1338 A Difficult Battle—Killing the Obelisk Scale Dragon Beast! (2)

“You make me feel like a big villain.” w.a.n.g Teng had a tough time finding words.

Round Ball squinted at him; it felt like he was saying, ‘Aren’t you?’

“Roar!”

The Obelisk Scale Dragon Beast suddenly stopped. Its one good eye looked fierce, while the other one was oozing blood, adding to a body covered in wounds.

!!

A dark yellow ball began to condense in its mouth, aimed at the Devil Slayer.

“Dodge!” w.a.n.g Teng ordered, “Prepare to attack!”

The Devil Slayer immediately began to charge up while under Round Ball’s control.

Boom!

The dark yellow sphere of light was fired by the dragon; it was so fast it turned into a beam as it rushed to the Devil Slayer.

w.a.n.g Teng was prepared, though. The s.h.i.+p started its left engine, easily avoiding the attack by the smallest of margins.

Concurrently, the s.h.i.+p’s weapons were fully charged; they were fired towards the giant dragon.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Several cannons were fired at the same time, all with tremendous power. The volley formed an encirclement, surrounding the creature.

“Roar!”

The Obelisk Scale Dragon Beast hurriedly dodged, but was still struck by some of the cannons. The terrifying Force struck its body and bombarded it. Its entire body moved backwards and slammed against a meteorite, smas.h.i.+ng it into pieces.

Boom!

The ma.s.sive dragon was enraged; it rushed out from the shattered meteorite and charged towards the Devil Slayer.

w.a.n.g Teng and Round Ball wouldn’t give it any chances. The s.h.i.+p maneuvered a perfect drift and appeared in another direction, followed by another volley of blasts at the creature.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The scene was so touching that the dragon wanted to cry. It was being bombarded again.

They were adopting large scale attacks. Hits would land even if the dragon dodged part of them.

Those attacks would have felt like a drizzle in a usual scenario. The beast could have forced its way through to reach the s.p.a.cecraft and destroy it.

Just one smack could have rendered the s.p.a.cecraft into sc.r.a.p pieces.

It was heavily injured, though. Its offensive, defenses and speed were significantly reduced, leaving the creature feeling extremely sorrowful.

It was being played. A dark behemoth, actually forced into a corner by a celestial stage human.

“Roar!”

The giant dragon howled in frustration.

However, it was greeted by another bombardment. w.a.n.g Teng would never show any mercy.

Five bombardment rounds later—the Obelisk Scale Dragon Beast knew it could no longer approach the s.p.a.cecraft. It was frustrated, but could only give up and escape towards the starry sky.

No matter what, staying alive was more important.

“It’s running again!” Round Ball’s expression turned weird, as it quickly controlled the Devil Slayer to chase after it.

“Wait,” said w.a.n.g Teng.

“We’re not chasing?” Just as Round Ball asked—it saw the dragon suddenly turn its head abruptly, catching the little one off guard, scaring it.

“Fire the universe-level force cannon,” said w.a.n.g Teng as he walked out of the cabin.

“d.a.m.n, I almost fell for it.” Round Ball’s expression turned dark. It was fortunate that w.a.n.g Teng gave a timely heads up. The s.h.i.+p retreated and began charging up the cannon.

“What are you going to do?”

“I’ll go out for a walk. Just get ready.” w.a.n.g Teng jumped out of the s.p.a.cecraft right after his reply.

A set of crimson armor instantly covered the young man’s body: the universe battle armor, as he would never act complacently when facing a behemoth.

The Obelisk Scale Dragon Beast’s eyes turned red when it saw the human show up. It then let out a loud roar and charged towards w.a.n.g Teng in a mad rage.

“Roar!”

This small ant!

This is the small ant that forced me into a corner!

The dragon wanted to tear him to pieces, chew him hard and swallow him.

“So fierce!” w.a.n.g Teng raised his eyebrow and dodged the beast’s move. A strange sound wave came out of his mouth.

The beast was already prepared for sonic techniques, immediately concentrating its spirit to block.

It was previously hit twice because of the novelty.

The same trick wouldn’t work this time.

Sure enough, the soundwaves were unable to do much after entering its mind. The heaven stage spiritual body displayed its strength.

“Roar!”

The great dragon let out a loud roar laced with a hint of joy.

However, it suddenly felt dizzy before happiness could set in.

“What’s going on?”

The dizziness only lasted a few seconds, followed by bewilderment once it recovered.

w.a.n.g Teng wanted to laugh when he noticed this. The dragon beast really was an idiot.

It was tricked that easily. To think he had actually been worried a moment before.

He didn’t use Divine Sonicwave this last time; it was another sonic technique, which was stronger and more peculiar. It was the actual Devil Soundwave from the devil ovum!
