Caesar walked to his manor silently and entered his room without greeting anyone, Caesar"s face had a confused expression.

"I had thought that everything was simply a coincidence but perhaps I have been thinking far to simple lately…" Caesar could not help but think to himself

"Why were the peaceful elves killing merchants in the first place? Why did they allow me to send 500 troops on a suicide mission? Why did they send me specifically, a dukes son? Why did three kingdoms join up to destroy this kingdom? Why was the second prince helping the elves? And now a kitsune empress has come to find a strategist on orders of her father? Only a fool would believe all these to be a coincidence."

Caesar stood up slowly from his bed and whispered to himself "what is here in Rahvin kingdom?"

Caesar"s eyes chilled, he quickly stepped out of his room and looked for Sebastian. He finally spotted him inside the servant quarters. Once Caesar laid eyes on Sebastian he walked over and asked.

"Sebastian, where is my father?"

Sebastian smiled and replied "I believe he is on another business trip and will be back in a few days"

"Where did he go?" Caesar asked inquiringly

"I"m not sure, he doesn"t tell this lowly servant everything young master haha"

"By the way Sebastian, I didn"t realize earlier but all of the maids and other servants are gone. Why is that?"

Sebastian had a bewildered look as he said "I"m actually not too sure either, one-day lord Crowley just fired them all"

"I see… Inform me when he is back Sebastian"

Caesar said as he walked away, Caesar stroked his chin in contemplation "I suppose I can just wait for my father to return, however, It seems this small little kingdom is not as simple as I initially thought."

Caesar walked back into his room and tapped the desk in irritation before finally deciding to go to bed for the night.

"Daddy, it"s time to wake up hehe"

A giggling voice entered into Caesar"s ears abruptly waking him up, Caesar barely opened his eyes and sat up a little bit.

"Yawn" Caesar yawned and stretched his limbs, "I am truly not a morning person," he thought to himself quietly before looking at Elizabeth quizzically and asking "Why are you up so early?"

"For breakfast, I always get up this early"

"I see, let me dressed first. Ill head down soon after"

Elizabeth nodded her head and dashed outside the room, Caesar ma.s.saged his forehead with his hands for a second before begrudgingly getting up and walking to his closet. "Thankfully Sebastian does all my laundry, I don"t know what I would do without him," Caesar thought to himself as he was rummaging through his closet.

Caesar soon picked out a simple white b.u.t.ton-up shirt with a blue bow tie, a grey vest, and grey trousers. He picked out a pair of black dress shoes and headed towards the dining room.

Caesar ented into the dining room and noticed everyone was already at the table waiting for him… His three employee"s Arwin, Ally, and Felicia and of course Elizabeth were all there.

Caesar pulled out one of the chairs at the end of the table and sat down. Caesar signaled to them that they could eat, as he picked up his cutlery and dug in as well.

Caesar looked his three subordinates and said "I have a job for the three of you. Because I"m busy training the knights as of late I need someone to monitor the progress the engineers and blacksmiths are making"

"Fling"

Caesar tossed a black coin that was coated with purple towards Arwin "Show them that coin and they should know who you are, I want you to report to me about their progress every night"

The three nodded their heads solemnly and thought to themselves "this is the first job we have been given, albeit easy we should try our hardest"

Caesar smiled in satisfaction seeing their serious faces and continued eating his food, Elizabeth soon opened her mouth after.

"What am I going to do with no one at home? I"m going to be bored"

Caesar smiled and replied patiently "I have decided to enroll you at the academy in this kingdom… You will begin attending tomorrow"

"Academy? Is it fun?"

"You will meet a lot of children your age, but remember 1 rule Elizabeth." Caesar"s face turned into a serious one and paused for a second

"Never trust any man beside me"

"Okay daddy, I will remember that rule"

"Excellent"

The rest of the people at the table all had wry smiles on their faces and Sebastian thought to himself "he truly does take after Lord Crowley"

Caesar finished breakfast first and stood up. "I will be back tonight" he didn"t wait for their reply and walked out of the door, he got in his carriage that was already waiting for him and commanded "head to the outskirts of the kingdom"

*clak*

The carriage started moving towards the outskirts of the kingdom, as it pa.s.sed through the gates Caesar noticed two suspicious people in black cloaks start following them.

