Akila"s clothes were torn and dirty. She was shackled and was being dragged on the ground. She recognized the area around her, she was in the dungeon. She struggled to pull away, but the guards that had hold of her chains only tightened their grip. Akila winced in pain as the stone rubbed against her wounds. They had stopped in front of the nearest cell. Akila lifted her head and looked inside. She saw Charles sleeping on the ground. The guard in front of the door took out his keys and unlocked the door. They threw Akila on the ground and kicked her in the stomach. She gasped and crawled to a corner. The guards laughed and locked the door again. Akila started sobbing. She never thought that when she returned here, she wouldn"t be a prisoner.

He sat up and looked around. He saw Akila in the corner, crying. He immediately crawled over to her and sat in front of her. Akila looked up and hugged him. Charles was surprised. He slowly wrapped his arms around her.
"Akila... what did they do to you?" Charles said. He looked over her body and saw cuts and marks.
"T-they hurt me, and they... they did it again," Akila said still crying.
Charles brushed his fingers through her hair. He didn"t care about his own life anymore, he only cared about hers. His pain no longer affected him, it was covered by anger. He placed a kiss on her forehead and laid his head on hers. Akila felt safer in the comfort of his arms. She moved her own arms and felt the absence of his wings. She realized that Charles truly did love her. He sacrificed himself for her and didn"t care that he was hurt, but cared if she was. She hugged him tighter and placed her head on his chest. She closed her eyes and sat there.
"So precious. Too bad that won"t last for long," said Josiah standing outside the cell. Charles lifted his head and saw Josiah leaning against the wall. He let go of Akila and stood up. In his eyes was a fury that he had never shown before. He ran to the cell bars as far as he could.
"You little s.h.i.t! Why the h.e.l.l did you have to bring her here? I said I would kill you if you ever did! You G.o.dd.a.m.n b.a.s.t.a.r.d!" Charles yelled at him.
"Silence! Remember, I can choose if you live or die. So I would watch your mouth," He yelled back. He motioned for a guard to come and open the door. The guard opened the door and grabbed Charles. He struggled to escape his grasp. Josiah walked in and to Akila. He grabbed her arm and pulled her up. He slammed her against the wall. Akila whimpered. "Not so brave anymore are we Akila." He said to her. He brought his hand up her skirt but stopped. " I"ll leave you to the guards. They really need to have a fun time," Josiah said removing his hand. He still had hold of her arm as he let her to the ground. He started pulling her behind him and out of the cell. "Shall we resume where we left off last time, and I"ll let your little boyfriend watch."
"No! Leave her alone!" Charles yelled. The guard holding him started following Josiah, Charles still in his grasp. The guard unlocked the chain connecting Charles to the floor. He followed Josiah out of the dungeon and through an a.s.sortment of tunnels.
