Chapter 298: What’s on Your Mind?
The heater was on in the room, and Quan Jue was wearing a black cotton s.h.i.+rt.
When Chi Jiao’s hand landed on the collar of his s.h.i.+rt, Quan Jue’s breathing instantly became tense.
Immediately after, the young man’s exquisite collarbone was made obvious to the eyes.
Chi Jiao stared at Quan Jue’s collarbone and thought to herself, “How can a man be so devilish and perfect that even his collarbones are so alluring?”
Regardless of whether they were men or women, as long as they were humans, they would all have some greed in their hearts.
She was no exception.
Enduring the little restlessness in her heart, Chi Jiao gritted her teeth. She was about to return the favor when the young man before her suddenly flipped them over and pressed her down.
Only then did he let her off.
“What are you planning on doing?” the young man asked softly, his thin lips almost touching hers.
“Didn’t you want me to make you happy?” Chi Jiao stared at him with her pet.i.te face.
Quan Jue reached out and pinched her nose. “I told you to coax me. But how were you planning to do that?”
With her nose pinched, Chi Jiao’s voice sounded even more coy and soft. “Kiss you. Just like how you kissed me earlier.”
Quan Jue’s breathing tightened.
She really wanted to learn what he had just done.
Did she know the consequences would be no different from playing with fire?
Looking at the girl’s bright and clear eyes, Quan Jue once again felt like a beast.
How could he lead her astray like this?
It wasn’t time yet.
He had to wait for her to grow up.
She was like a blank piece of paper now. He couldn’t bear to stain her the slightest bit.
Quan Jue let go of her nose and said indifferently, “I was asking you to coax me by saying something.”
“Ah?” Chi Jiao’s face turned a few shades redder. She really didn’t expect Quan Jue to mean that.
“What are you thinking about in your little brain? Huh?” Quan Jue curled his lips helplessly.
Chi Jiao shot him a look and bit his lips. “Stop talking.”
She would die of embarra.s.sment if he said anything more.
Seeing how embarra.s.sed she was, Quan Jue chuckled delightedly.
Chi Jiao’s cheeks puffed up like a pufferfish when she saw Quan Jue smiling so happily.
Pus.h.i.+ng him away, Chi Jiao got up from the bed.
“Are you angry?” Quan Jue got up and grabbed her wrist. He said in a low voice, “I’m not laughing anymore. Don’t be angry.”
Chi Jiao looked at him and saw that he was no longer smiling. She then huffed softly. “I’m not that petty.”
“Gu Xia and Shen Liao aren’t back yet?” Quan Jue suddenly changed the topic.
“They’ll have to wait until tomorrow before they can return. It looks like it’s going to rain.” Chi Jiao looked out of the window. It was only four or five in the afternoon, but the sky outside had already darkened, and it looked like a storm was brewing.
Quan Jue nodded. Shortly after, he seemed to have thought of something and asked, “Did you receive other guests today?”
When he and Chi Jiao came back together earlier, they saw a black SUV parked outside.
The car had not been there when they went hunting in the forest.
“It’s the 117 staff member’s car. They came to discuss something with my G.o.d grandfather and G.o.d grandmother,” Chi Jiao said as she looked at him.
