Within the bottom-most floor of the Hall of Governance, the scene here was no different from that of a prison. Many cells were sealed off with metallic walls, each having a small digital screen by which one could observe the details on its interior.Currently, one of the rooms was under watch by a s.h.i.+fty-looking guard that sat before a computer screen with a cap shrouding his features. There were a few other guards that stood around him, but if one looked closely, they would soon realize that the looks on their faces were dull.
The guard smiled as he pressed a b.u.t.ton, causing a notification to sound in the observation room, "Opening Cell Number B302!"
Following this, the guard then left the room and headed towards the area of the prison cells. A few other watchmen were currently standing at its outside, but as they saw the door opened their faces filled with shock.
"What the h.e.l.l? Who opened the door?" One of the watchmen shouted in alarm.
The other didn"t say anything; his eyes narrowed as he gripped his gun and glanced at the man who spoke before nodding.
The other watchmen understood, he similarly hoisted his gun before they cautiously made their way towards the room. However, the moment they entered, the two noticed a strange scene.
Here, the bodies of the previously cloaked individuals from the Anti Human Alliance was changed beyond recognition. They seemed as if they were nothing more than skin as if all their insides had somehow removed its exterior like a piece of cloth before leaving.
"Not good!" Both watchmen exclaimed, they each had an abundance of experience and knew full well what this scene meant.
The two prepared to turn around, but right at this moment, the sounds of flesh being pierced through sounded in this cell as a large red arm, and a thin red arm with sharp gleaming claws pierced each guard separately.
As the blood flowed from their chest, splas.h.i.+ng onto the ground, the guards fidgeted for a moment, as their life soon faded from their eyes, peris.h.i.+ng with the arms still inside their bodies. The two ent.i.ties then tossed the bodies onto the ground, as their figures were now revealed.
They were both angular sharped creatures with red all over their body, one being of a thick build and the other more slender. Looking at their faces, one would see a small metallic mask with a sharp triangular design as behind it was a similar face with two sinister-looking eyes.
The two after killing the men didn"t say anything but left the room immediately after, but as they did this, they both saw the guard that wore cap standing outside as if waiting for them.
The guard glanced at them and spoke in a commanding tone, "Return to the base, the Master is ready, and from now we will be taking things into our hands. I"ll hand the rest of this clean-up..."
"Yes, High Elder!" The two said with a polite bow before they turned into blurs and vanished from this sector.
The High Elder glanced at the direction they left before he smirked and lifted his hand to the right causing it to bulge as it became filled with muscles.
"Huhu... now then, I"ve already erased those that should be removed," When the High Elder said this, he glanced at the room that sealed Vawn Cramerton and Manager Paulson as a pool of blood was flowing from it.
He then glanced at the ceiling up above and smirked as he spoke once more, "All that"s left is to give you guys a show."
Following his words, the High Elder struck his fist onto the ceiling, creating a shocking boom, a tremor ran throughout the entire Hall of Governance, as a ma.s.sive crack appeared from the base level towards the mid-level.
The High Elder then jumped from the base level towards the mid-level in one go and began to destroy anything in his path, as if he were trying to get someone"s attention.
When the first attack had made the giant crack towards the base floor, the entire Hall of Governance had sounded off an emergency alarm. Milon, who was speaking with Vernisa, looked at the scene in surprise.
He promptly pressed a b.u.t.ton and shouted a command, "Everyone to your defenses!"
The Evolvers of the building promptly began to act by sealing off all parts of the building. Vernisa was also a bit surprised, but as she saw a screen showing the details of what occurred, her face sunk, "Darn, so there were three of those Body s.h.i.+fters in here, we can"t let them get away!"
Milon also nodded, he glanced at the two that were escaping from underground, as if they were tunneling a path towards somewhere, before he s.h.i.+fted his eyes to the bold High Elder, who was charging upwards as if he owned the building.
"I"ll take care of him, you"ll have to try and stop the others from escaping," Milon said, a.s.sessing the situation, he wasn"t that good in speed, and his eyes weren"t as good as finding others.
Vernisa nodded as she hurriedly left the room like blurry shade, her voice sounded behind her, "Leave it to me!"
At this time, Milon looked at the direction that the High Elder was ascending; his eyes shone in a cold ray as his body vanished. Moments later, he had arrived within a garden at the top of the building. Milon stared before him in silence, as not long after the ground exploded, sending chunks of dirt and dust everywhere.
Soon, the dust began to clear due to the night winds, as the High Elder still garbed in his guard uniform slowly made an appearance from the clouded scene. He glanced at Milon and smirked as he spoke, "Milon Morison... I"ve always wanted to meet that human at the head of all others, quite frankly, I don"t see what makes you so thick. Huhu... do, please enlighten this elder of your skills."
Milon at this moment seemed different; his hair rose upward as his body erupted with cl.u.s.ters of blazing fires that shrouded the entirety of the roof. With no ice dome to seal him off or even suppress his power, his might now seem to be of an entirely different standard.
The High Elder looked at this with evil glowing eyes, as his body began to wriggle as if he was taking off his skin, his frame growing more abundant forming into a three-meter large silhouette of angular design.
With a cruel smirk at the corner of his large mouth, he spoke once more, beckoning the start of their battle, "Huhu... now, this interesting, come, let me see the limits of your genetic evolution, human!"
With his shout, his body erupted with terrifying power, one that clashed with Milon"s blazing flames as it created a series of startling explosions at the summits of the Hall of Governance.

Back within the apartment building, Joe, Rick, Breya, and Emilia, who were previously watching the reports of the Cramerton estate explosion, had now s.h.i.+fted their eyes towards the windows.
They noticed that a series of startling lights were colliding back and forth at the summits of the distant Hall of Governance. They each had strange looks as they spoke to each other.
"Well! It seems that you were right, they did make an appearance, the destruction of that family, in this case, was none other than a diversion..." Rick said as his eyes showed a sharp look.
Breya nodded as she spoke, "Indeed, but even so, the Cramertons had far more benefits to all sides, even those who aren"t humans, so rather than destroying them. I believe that they were more or likely trying to create that impression; the true core would have most likely been taken away."
"Hmm? Sister Breya, why do you say this?" Emilia asked with a hint of confusion on her face.
Rick and Joe also looked over, Breya looked at everyone and replied, "It"s simple, it"s because after going through all the information on those chips, I"ve found out quite a few interesting bits, as well as just how this world actually came to be in its current state."
"What?" Everyone exclaimed in surprise.
"There was actually that much information, incredible!" Joe said with flas.h.i.+ng eyes.
Rick also spoke, "Quickly tell us; I want to see how it differs from ours."
Joe and Emilia also showed curious looks, Breya was about to say something, but right at this time, the door opened, and Evan and Layla walked into the room.
Everyone turned to look at them, but he smirked and spoke, "Don"t mind us, do continue, we"ll listen in from the side..."
Joe, Layla, and Rick made awkward looks before focusing on Breya once more, who began to share a secret that had been shrouded to most in this world.
