"Empress you mind getting them to come back here when they arrive. I need to respond to these messages." Gray had received a few messages just asking for breeding advice. Most just had simple questions about Pokemon moods and behavior problems. Each was relatively easy to deal with."Ok!" Empress said in a salute. She walked off into the hut. She decided to just wait inside. This would give Midnight the chance he was waiting for. "I hope this gets Gray to relax. He is to wound up for fusion to work successfully.
While Gray went to work responding to the messages he started to relax more and more. His aura energy and physic energy started to resonate around him. Midnight walked up and sat on his lap. He growled to get Gray"s attention. "Gr, Grr." Looking down Gray stared at the little Pokemon"s eyes.
"Hey, Gray. Longtime no.." Misty said coming to the back first. In her hands, the baby Suicune had gotten a little bigger. Followed behind her were Sabrina and Jacob. Empress walked by and pa.s.sed them up to Gray. She sat down and started to meditate. Floating in the air she allowed her energy to encompa.s.s Gray and Midnight.
"What are they doing?" Misty asked in wonder.
"It is Poke Fusion. But with a Median." Sabrina said watching. Her Espeon and Ori disguised as another Espeon walked in front of her. "What is a Median? I can tell that is what you wish to ask Misty. So I will explain it to you. Hopefully, Gray can hear it as well in his state. A median is when another Pokemon is used in the fusion process as the power supply. The other pokemon is used as the base. Doing fusion this way allows for longer fusion times as well as less strain on those involved. Battle experience is shared equally between the party involved."
"What is the downside?" Misty said. She thought this was too good to be true.
"None really. Trainer"s who don"t have a good cooperation with pokemon cannot even last a minute in this state. Gender, Mood, Species and Type play a big role as well." Sabrina then looks to the Pokemon by her. Ori turned into a pink light and went inside of her. Sabrina"s eyes glowed with raw physic energy. "Poke Fusion," she said calmly. Espeon jumped towards them as they fused.
The fusion of the three floated in the air with no effort. A pink humanoid floated before them. The tails moved about like whips cracking in the air. Full set of hands like a human. Just a light pink color floating around. The eyes remained like a human. Over the chest area, a dark furry bodice was in place.
"Woah. That"s Poke Fusion with a Median." Misty said breathlessly. "I thought I became stronger. in the dungeon. But Gray is still ahead in certain matters." Her hand tightened around the Suicune. "Ah, I just remembered something. I have to go. Tell Gray I will see him tomorrow." Misty turned and left with her head down.
"Ah, compet.i.tion. It is healthy but bad for friendships." Jacob said smiling. Waving Sabrina goodbye he left. "I will see you all tomorrow hopefully."
"Ori what is this energy I am feeling?" Sabrina asked telepathically.
"They have a high synchro." Ori mused. "What you are feeling is the effects of him being in heat. Made even more so considering the state you are in. You are also influencing your Espeon as well. I suggest you calm yourself."
"In heat. What is he a beast?" Sabrina asked wrly. "Why didnt it affect me last time. You know. In the forest."
"He was not in a beast form. He was a Dragon or I guess you can say a Bird type then. Right now he is just a beast type. The canine that blessed him must have been pretty old. You should most likely leave. This may get... embarra.s.sing for you."
"Eh.. embarra.s.sing how exactly?" At that, Sabrina saw Gray and his pokemon fused.
Empress flew to Gray"s head in a black light. Midnight jumped at his chest. Standing up the fusion of the trio was complete quite fast.
The golden ovals that an Umbreon had were at the humanoids top hand and at his feet. The tail was very long and kept moving. It didnt snap as Sabrina"s did. But looking to close after a few seconds after images kept forming. Gray opened his eyes and flexed his clawed hands. With a strut of his feet, he realized he had complete control. He looked over to Sabrina and sniffed the air for a second. Not an enemy his instincts told him. Hearing heavy breathing he looked around. It was coming from the forest. "How the h.e.l.l did I hear that?" Reaching behind he touches his ear. He felt they were missing. Touching atop his head calmed him down. "These feel like bunny ears." The long ears did look weird on a humanoid. With a twitch of aura power, the ears receded some. Gray immediately felt a slight strain weaken on his body. "Hey. You mind telling me what all happened?" Noticing her daze look he walked up to her. "Hey! Sabrina. What the h.e.l.l?!" Feeling it would be dangerous to touch her, he stepped back. Jumping into the air he floated around getting use to the form.
