"Whew!" Lily exhaled thinking her self safe . Before she could take that breather a black crescent shot out towards her . "Protect!" She yelled as a small membrane appeared in front to intercept the attack .

"Boom!" A small explosion went covering the area in dust . "Fwoosh," A body came out the backside . It was Lily! The Protect was not able to finish or it just failed .

"Oof!" Lily grunted hitting the side . She was already standing as quickly as she could . "Got to get up! Got to move!" She turned to see Gray had jumped back and was looking at her . The glint in his eyes caused her body to heat up . "Dont pity me!"

She backed away obscuring herself from Gray and the copies sight . "Recover!" Taking a knee aura energy wrapped around healing her . "How am I getting stronger?!"

On the side of the curtain Gray had jumped back . He looked up and raised his hands and pulled in the sunlight . Opening his mouth wide as the power of fire washed out . With a jump he went into the air .

Arching down his fire type came out fully . "Sizzle," all across the stadium water droplets turned to steam and melted . The fans kicked on taking away the chemicals before they became harmlful .

"Flame Thrower!" Meeting water with fire the crowd watched as the blast water was pushed back to the surface . In the water Lily could be seen . She ducked underneath right as she felt her attack was losing . "Smart and fast . "

All the way to the bottom of the pool Gray traveled . He stopped right at the bottom and let the fire AMD dark energy push the water away .

The amount aura energy released kept a good bit of it floating around them .

"This . . . is power . " Lily said as she was now exposed and couldnt hide until the water came back down . "I wont lose!"

With a jump forward he pounced onto her biting down on her shoulder . To everyone it looked as though he used Crunch . When in fact Growlithe was marking her and pa.s.sing a blessing onto her .

"Ahh," Lily let a moaned then fainted . Catching her Gray shot up into the air right as the pushed away water came back down .

"Thussh," the water collapsed in on itself shaking the stadium .

"Tap," Gray landed by the other two and sat Liky down .

"The winner . . Gray and Growlithe!" Daisy said recovering . Violet hurriedly checked over her sister and was shocked to see she was fine . "Is she ok?" Daisy asked .

"Yeah! Her wounds are healing already . " Violet looked at Gray shocked . "Thank you . "

"Thank my partner here . " Gray said as he broke the fusion . "It was his battle mostly anyway . "

"Well thank you Growlithe . " Violet said . Daisy gave the Pokemon a warm smile as she gave him a pat on the head . "We should get her to a nurse to make sure . "

"That can wait till later . " Lily sat up and looked at Gray . She gave him a nod then looked at Growlithe . "Thank you for the battle . Rematch when you get stronger . I guarantee I will be to . "

"Ruff!" Yes! Growlithe responded happily . On instinct he went forward and licked her face .

"Ok enough of that . You are not in private . " Gray was about to grab him by the neck but used the Expokeball instead . Once returned he looked at Lily"s expression . "Hah, once he has his human form I will bring him back her post haste . . to talk . "

"Bring back Empress to!" Violet said with stars in her eyes . "Pretty please!"

"I am the same as Gray . " Chroma said plainly . Her eyes looking over to June and her position . "Planning on staying there all night?"

"Of course not!" June said before getting up . She looked to the Pokemon and saw them just smile as the continued to eat there food . "That is not a bad idea . " Releasing her Pokemon she then pulled out some meals as well .
