"I am one of the G.o.ds created by the Mother of all Beasts. Disrespect me and you are thereby disrespecting the one who gave us our lives. Leaders of each Generation, step up, you have cultivated such rotten beings who fail to see through greatness!"Four people stepped forward; each representing one of the four Deity Races.
The leader of the Dragon Race, Reka, kneeled with his head forehead touching the light of the Cosmic Road, "I apologize for the impudence of the younglings. They are born in a time where they see no one as above them."
The three leaders of the races followed. They all prostrated themselves before the great Lords who gave them life.
"We the leaders of the Races are at fault for failing to educate them, please take my head if you so wish to end the journey of the young ones."
Lixus looked at the four leaders and then at the still growling younglings spouting their nonsense by the side.
"Leader, please do not bow your heads to such beings. You are the strongest of our race, you represent us all, you can take them, I know you can!" A member of the Dragon Race stepped forth to protect the dignity of his leader.
Then, it was like a domino effect and the younglings from the other races chimed in. The words of the Tiger Race was the most interesting as he said, "He is but a cat in the face of your Majestic Fangs! And his fur is nothing compared to —"
Smack!
"Stop your words you brat!" The leader of the Tigers known as Rimas slapped the young tiger before he can utter anything. He was about to touch something that should be touch, but then, he felt it, the danger was creeping up from behind. The eyes of Lixus was red from anger, without even needing to hear the words of the brat, Lixus knew what he was about to speak of.
"What did you just say, you s.h.i.+t?!"
The other Lords raised their heads to see who had said such a thing and then raised a brow so they can get a full view of the idiot who spoke of such blasphemy.
"Ooooh, he touched a nerve. Lixus, if you wish to punish the brat do not kill him, remember what I told you all those years ago? Mother was the one who told me to speak of them." Fae and Rith spoke in unison. They stared at Lixus whose white fur was darkening.
He raised his giant paw and then took a step forward.
His single step led to a surge of wind. He was a being who was beyond the understanding of the minds of this generation. He was hailed as G.o.d by the previous and current era and many realms, lifting the name of White Tigers on his back.
He was a G.o.d, a G.o.d of savagery and violence. Other than his love for a good old fas.h.i.+oned all-out fights with his fellow Deities his only happiness lies in the White fur that closely resembles that of his Mother"s.
Of the four siblings, he was the one who was bestowed with the white fur and he had taken pride in it and even took it upon himself to groom it without fail.
But the words of his own blood had spoken such things. This fur is the fur that is closest to that of his Mothers if it was to get looked down upon then his Mother"s name would follow shortly; such is Lixus" train of thought.
His anger was rising and as he took a step forward his large body disappeared and a middle-aged man wearing nothing stepped out. His body was very well-proportioned. His muscles were big but it was not excessively so.
His eyes were dark and his height was that of a three-meter human. He was enraged and Rimas who stood before Lixus could only tremble as he fell to his knees and then laid his arms in front of him with his palms facing the skies.
In just a single step of Lixus, his blood trembled and his spirit was crushed and grounded to bits. And even though they were not Tigers, the other four races all followed suit doing what Rimas had done.
Silence befell the Cosmic Road. Only Rixus remained on his fit. His everything was laid bare but no one dared to say anything. His presence caused everyone to feel the majesty of the true Deities who serve under the One True G.o.d of the Beasts.
"Move aside."
Rimas did not argue nor did he raised his head when he moved away from the path of his G.o.d. The rest of the White Tiger Race, whether they were rebellious or not also moved to the side and only the b.a.s.t.a.r.d who was sent flying by Rimas remained in his place.
Lixus and the young Tiger was several thousands of meters away, but it felt as if he was before the great Lixus. A great distance was between the two, but as Lixus took one step, s.p.a.ce seemed to have been folded and he appeared before the young Tiger who almost ridiculed his white fur.
"State your name."
".....Pixis, is my name...Lord."
He did not want to speak that was his thought. The young tiger was willing to throw his life in order for him to prove that he will not bend against the will of Lixus.
But, the instant Lixus appeared before him, no, when he took that first step and became his current form his blood forbade him from speaking of any words against Lixus.
"You have uttered that could have caused your whole race your lives. If Dragons have a reverse scale that should not be touched, then as a Tiger you should not utter about our fur or fangs. State anything about it any further and other than those three I would have killed everyone present to save the dignity of Mother. But your leader stopped you, so I shall forgive your entire Race and the others present.
"I cannot kill you and stripping you of your lineage is a waste so I shall give you a job. If you refuse I shall kill you, if you accept you will have the chance to live, what about it? Do you accept?"
Pixis was trembling but he still nodded his head by the end of it. His fear towards Lixus has reached new heights despite Lixus staying his hand sd he only spoke a few words.
But the talk of genocide stuck to the mind of not only Pixis but the other race as well.
Pixis nodded his head and Lixus smiled.
With his finger, he touched Pixis" forehead and sent out information to his mind.
"You have received my orders, now go, find them, and announce my words to them. If you fail me, you will have to die to pay for your blunder. You have 34 days to finish this job."
Pixis stopped dawdling and he disappeared after turning into a beam of white light.
The others were still petrified, but the silence was kept so it was all good.
Fae and Rith observed what Lixus had done and nodded their heads in satisfaction, "Good job, you have spared them and the perpetrator, you are growing. So, tell me, what did you make the young tiger do?"
Lixus shrugged his shoulder and carefreely said, "I sent him to the Kings."