(Fusion successful. Warning Midnight body is still damaged. Recommend to bathe in the moonlight to help heal him.)
"Well makes sense. Scyther. I am going up to help Midknight heal faster. Keep everyone safe until I get back." Seeing her nod Gray went straight up. "This is a lot slower than my other form flying. But I think it is faster on the ground."
Sabrina finally snapped out of it. "Eh, what the h.e.l.l? Where did he go?" Looking around she saw the Scyther point up. "Ori, what just happened?"
"How to say this without sounding cruel?" Ori thought amused.
"Tch, I am not a baby. Just go ahead and say it!" Sabrina thought ticked off. Her tail moved in the air making sonic noise.
"Ok. Jeez, calm yourself. You are inexperienced in human relations. The time you spent undercover in Team Rocket messed your head up. Taking into the account of the time you spent in that Mystery Dungeon your head is all kinds of messed up. Not to worry, that is why I am here. There is also a strong bond between you and your Pokemon. Made even stronger after the death of your Alakazam." At the mention of that death, Sabrina felt her knees wobble. In a split second, she calmed down again. Remembering her training she only lossed a few seconds of time.
This did not escape the eyes of Ori. After spending a few days with the human she was accustomed to her moods.
"In this fusion, what is different than normal?" Ori paused letting it sink in. I boost all of your abilities. As well as Espeon... You have your heart closed off. Espeon does as well mimicking you in that area. Neither of you have mated before. Or have much experience with the other s.e.x. Combining that with his primal scent you might end up hurting yourself." feeling mischievous Ori threw something else her way. "Oh fair Maiden. You need to experience more. Not just tragedy."
"What should I do?"
"Stop resisting. Live a little. Break a leg so to speak. Forget about the Pokemon League. Forget about Lance and the others. Live for yourself and not duty anymore. Just learn to express yourself more. It will only hurt for a little while."
"Origin is right Mistress. Besides.. he was looking for a sparring partner. Let us fight him. I believe it will help you and myself." Espeon transmitted.
"Are you sure?" Sabrina could not help but ask to confirm.
"Yes. I do not like the look of his Umbreon in the first place. How dare he have that beautiful scent. That shiny coat and that beautiful scar on his head. Who does he think he is ignoring me!" Espeon transmitted lividly.
Both Sabrina and Ori thought they heard wrong. If they didnt know any better they would think she was mad that the other Umbreon ignored her. But that couldn"t be it.
"Umm, I dont think that"s what is going on Espeon." Sabrina thought.
"She cant hear you. I think the smell has her in a mating rage. She might just beat the tar out of Gray"s Umbreon if you are not careful."
"That reminds me. How are we going to fight him anyway? The level gap between us is too large. What are we gonna do about that?" Sabrina thought as she searched the skies. Finding his location she blasted off in pursuit. It would take just a minute to reach him.
"It is a spar. It doesn"t matter about the level differences. Just dont try to cripple him and everything should be fine." Ori thought slightly amused. "Are you scared to hurt him? Is that it?"
"What no! Just dont want to create another misunderstanding! He is my first friend you know!" Sabrina thought fl.u.s.tered.
"Of course, I understand." Ori transmitted back to her. Thinking directly to herself she wondered. "Let"s just see if you two can come to terms with the difficulties of life. Friendship is a battle the same as everything else in life. Unlike yourself, Gray has experienced all the things life can throw your way."
Arriving in the sky through the clouds. Sabrina was shocked at what she saw. Gray was just floating in his fused form using the move Moonlight on himself. The physic energy in the air was abundant. But a strange lack of aura energy for some reason.
Wanting to battle was the furthest thing from her mind now. She just stared in awe at the picture before her. Looking up she saw two pokemon. A Latios and Latias pa.s.sing overhead. Both Pokemon kept circling around Gray. Never approaching just gliding about.
"What a rare occurrence. Sabrina, it would be best if you wait to battle him later. Just meditate for now and be ready."
