"Great, now I can design my house." Jing Yue smiled with her eyes sparkling as she began to plan her future in a great mood.
"Your Highness, we’ve arrived at the mansion." Xing Yi called from outside. Xiao Chen stepped out and Jing Yue followed. When Jing Yue went out of the carriage, she suddenly stared in surprise at someone who was standing on the side of the carriage.
“Isn’t this Jing Lang?”
Jing Yue blinked, confused.
"My father heard that Ninth Princess has pa.s.sed the etiquette a.s.sessment, so he asked me to bring a congratulatory gift." Jing Lang looked at Jing Yue and said.
"Master Jing is so courteous." Xiao Chen nodded slightly, looking sideways at Jing Yue.
Jing Yue stared at the gift with some complication in her eyes, wondering whether she should accept it from Jing Lang.
However, her hands stretched out unconsciously and she didn’t even notice it until she held the gift on her hands.
"Please extend my greatest grat.i.tude to him." Jing Yue muttered with her head bowed, and turned away at once with the gift.
Xiao Chen peered at Jing Yue’s back as she left and then followed her after nodding slightly to Jing Lang. While Xiao Chen walked into the room, he saw Jing Yue excitedly opening the gift on the bed!

Looking at the excitement on her face, Xiao Chen felt somewhat speechless as he secretly thought to himself, “So she was merely pretending to be so reluctant to accept the gift?!” Then he sit on the chair next to Jing Yue, the corner of his mouth still twitching out of shock.
"What’s this?" Jing Yue opened the box and found a smaller case in it. She blinked with confusion and opened it. She raised her eyebrows while smelling subtle lotus scent.
"Jade Cream." Xiao Chen squinted as his eyes fell on Jing Yue’s foot wrapped in white cloth, "Jade Cream is made by the Ghost Valley, where produces only three bottles a year. Your scars can be removed without leaving any trace.”
"Huh? How did he know that my foot was burned?" Jing Yue asked with a wink.
"He’ll find a way so long as he wants to know." Xiao Chen said with his eyebrows slightly lifted.
"Oh..." Spreading a beautiful smile, Jing Yue joyfully held the Jade Cream in her hand and walked to Xiao Chen, “How should I use it?”
"It seemed that... you don"t hate the gift from Jing Zhan?" Xiao Chen was a little tempted by Jing Yue"s happy face.
"Why should I hate such good stuff?" Jing Yue muttered and squinted at Xiao Chen.
"I thought..." Xiao Chen paused.
"What?" Jing Yue gave him a questioning look.
"Well, you can use the Jade Cream once the scab desquamates." Xiao Chen stood up and looked at Jing Yue, "I have something to do and will come back later at night. You don"t need to wait me for dinner." With that said, Xiao Chen then turned away and left the room.
"When did I wait for you..." Jing Yue muttered with a little surprise but didn’t take it seriously while watching Xiao Chen leave.
"Oh! I haven"t asked Xiao Chen where Yin Jian was taken to!" Jing Yue suddenly remembered it and rushed to find Xiao Chen, but was just told by Xing Er that Xiao Chen was out of the mansion and he didn’t know where Xiao had gone.
"It’s so weird that Xiao Chen disappeared the tenth day of every month..." Jing Yue frowned and went back to the room, thinking about asking Xiao Chen the next day.
