At one of the brief stops during the drive, Gao Yifeng sent a quick text to the phone of the security head letting him know that they will not be pa.s.sing the front entrance, but the back entrance to Zhang Corporation in readiness for a big press conference ahead, ending it on that note. The phone of the other man beeped with the message from Zhang Tianyu"s aide, flas.h.i.+ng across his screen, immediately after seeing the message the man placed a call to the other bodyguard in charge at Zhang Corporation, letting him know to beef up the security at the back entrance for the arrival of President Zhang.
"We are only less than four minutes from you, be on the lookout for any suspicious activities! Gather as many of you as possible and be stationed by the back door! I repeat, make sure n.o.body"s lurking around when we drive in from the back! "
"Yes Sir! Do you want us to do anything else? The regular company guards are holding off the press at the front."
"That will be all, just make sure that no one spots President Zhang or gets close to him as he comes into the company. I"m aware and so is President Zhang and his driver, just do as I tell you. No Slip ups, okay?!"
"Yes Sir! Yes Sir!..."
The other man didn"t get to keep talking as the chief bodyguard of Zhang Tianyu abruptly cut off the phone that was in the usual hands free position by the dashboard. The car conveying the President of Zhang Corporation drove behind the dark car of the chief bodyguard as usual, while the rest of the security team under President Zhang drove behind him.
Just as predicted by the chief bodyguard of their arrival, parking side by side in the parking s.p.a.ce of the back entrance, whose surroundings had bright white light s.h.i.+nning through translucent orbs as though antic.i.p.ating the coming of President Zhang.
Springing out of the car along with the rest of his team, the chief bodyguard dashed across to the car of President Zhang, he and his men formed a protective s.h.i.+eld around him, while looking from all angles as they walked towards the entrance where close to twenty men dressed similarly in corporate black suit and had a white corded earpiece where they could communicate with one another.
"President Zhang! Please can we have a word with you?!"
The voices came from a small group of reporters who previously sat hidden in their personal cars, they took a chance by keeping watch at the back entrance, when they saw a fresh set of bodyguards, their instincts told them it was probably because the President of Zhang Corporation was going to be driving by soon and sure enough, they saw him get out of his car to be led towards the other bodyguards that formed a tight barricade by the entrance of Zhang Corporation.
"S%^&...Run! The reporters are here already!"
The chief guard spoke to no one in particular, as he and his men part pushed, part carried President Zhang all the way into the building, leaving the rest of the bodyguards to fence off the reporters from coming at Zhang Tianyu. It was brief but the chief bodyguard gave the other guard heading the security details at the entrance a dirty look, the other man knew what it meant, a pay cut and promise of several fists to the face.
It was already late in the afternoon, employees of Zhang Corporation at their desk began to put finis.h.i.+ng touches to their work before calling it a day. Not taking the elevator straight to his office, instead he stopped at the floor where the public relations support team was located on the same floor as marketing support team.
Making a left where the office of the PR support team was located, when the elevator doors opened to let Zhang Tianyu, Gao Yifeng, the chief bodyguard and the three men that rode in the same car with him.
Briskly all five walked into the office with Gao Yifeng opening the door ahead of time to let in President Zhang and the bodyguards, lastly entering with the door closing firmly behind.
The office was an ultra modern type with a decor of a color mix of deep gray and brown. When the staff of ten saw that it was their company President walking in, they all rose to their feet curtsying in greeting, they remained that way until he went in the direction that led to the office of the PR support team manager, Mao Kequiang.

Director Ko was buzzed into the Zhang villa, arriving in a dark limousine whose tinted windows hid the coffin of the Zhang heiress. Parking close to the main entrance, he was met by the head butler and the maids that tended to the "body" of Zhang Mi. Together the seven of them brought the casket made of pure steel of white silver, the top made out of transparent polished gla.s.s, whose interior bottom was lined by a velvet draping of crimson. The coffin was brought into the room where the heiress was laid. Director Ko informed the people with him whom Yang Lin had placed at his disposal that he still had to bring the flowers and his "suitcase" that he left behind in the car.
Director Ko was dressed surprisingly in a white s.h.i.+rt, suit and pants of baby pink, tie with a suit pocket handkerchief of navy blue. He wore dark brown leather shoes, on his left hand was a watch of deep brown and a platinum fas.h.i.+on band on his ring finger. His appearance was spiffy, anyone that saw him would not for once think he was the owner of a very successful funeral home, he looked the part of an older good looking socialite, nothing was out of place from his quiff hairstyle which gave his dark hair a somewhat lazy look.
After two trips from the car to the home of the heiress, the bouquet of white lilies and an a.s.sortment of yellow, pink, red and white Peruvian lilies was brought in along with the leather bound "suitcase" of several compartments containing numerous gla.s.s vials resembling teardrops of colorful scents, makeup brushes and accompanying makeup and hair brushes. All carefully arranged and sealed in their own s.p.a.ces.
There was one thing that Director Ko with his morbid fascination about death didn"t allow for, it was an offer to carry his "suitcase", none knew the reason, allowing the rest to carry the flowers inside, while he staggered carrying the somewhat heavy portmanteau of hidden significance.