"Umm, ok. But why?" Sabrina thought as she started to meditate feeling the physic energy wash over her. The more it did the less strain she felt on herself.
"This is the blessing of the lovers, of the friends, and of the partners. Receiving any of the three is good for you. I am surprised they choose him though. I wonder why?" Ori felt Sabrina"s heartbeat start to skyrocket. Ignoring her chance to talk to the other two pokemon she decided to help the one she chooses.
as the Night dragged on both Sabrina and Gray fell asleep. The fusions came apart. As each of the five floated in the air Latios and Latias floated to Ori.
"h.e.l.lo, Auntie!" Latios said excitedly. "Glad to see you. We would stay and chat be we have to go now." Latios took off disappearing in the instance.
"Do forgive him, Auntie. He is still excitable as always. Even more so since this man arrival." Latias said coldly. "I do not wish to chat any more than I have to. We will be watching him carefully. Do keep him safe."
"Oh, do you doubt my strength." Ori said menacingly. "Never forget I was an original. Unlike you and your brother. I could break you with a blink of one of my eyes." The physic energy washed out of Origin like a Tsunami.
"It is good you still have some strength. Goodbye, for now, Auntie." Latias said taking the threat to heart. Shooting off she went to catch her brother.
"Youngsters are always so impressionable." Ori thought to herself. looking at the others she waved her tail transporting them all back to the ground. Using her physic energy she moved them into the rooms. They would all have weird dreams tonight.
Inside the room. Gray slept quite peacefully. Midnight remained at the foot of the bed snoozing away. Scyther opted to sleep outside tonight. She wanted to take in the night air.
Pyron didn"t sleep tonight. He was too energized. He went out for some night hunting. He was determined to become stronger. For some reason, he got it in his head that he was the reason the fusion didnt work between him and Gray. "I will become the strongest Pokemon ever. Just you wait for me dood!" Looking back at the hut down below. Pyron flew higher into the sky.
Growlithe slept in a corner. He was quite troubled. When Gray worked on the Caterpie he did not go far. With his eyesight, he had jumped in a tree and watched as everything unfolded. "This human is weird. He still smells like a pokemon though. Could he really be one of us. Just in disguise." Growlithe thoughts continued to plague him.
Empress did not sleep well that night as well. She was in a adult human form. Not just a partial change or a half shift. But full-on Human. She stood in front of a pool staring down below. The moon symbol in her forehead changed through countless cycles. Smiling down she watched as pokemon and trainers played about. Not too far behind her, a man in black stared. He was a silent guardian. If anyone made a move he would defend her with his life. The pool below became murky. In an instant, it was gone. Empress turned to look at her defender. She wanted to scream when she saw he was turned to stone. Running over she watched in horror as he crumbled.
"Ah!" She woke in a fright shaking like a leaf.
The other Pokemon woke in the room. They watched to see if anything was wrong. Gray turned over sitting up instantly when he heard the shout. "Hey you ok?" he asked her timidly. "What the h.e.l.l were you dreaming about?"
Empress looked around. Once her big eyes registered the room she calmed a little. Her physic energy started to die down. Seeing Gray next to her so worried she started to cry. Grabbing ahold of her, Gray didnt know what was going on. But he tried his best to soothe her nerves.
"Promise me. That no matter what, you won"t abandon me. We will be partners forever. Promise me!"
"Easy now. I promise. You have to tell me what this is about."
"No matter what you learn. Or who comes around. We will always be partners." Empress continued to cry out.
"I promise." Gray tried to use his physic abilities to speak to her mentally. It didnt work. She was too scared. "What the h.e.l.l is going on? Did she have a nightmare because of Jacobs story?"
(Poke Fusion Mastered Physic and Dark Type.)
"The h.e.l.l. Maybe I am just dreaming all of this." Shaking his head Gray focused on his Pokemon. Everyone seemed calm.
"Calm down now. Everything is ok. Dont you worry." As Gray hugged her and rubbed her back he channeled his aura. "Just relax everything will be fine." 20 minutes later she fell asleep in his arms. One by one so did the rest of the Pokemon. Midnight had moved up to the top of the bed now. He placed his head on Gray"s thigh. Back against the headboard, he fell asleep last. He couldn"t wait for tomorrow. He would train and have some fun. What more could a man ask for?
