the teacup on her side table and drank a few sips to wet her throat . Then, she took a handkerchief and dabbed her mouth . Her movement was slow and graceful .
"Do you remember when I said that my parents are planning to hold a banquet and invite a few bachelors from neighboring countries?" she said, slowly .
Mingyue nodded . It was not too long ago that Princess Lingchen had told her that His Majesty thinks it"s time for the princess to get married .
"His Majesty had set a date for the banquet," The Princess spoke grimly . "It will be held in next spring . His Majesty wanted them to join the spring hunt . "
Mingyue"s looked at the princess and saw that the grim on her face has faded, and instead her lips curved into a wide smile .
"His Majesty sent General Pei to the northern border for a year . Do you know what this means?"
She knew that although both General Pei and her elder brother were both generals, the two of them did not have the same rank . General Pei might be older by a few years, but Jiang Xiao Xian ranked higher than General Pei .
Mingyue shook her head . She dare not guess His Majesty intention .
"General Jiang Xiao Xian will be in charge of the security for the guests during this banquet . He will continue to stay in the capital for preparation along with his men . It means, His Majesty would not be sending him back to the northern border anytime soon . It seems like Captain Yang Yun will be beside you until after your wedding . "
Mingyue lowered her gaze again . The tip of her ears felt hot .
Originally, Yang Yun was supposed to have a week break from camp after the wedding, and then he will return to the northern border, but it looks like he will be staying in the capital for a while longer after their ceremony . The thought of spending more time with him made her heart bloom with happiness .
