CHAPTER 2
Born Different Pupils, Hunting
The body that jumped from the cliff seemed so determined and serene; her gown seemed to fly across the setting sun, sinking to the sky beneath; the group of guards was shocked, wanting to reach out and grab the woman yet it was already too late, the head guard lied on his stomach on the cliff’s edge, looking at the silhouette that fade away and disappeared at once when he blinked, feeling a slight shake in his stomach.
Merely a brief sentence spoken (*by the grandmother about evil star), yet managed to push someone into death and ruin a family, this brave woman actually have what fault?
“The eldest young master have been brought back, we too should return and report this.” The head guard looked at the mist in the valley beneath the cliff, shook his head and turned around to leave.
When everyone has left, the inside of this forest also resumed its formers tranquility; along with the arrival of night, the inside of the forest appeared especially eerie and frightening, moonlight fell between the trees was indistinct. Only a grey furred mother wolf eager to go around the forest, seemed to search for something, strolled for several distances, and finally discovered a very small hole in the ground.
Those eyes that were as green as the forest seemed to be suffused with a ray of viciousness, gazing at the sleeping baby inside the hole just like looking at a plate full of food, the white sharp teeth was exposed. Just about to bite down, it saw the baby opened her eyes, enchanting dark green eyes floating with a ray of coldness as if they were able to see though your soul, making you couldn’t help but shudder.
“Wuu……” A whimper came from the mouth of the gray wolf, seemingly somewhat afraid and bowed its head. When the baby slowly closed her eyes, the world once again returned to be dark; in the indistinct moonlight, a big gray wolf could be seen carrying a baby inside a silk bundle in its mouth into the darkness, slowly disappear.
Fourteen years later…..
Inside the dense forest, a flash of shadow leaped between the tree branches; in a distant place, a yellow deer lower its head to eat gra.s.s; behind a tree trunk, a black shadow slowly treaded out, taking shelter inside bushes, clear green rays flickering on top of the risen wooden arrow.
The yellow deer’s ears slightly twitched, startled and lifted its head; it looked around yet couldn’t see a single living animal, its innate ability to feel danger just appeared a moment ago; surprisingly a wooden arrow broke through the wind came toward the deer, instantly pierced that yellow deer’s neck, a deadly strike!
“Ha~ dinner has been settled!” A melodious and young voice appeared, that small shadow behind the tree trunk came out in one leap, a strange clothing wrapped around that girl’s pet.i.te body, a full head of black hair was combed into a ponytail, hands were holding a crude handmade bow and arrow, that stunning face was filled with joyous smile, the girl was also approximately only fourteen years old.
“Awuu…….” The shrubs were quivering, a gray wolf suddenly came out, one of its paw stepped on the yellow deer’s body. It raised its head looking towards the girl, with a black spot between its eyes, it appeared extremely formidable.
“Yin Jian! This is my kill! You go hunt yourself if you want to eat!” The girl fiercely glared at the gray wolf she called ‘Yin Jian’. Waving her hand to drive the wolf away, she nimbly pulled the wooden arrow stuck on the yellow deer’s body away.
“Wuu……” That wolf seemed to understand the girl’s word; the wolf whimpered and rubbed the girl’s neck in a flattering manner making the girl laugh.
“You this lazy b.u.m, the next time going out I’m not going to take you, I’ll take Yin Feng out!” The girl laughed and spoke threateningly while rubbing Yin Jian’s head; Yin Jian’s stopped right away and in one jump it brought the girl down, its looks when baring its fangs really made people frightened, yet the woman wasn’t scared at all.
Just at the time the girl about to speak, a sharp sound of arrow being released could be heard. The girl narrowed her eyes, a smell of danger was approaching; without any hesitation, the girl pulled Yin Jian’s big body with all her strength away to the side, avoiding the arrow which was full of murderous intent.
