Prologue
The Fifteenth Year of Rule of Emperor Rui Wen of Great Rui. Murong, the ruling clan of Great Yan in the north, attacked and initiated a war. Lin, the ruling clan of Great Rui, had never put an emphasis on military and so, with a weaker army, the Great Rui troops were pushed south until the South Hill Pa.s.s that served as the last line of defence to the Great Rui capital. The last fatal battle seemed imminent.
