Reinhard was under the shower, warm water flowing from it completely drenching his body. His mind wandered to the girl that he had hugged in the bar. But every time he remembered that scene a harsh voice saying, "You remember she is somebody else"s lover. Don"t you?" would always bring him in reality. He remembered her pet.i.te figure against his body and her enchanting smell but the a.s.sumption that he had made on Alyssa, always come as a barrier between his actual feelings and what he should feel.Reinhard rubbed his body harshly in the shower. He wanted to eliminate even the slightest bit of her remains. "I feel sick because of her. she disgusts me." Reinhard murmured again reminding himself what he should feel. But somewhere deep down in his heart which was still blurry in front of him, he knew that his actual feeling is the complete opposite of the feelings he tried to feel.
He came out of the shower with a single piece of a towel wrapped around his well-defined hips. He walked towards his closet flexing his 12 pack abs with every move. He took another towel from the closet drying his still wet hair with beads of water rolling down from his hair and vanis.h.i.+ng at the rim of his towel, portraying a bewitching and seductive scene. He walked to his bed when he suddenly thought of someone. Someone who lives in Coral Bells and had once hacked his company"s bank account. He decided to find him. He took out his mobile phone and typed a message, "Are you there?"
He knew that the other person will not respond to this so he typed an encrypted message which can catch that person"s attention as well as he can get to know the level of his computer expertise.
Alyssa"s phone pinged but she was dead asleep in her bed completely unaware that somebody will have a hard time sleeping because of her.
Sunlight filtered from the leaves of the cherry blossom tree which was there near Alyssa"s bedroom window casting a beautiful glow on her face. Alyssa wrinkled her brows when she felt bright light on her. she groaned and slightly opened her left eye in a slit. She blinked her eyes when she looked around her. "What is she doing in her room?" she thought. Of course, everybody sleeps in their own room but when you have no memory of how you got in your own house, that moment seems scary. Alyssa crinkled her eyebrows in deep thought rewinding everything that had happened the previous day in order. She tried very hard to remember but her memory always blurs after drinking a few gla.s.ses of alcohol. Alyssa groaned once again remembering her stupidity. She had agreed to drink only one gla.s.s but she ended up drinking G.o.d knows how many gla.s.ses.
Alyssa got up from her bed and headed towards her attached washroom to get freshen up. While she was brus.h.i.+ng her teeth, a blurry image of Reinhard pa.s.sed through her mind. "Was that douche bag also present there?" she thought confused. Alyssa had a photographic memory so it was only a matter of time before she can remember everything. While she was brus.h.i.+ng, memories of the previous night flooded her brains stunning her in the process. She stood in front of the mirror in a daze. "Did I really hugged him?" after questioning herself, she answered, "of course I did. Oh my G.o.d! What should I do? I hugged him. Since when did I become so proactive. Oh my G.o.d! Oh my G.o.d!" Alyssa was in hysteria. She couldn"t believe what she had done. She wanted to dig a hole and remain there for the rest of her life.
As the memory cleared, she also remembered Reinhard pus.h.i.+ng her, she felt even more embarra.s.sed. Imagine a scene where you hugged someone and the person pushed you away, exactly, that humiliation and embarra.s.sment would reach another level.
Alyssa searched for her mobile phone to call Dianna to tell her about what she did. She knew that unlike her, Dianna will have no memory of the previous night. She unlocked her phone and saw an encrypted message written in it. Her desire to decrypt the message took over her desire to call Dianna. She sat on her chair and started decrypting the message. After thirty minutes into it, Alyssa successfully decrypted the message,
"If you are reading this message that means you have surpa.s.sed level 7. Congratulations!"
Alyssa read the message and instantly became happy. Her hard work had paid off.
Unlike the human world, there were ten levels in computer knowledge and hacking. As the knowledge and dedication towards it increases, the level also rises.
A level 1 pract.i.tioner knows only the basics of computer knowledge but a level 5 pract.i.tioner can do hacking, just like Alyssa when she hacked the security system of Roosevelt corporation. As the training in this field increases, the clarity increases. With an increase in clarity, understanding increases which leads to an increase in the level. But it was not so easy to advance in the levels. People generally take 8-10 years to advance from one level to another. Reaching level 8 in just a few months, Alyssa had achieved an impossible feat.
A level 9 pract.i.tioner can gauge the intention of the person to which he had sent his encrypted message. But if the receiver"s intention is evil, he will never be able to decrypt the message, but the intension of a person can be adjusted and remodeled, and the message can be decrypted.
A level 10 can be considered a G.o.d in this field. He can very clearly can see the receiver"s intension through his message and he can also sense the intension of the message that he had received. He can even decrypt and encrypt messages with his mind.
Alyssa excitedly encrypted a message and send it. She knew that the person on the other side is in the level much higher than her and he can easily decrypt her message, but even that thought couldn"t dampen her enthusiasm. Alyssa even forgot about her embarra.s.sment and began preparing for the ball she had to attend in the evening.
