Chapter 14
CHAPTER 14

Treat an Illness before it’s too Late, Blind

“Kiss you.” Xiao Chen propped his chin up, narrowing his eyes to look at the crimson cheeked woman who were stomping in anger. A thread of interest suddenly flashed in his eyes; having this kind of woman at his side, teasing her once in a while, also seemed very interesting.

“You….. You…..” Jing Yue’s face, didn’t know whether it was anger or shame, went very red; finally she swung her arms and left the room in quick steps. Originally, she had wanted to leave just like that; suddenly, as if she remembered about something, she turned her body and went back.

Jing Yue didn’t go inside and was standing in the doorway. Slightly frowning, she looked at Xiao Chen who recklessly draped a robe on his shoulder and was lying down on the couch, opened her mouth and said: “Wei, Xiao Chen, I want to return to the forest.”

“N……”  Xiao Chen lowered his eyelids and indifferently answered, as if he didn’t even have the slightest care to what Jing Yue were saying.

“You answered really quick, you’re not afraid I’ll run?” Jing Yue’s mouth mumbled.

“If you want to see the mountain burned, go ahead and run.” Xiao Chen completely closed his eyes. As that indifferent words landed, they immediately made Jing Yue so angry her face went green. Would this man use just this one trick?

“I’ll be back in three days.” Jing Yue spoke and was turning her body around to leave; this time Xiao Chen opened his eyes and looked toward the back of Jing Yue’s leaving figure. Frowning, he loudly said: “Two days, let Xing Er go with you.” Jing Yue grudgingly agreed, she just knew she couldn’t have her wish fulfilled.

Jing Yue changed her whole clothes into a clean one. As she walked out from inside the so-called huge residence, she immediately received everyone’s gaze including those guard who watched the gate and those pa.s.sing strangers. Those scorching gazes practically drilled a hole on Jing Yue.

Jing Yue firmly shook her body. Slightly slowing her pace, she leaned her head, looked at wooden face Xing er at her side and asked: “Tch….. why are these people looking at me like that?”

Xing Er, born with an expressionless poker face, was following behind Jing Yue without any other movement. This time hearing Jing Yue’s question, his body slightly halted; lifting his head to look at Jing Yue, he then turned his head to gaze at a wooden board on the side.

Above were two enormous notice, the two characters painfully pierced Jing Yue’s eyes. She walked toward the board hastily. When she finally saw the content written above clearly, Jing Yue’s face went black. She closely stared at a portrait attached on it; the first one suspiciously looked like her face.

“I…… look like this?” Jing Yue ferociously drew the corner of her mouth out. Looking at the brush painting of herself, she simply felt she was looking at an abstract ghost.

Hearing Jing Yue’s question, Xing Er earnestly studied the portrait and nodded silently.

“You are blind; treat it before it’s too late.” Jing Yue whole face went black glaring at Xing Er. She walked in large strides toward the side of a horse; frowning slightly, she stared at the horse.

Xing Er went slightly blank; raising his hand, he shook it in front of his eyes and quietly said: “Can see, not blind.”

“Pu……” Jing Yue turned her head just in time to look at Xing Er’s action, she immediately laughed. That bright and beautiful laughing face was watching Xing Er, suddenly let Xing Er’s face slightly reddened. He turned his sight away, didn’t dare to look toward Jing Yue.

“Wei, I don’t want to ride this horse, such a small horse.” Jing Yue shouted toward Xing Er.

Xing Er turned his head to look at the small horse his master had chosen for Jing Yue, opened his mouth and said: “This is master’s arrangement.”

“Does this man really take me as a little child?” hearing what Xing Er said Jing Yue’s face went black. She looked at every direction and happened to look at a black steed which wanted to enter the residence, dragged by guard. Eyes suddenly went bright; Jing Yue lifted her hand to point and said: “I want that horse.”
