1373 Open During the Day, Close at Night! (4)

Please forgive me! w.a.n.g Teng said in his heart.

A few attribute bubbles were dropped.

It works! His eyes lit up as he quickly moved to pick them up.

Solar Dragon Eye*1

!!

Solar Dragon Eye*1

Divine Level Fire Talent*200

Solar Dragon Flame*100

“Huh?!” w.a.n.g Teng exclaimed, clearly surprised. “The Solar Dragon Eye?!”

He felt a strange energy enter his eyes as the attributes merged into his body; a transformation was taking place.

The Real Eye was stimulated. Gold light flashed in his eyes, and a tinge of black and white appeared on his pupils.

Blinking once, they turned white. Blinking again turned them black.

It was peculiar.

The strange scene lasted for a second, but then the eyes were covered by a conspicuous golden light.

“Open in daytime, close at night!” w.a.n.g Teng was enlightened. His eyes glistened and he was pleasantly surprised.

It was a vision skill!

He managed to pry a vision skill out of the Solar Dragon’s corpse. It was unbelievable.

Honestly, w.a.n.g Teng didn’t expect such a boon. It came completely out of the blue. The devil mind creature had never executed vision skills while controlling the body; there was no clue of its existence.

His corpse pummeling was done with a ‘just in case’ mindset. What if there were any goodies dropped? After all, the Solar Dragon Race was famous, endowed with exceptional talent. He honestly didn’t expect to receive something.

Information pertaining to the Solar Dragon Eye was sent to w.a.n.g Teng’s mind, which helped him attain a basic understanding of the skill.

The skill would allow him to absorb light and heat within a certain range. That was where the ‘open during the day, close at night’ came from.

What did it imply?

It would be daylight when opening his eyes, and dark when he closed them.

The white and black colors of the Solar Dragon Eye were related to that saying.

When the pupils were black, they could absorb the nearby light and heat, turning a certain range into a ‘nighttime’ of sorts.

When they changed to white, they could release light and heat, releasing a sun-like attack. The surrounding area would turn bright.

Our hero thought that the skill was impressive.

Of course, the prerequisite was having a high skill level; otherwise, the attacking ability would be limited and basically useless.

The mere two points of Solar Dragon Eye were only enough to test out the skill before it died down. He couldn’t use it.

Devil Emperor Bare Brain wasn’t able to use the skill when he was taking control of that body. There wouldn’t be a reason not to use a powerful skill.

Actually, the original owner of the body not having awakened the Solar Dragon Eye skill was another possibility.

Those were our hero’s guesses after receiving the skill.

He shook his head, putting the matter to rest. His gaze was smoldering as he stared at the Solar Dragon corpse again.

This is good stuff.

If he could milk more of those special attributes, he would be able to use that amazing vision skill of the Solar Dragon Race.

w.a.n.g Teng lifted his Lightning Slap and started bas.h.i.+ng the corpse.

Fortunately, it was an extremely tough, universe-stage body. It wouldn’t be crushed easily; the young hero could work while free of any guilt.

He had nothing against that dragon race but he had no choice. That’s why he tried not to ruin the remains. That would be inappropriate.

He wanted to properly return the body to its people.

An hour pa.s.sed. w.a.n.g Teng managed to collect 26 points of the Solar Dragon Eye attribute in the end. It wasn’t much, but it was more than before.

He felt able to execute the eye skill with some effort.

He also obtained a good amount of Solar Dragon Flame and divine-level fire talent from the corpse, allowing those two attributes to rise a little.

w.a.n.g Teng stopped, realizing he couldn’t get more attributes out of the body anymore. The limit had been reached.

Still, he was already satisfied since the gains were completely unexpected.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” w.a.n.g Teng placed his palms together and bowed at the corpse as a way to clear his conscience. Then, he stored the body and planned for the day he would return it to the Solar Dragon Race.

“w.a.n.g Teng, we’re here,” said Round Ball in w.a.n.g Teng’s mind.

w.a.n.g Teng was excited. He quickly walked out of the cultivation room and entered the main control room.

“Look.” The little helper stared at the planet being monitored. Excitement was evident.

The young man also noticed. There was a strange glimmer in his eyes as he looked at the planet covered with a faint white glow. “We’re finally here.”

Round Ball suddenly asked mysteriously, “I scanned the planet and… guess what?”

w.a.n.g Teng raised his eyebrows and asked, “What?” He didn’t bother guessing.

“I detected cosmos-stage warrior fluctuations on the planet,” Round Ball replied.

“Cosmos stage warriors!” w.a.n.g Teng frowned. Veblen had told him that the natives had planetary-stage cultivation at most. Why were cosmos warriors detected?

“It can only mean that something has happened,” Round Ball said.

“Invaders?” w.a.n.g Teng pondered.

“Yes, it’s the most likely scenario,” Round Ball said.

w.a.n.g Teng nodded. He asked his small ally to move closer before activating his Real Eye to look at the planet.

w.a.n.g Teng saw something and turned grim. “It’s not just an invasion. This planet is a little strange.”