Caesar smiled slyly and thought to himself "I knew she would come to find me on her own, I didn"t plan to just eat and run away after all"

The carriage moved slowly through the streets of the city and soon arrived at the designated location. Rows of muscular men were already standing there straight as a pillar. Caesar stepped off the carriage slowly.

"We greet the Marshall!" They all roared out at the same time

Caesar paced in front of them and said: "You have all been training under me for two and a half weeks… The progress you all have made has astonished me"

Caesar paused for a second and continued "However the human body has limits, to make up for these limits humans practice using inner power or practice magic. Lately, you may have noticed a change within your body due to the materials I placed in your meals every day"

The knight"s all solemnly nodded their heads, during training sometimes they had a burning feeling inside their abdomen that allowed them to go further than their normal limits.

"What you are feeling is mana, this mana will allow you to surpa.s.s human limits and perhaps even reach into the realm of different races."

"Snap"

Caesar snapped and a few carts of swords were carried to the knight"s, Caesar smiled and said "these are your old swords, now that you have been practicing with abnormally heavy swords as of late they should be as light as a feather"

The knights all carried happy expressions as they dug through the weapons to find their old weapon.

"Whoa! I never knew I could swing down this fast"

"Haha, I feel as fast as lightning without those dread swords"

Caesar soon interrupted them "I will also allow you to take off the training armor so you can get a better feel for how much you have truly improved"

The knights didn"t waste any time after hearing Caesar"s words and immediately started ripping their armor off.

Caesar stroked his chin "They have probably reached the pinnacle that a human body can achieve with normal means, they need to adapt to the changes in their bodies and become masters now"

If the knight"s heard Caesar call the training they completed "normal means" they would all completely resent him.

Once the knights took off their armor they started swinging their swords with happy expressions… Everyone loved to improve, especially when it was completely visible.

Caesar soon grabbed their attention "Your bodies are strong, however, your techniques are severely lacking. I, unfortunately, am not a sword master so I can not train you in this aspect"

Caesar suddenly yelled out in a louder voice "But I do know a guy that has some skills with the sword that will willingly train you" Cesar said as he turned around and looked at the two peaking individuals back at the castle gates.

---

"H-how did he notice us"

"I"m not to sure empress"

"He"s talking about you, isn"t he? Go out there"

"As you command"

The middle-aged man tore off his cloak and walked towards Caesar and bowed "My name is Edward, your majesty"

Caesar tilted his head and confusion showed in his eyes as he said with a confused tone "majesty?"

Edward smiled wryly and shook his head… "nevermind, forget I said anything"

"Edward, can you teach these men swordsmanship for the next week? In return, I will be that strategist that you need for your mission"

Edward nodded his head enthusiastically "I will do it"

Caesar nodded his head in satisfaction as he walked over to the other cloaked individual… Once he reached right in front of her he could see her visibly flinch

Caesar bent over and went eye level with her as he took her hood off, her yellow eyes were filled with indignation while looking at Caesar. She was wearing a small dress under her cloak that was extremely visible on the neck.

Caesar perked up his eyebrows in interest as he circled around her "are you trying to seduce me?" he said in a deep and slow tone

"W-who would try to seduce you?"

Her face grew as red as a tomato which made Caesar laugh out loud, he couldn"t help but want to tease this la.s.s. He put his hand on her head "don"t worry, I won"t touch you for now"

"Ahem, how many people are in your clan Ahri?" Caesar changed the subject and asked curiously

As if she finally gained some weight to throw around she said arrogantly "Hmph, we have over 12000 male warriors and 8000 female warriors. Are you scared now?"

"No, I"m just curious how all 18000 of your clansmen follow a dense girl such as yourself"

"Hehehe, because I have the awakened the ancient bloodline of the nine tailed fox. It is said that the nine-tailed foxes went head to head with n.o.ble vampires in the past"

Suddenly her expression turned depressed

"But they were all killed at the same time as the vampires, they were killed by those d.a.m.n b.a.s.t.a.r.ds from the church under the pretense of sanctioning evil when they are the evil ones!"

The girl stomped her feet in rage…

Interest shined in Caesar"s eyes as he asked her in a curious tone "tell me more about this war and the reasoning the church had… This information is regrettably not present in the library"

Ahri smiled widely

"sure!"
