Chapter 1589 Second Prince"s Request
Grey and his friends paid their respects to the Second Prince before heading inside to meet with the Seventh Prince. Due to the Second Prince"s intelligence, Grey wanted to reduce their contact to the bare minimum. He would speak with him only when it"s absolutely necessary.
The Second Prince wanted to stop them, but seeing that they had no plans of staying, and he was also having a conversation with one of his people, he let them leave.
They soon went to the Seventh Prince"s chambers.
"When should we make a move?" Klaus asked, of the trio, he was the one who had more people under his palms. With the help of his ice ability, he released bits of ice particles into their bodies, little enough that they wouldn"t notice, but enough that when merged together, these people would die on the spot.
It would be practically impossible to figure out who did it.
Grey looked at Klaus and shook his head, "Calm down, we"re getting to the good part. If we cause mayhem too soon, they might have a way to call back the others that are there. We will enjoy our time here for now, and slowly weigh our options."
"Which are?" Reynolds asked.
"To start with the First and Second Prince, or take down the Princes beneath them first." Grey replied.
The First and Second Princes are the top guys, taking them out would practically mean their journey here is over since the Seventh Prince was the favorite after those two. If they decided to attack randomly, they would be able to slowly tear the place apart, what"s best is that as long as Grey could increase his mental energy, he didn"t even have to worry about alerting the others, he would just keep the Princes below the First and Second Prince under his control.
Getting close enough to place the Second Prince under his control would be a little difficult. He knew for a fact that unlike Necromancers, Gnomes are also very good combatants, so some of them will not necessarily bring out their puppets from the get go.
The Second Prince is too strong for Grey to attack at the moment, he might bring out his puppet, but that was under a huge probability.
There"s only one way Grey can get him to bring out his puppet and not against him, they must be fighting someone together.
Attacking the Second Prince while they were entangled with the First Prince isn"t wise, but the First Prince isn"t the only one, there"s also the Third Prince that was below the Second Prince. According to the information Grey has gathered over the days he was in this place, the Second and Third Princes seem to have a deep hatred for each other which stemmed from having feelings for the same girl. In the end the Third Prince killed the girl when he found out she wanted the Second Prince and not him.
Of course the story was covered, and is only heard in the Palace, but since Grey was under the Seventh Prince"s faction, he was privy to some secrets.
"We should take out those guys first, it will make things more fun." Klaus preferred this idea.
The same went for Reynolds and Alice. Alice didn"t really care who they attacked first, as long as the group were safe and they could grow while they were here, she was fine with whatever actions they took.
Grey smiled and looked around, the Seventh Prince, which was his puppet, was lying peacefully asleep. The others didn"t take him too seriously as they didn"t think he was any threat.
"We should go take out the Fifth Prince first, isn"t he the one we encountered when we entered that secret realm?" Klaus suggested.
"I think it"s the Fourth Prince. I"m not too sure, but it should be the Fourth." Reynolds added.
"Whichever one it is, we should set off soon." Alice wasn"t comfortable staying here, they were practically in the den of a dragon who could attack any time.
Grey didn"t have any problems with that and controlled the Seventh Prince to tell the Second Prince they would be leaving soon. According to him, he wanted to check out his kingdom, and if there was anything the Second Prince wanted, he could reach out to him.
The Second Prince was a little taken aback when he heard this. When the Seventh Prince came to him, he thought they would want to stay until they were done dealing with the First Prince, but all they did was wipe out a small fleet and they were leaving so soon.
He called Grey over before they left.
….
"I need your help to deal with my brother." The Second Prince went straight to the point.
Grey didn"t reply and stared straight at him.
"I can see that you"ve broken through, but you need help with your mental energy, it seems to have been hurt." The Second Prince took out a vial from his storage ring and pa.s.sed it to Grey, "As a token of my goodwill, take this. It will not only help heal it, but it will also strengthen it."
Grey took the vial and just taking a whiff of it calmed his head, he felt his head relax, "Which of them?"
His question made the Second Prince smile, from Grey"s question, it was clear that he would be willing to help.
"I"m not a fan of Thorson, kill him and I"ll ensure that you are rewarded greatly." The Second Prince said.
"Thorson, the Third Prince?" Grey asked.
"Yes, kill him, and you shall be rewarded." The Second Prince nodded and tossed a spatial ring to Grey, "Take this as payment upfront."
Grey took the ring and kept it, not even looking at its contents, "You"ll receive news within the month."
"Haha, good good. I knew you were the right person for this." The eyes of the Second Prince were filled with killing intent as he laughed, "I"ve been waiting to kill him for a few years now, waiting for a month isn"t too bad."
"Not a month, within the month." Grey corrected him. He wanted him to know that he didn"t need a month to kill the Third Prince. Actually, a month was too long, within that month, he would"ve killed them all bar the Second and First Prince.
He wouldn"t technically kill them, but placing them under his control meant that they were as good as dead since they wouldn"t be able to resist.
The Third Prince"s kingdom was close to the Seventh Prince"s kingdom, so killing him would be a piece of cake.
Grey wanted to kill the rest within this month, and with the help of his friends, he knew he would be able to achieve this.
He left with the Seventh Prince. The Seventh Prince has stopped taking an entourage with him since he had Grey and his friends, even his right hand man has been discarded. Grey sent him on another mission and he didn"t even bother about him for the time being.
….
Outside the Second Prince"s kingdom.
"What did he want?" Alice asked.
"To kill the Third Prince, he even paid." Grey laughed and tossed a ring at her.
She looked at the contents and nodded, "Not bad. Getting paid for doing something we originally wanted to do."
"That"s a good deal, I must say."
"It"s finally time for us to show our skill." Klaus laughed.
"Yes, first off we"ll kill the Fourth and Fifth Prince on the way." Grey said.
"Haha, I"ve always wanted to kill that guy. Whichever one it is, let me be the one to handle him." Klaus said.
"No problem."
The group joked about as they flew through the sky. Even though they were alone, Grey made sure it was impossible for anyone below the Mid stages of the Sovereign Plane to hear them.
While they were flying, Grey looked at Reynolds who nodded and then disappeared with a flash of lightning.
He appeared once again with a person in his grasp, a Gnome actually.
"You must be from the Second Prince?" Grey looked at him with cold eyes.
The man nodded, scared for his life. He was only in the First stage of the Sovereign Plane. Against anyone else he would be confident, but the fact that they sensed him told him that they could kill him with ease. Even when Reynolds ambushed him, he was unable to even resist.
"Since when did Necromancers become this scary?"
This was the only question in his head, he couldn"t believe a human would be stronger than he is even when they were in the same cultivation stage.
"Tell him we"ve received his message." Grey said, he looked at the man coldly and said, if he sends another person, they will die without a corspe.
The man nodded in fear and ran away with his tail between his legs. He was scared for his life, and rightly so.
