Celestial Peak

Chapter 331

Roar! A roar created numerous ripples and resulted in his Ocean"s Lull to fail him to get the specific area of his enemies.

A single roar was problematic enough, but soon a number of roars soon followed. The Beasts of the past had been awakened!

"This is not good." So he said and he increased his speed even further.

The White Sun caused the trench to tremble to awaken the beasts that was in deep slumber. Roars caused w.a.n.g Ling"s Ocean"s Lull to pick up a lot of ripples from all sides but mostly from the bottom of the trench.

The ripples were not stopping resulting in w.a.n.g Ling abandoning the Ocean"s Lull and instead heightening his foresight instead. His eyes produced a mystical color of crimson, his presence increased together with his qi and exploded with speed.

The Gray Figure inside of him was enjoying the show whilst keeping itself busy. w.a.n.g Ling tried finding out what it was doing and ended up learning it was collecting the soul that has weak wills and those that had been destroyed previously.

The Gray Figure noticed his gaze and merely laughed, "Do not worry, I"ll give it to you later. I can"t devour these souls anyway."

But that is not the matter. It would seem that the Gray Figure has its mean on manipulating souls. If that was the case does that mean it was also hiding some more skills and techniques he did not know? Why would it do that? w.a.n.g Ling thought.

He wanted to know but while his mind was dwelling on the idea he didn"t notice that he unknowingly through the thought on the back of his head without his knowledge. It would take some time and these questions would disappear from his mind entirely as if these thoughts never even existed.

It will soon become a blank void he will not know of. The Gray Figure smiled and continued collecting the souls of the deceased.

w.a.n.g Ling, on the other hand, continued his descend with breakneck speed and with the increasing pressure that continuously pulled him down like a rock. His body was being too pressured, ordinary Immortal and even geniuses of his level would have crumbled long ago, but w.a.n.g Ling"s body withstood the pressure.

He was like a meteor that was about to crash to the ocean"s floor. And with his G.o.d-like eyesight he saw a s.h.i.+mmering azure entrance on the left wall at the bottom of the trench.

The bottom of the trench was wide unlike the middle part and as he looked at his back where numerous beasts had appeared he felt stifled. The number of the beasts was unimaginable, he can"t forcefully aim for the surface now there are too many beasts in there.

He kicked the water and flapped his wings he neared aimed for the azure entrance…

It was then that the ocean floor showed changes, as tiny hills popped out of nowhere a set of sharp teeth came out of nowhere. It was a beast that had been in hiding, waiting for the time when a prey would wander to its lair.

It was a set of teeth so big that it was at least w.a.n.g Ling"s size. It roared and its red eyes was seen to w.a.n.g Ling. However, w.a.n.g Ling"s emotions did not spike the least bit. Instead, he became even calmer, remaining unperturbed over what is happening.

With his palms opened and his h.e.l.lish qi together with Chaos Qi exploded with a dangerous light. He gathered it to his palms and had it directed towards the maw of the giant beasts. He drew three-fourths of his qi and with a giant ethereal flew out of his palms, "World Grasping Palm!"

The techniques of Chaos was unleashed, it was at its full glory and it latched on the maw of the beast, its intention was clear and with an enormous amount of force it closed the mouth of the beast.

The beast was taken by surprise and the giant hand managed to close its mouth. w.a.n.g Ling took this chance to head down and enter the entrance. The beasts with little bodies followed closely behind, but upon reaching a certain point the beasts stopped dead on their tracks.

The beasts moved left and right but never crossed a certain line. He stood there watching them acting like so, but then, he felt the presence of a primordial and archaic qi coming from the end of these tight-fitting cove.

w.a.n.g Ling could feel it, it was quite frankly terrifying it was as if something was trying to devour him. He flew out with the intention of trying to learn what is at the end of the cove. He was recovering while he flew and when he finally saw the end of the cove, he saw nothing.

It was a dead end and when he tried finding where he should go next he instinctively raised his head and saw a clear and fine surface. The surface reflected light, the light was s.h.i.+mmering and the reflection it created was just like gla.s.s.

He approached it with great care and when he did, w.a.n.g Ling"s figure disappeared from the cove and at the next moment, he was no longer underwater but on the surface. Inside a cavern where no exit is in sight, and behind him was a pond that reflected the entrance of the cove.

The temple was unimaginably huge, and the caver it was situated in was even more so amazing.

He ignored everything other than what is in front of him because at this moment his eyes were dead set on the old temple"s roof. Above, there was a black scaled dragon looking at him with its lizard-like eyes.

Its body was see-through, it was nothing but a soul but he can the power it held was not something he can look down upon.

"Human, no, you are not a human… you are not of the two race either, you cannot be the creator, but you have the ability to see me? What are you? It can"t be!"

The black scaled dragon"s eyes became enraged and it lifted its giant clawed-hands up from one of the smaller buildings.

And with a swipe, it went and tried to squash w.a.n.g Ling.

"s.h.i.+t!"

w.a.n.g Ling saw this and he flinched. He raised his hands and got ready to block the hands.
