[Friday, Evening]Towards the end of your school life, you"ll need to decide on a future career. Out of everything that was enjoyable to a person it had to be reduced to one main thing. Everything else will be left behind as hobbies that will slowly die out until the end of time.
The teachers help the students decide on their future. They met with each student one to one with their parents, and discuss the ever closing worry of the future.
"I don"t know what I want to do," Owen said as he sat without his parents who had to work. "I was hoping to do something computing-based but maybe Music will work?"
"I see," The teacher said, unsure of how to push Owen into the right direction as he wasn"t sure himself of what the right direction was. "Why don"t you think about what you would do in those sectors? What would you do in computer science or music?"
"Hmmm? I don"t know. Maybe I could be apart of some sort of music group? Maybe I can start a band?"
The teacher looked on at Owen"s attempt at humour and was unsure of how serious he was.
"Why not think about it more..."
Owen"s lack-of-parents evening was short and ended quickly with him still as undecided as before. His potential in both fields was clear but the enjoyment was all that mattered.
"I will study music at university!" Ruby demanded to the teacher as her mum nodded in the back whilst her step-dad, who was against it, slowly agreed.
"If that is what you wish," Her step-dad said.
"It"s clear your music grades are perfect." The teacher said. "What would you do after that? What about a future career?"
"I don"t know!" Ruby proudly said to the room. "I was hoping I"d figure that out when I got there. silly me."
"I think that"s best." Her mum said piping up from the back, throwing support at her daughter.
"I-I agree," The teacher had no other role but to agree with Ruby who seemed so adamant on taking music that telling her otherwise felt pointless.
"I hope you will be more successful than your brother!" Sean"s mum said praying to the G.o.ds above that Sean will be rich and not forget about her.
"Don"t worry," Sean said. "I"m sure I"ll be fine."
"What are you going to study?" The teacher said looking at Sean"s slightly above average grades.
"Sports science!" he replied as if it was the path he decided on the day he was born.
"I think that"s perfect!" his mum said. "You love football, but I wouldn"t want you being a footballer! so, This is perfect!"
For what felt like the hundredth time, the teacher had a meeting where they were pushed to the side and forgotten about.
"I think I can take the world by storm!" Kaylee said as stood on the table dancing around to the sound of her parents clapping as the teacher looked on in horror.
"R-right…" They said pretending to write something down to not look awkward at whatever it was Kaylee was doing.
"I support you 100%!" Her mum said already getting her autograph.
"Me too!" Kaylee"s dad joined in on the autograph spree and even pulled out some cheaply made merchandise of what can only be described as a Kaylee doll that was possessed by satan and drowned in a river.
"an actress?" The teacher said. "I-it"s not the most out of the blue one I"ve heard all day…"
"I don"t know," Simon said as he was handed a sheet with all possible future careers that would be good for him. "I guess… this one?"
He closed his eyes and pointed at random. Hoping that whatever it was would suit him perfectly.
"A chef? I guess that"s it then." He said ready to leave and start his life as a chef.
"Wait wait wait…" The teacher called him back as Simon starting tying an ap.r.o.n he pulled out of thin air. "Your parents aren"t here so think about this carefully."
"Alright,"
Simon looked at the sheet again and was resisting every nerve in his body to not do the random picking. He thought about it thousands of times and felt pain in his body from resisting something that randomly became so natural to him.
"I guess this one?" He said.
"A counsellor?" The teacher responded looking at Simon again.
"You don"t think it will work for me?"
"No… that"s not it…" the teacher said with a creepily warm smile. "I feel like that suits you more than anything I could have ever come up with."
"R-right…" Simon replied creeped out hoping that he could leave the room soon so he could live to see the day he could become a counsellor.
"I don"t agree!" Lily"s mum screamed as she hit her hand on the table for unneeded dramatic effect. "Working in a school is stupid! It makes no sense!"
"I-I want to!" Lily screamed back at her mum who was unaware of how to argue with her daughter as this was the first time in 18 years.
"W-well then," she said sitting back down. "Are we done here?"
"Y-yes..." The teacher said as they downed their fifth cup of coffee that day.

"I see," the teacher said. "I haven"t spoken to you much but you seem like a political person. This is a good choice!"
"Thanks!" Claire responded with a bright smile. "I hope to one day rule this country and do what I can for the people!"
"R-right," The teacher said writing down Claire"s path on their paper. "I hope that one day that your dream will come true."
"Thanks!" Claire had the smile of someone who would destroy anyone in their path to achieve what they want. Even if it meant blackmailing her opponents. A true politician in the making
"So, Ethan," The teacher said sitting down after a long day. "What is it that you want to do?"
Ethan sat with his parents beside him who looked as nervous as he did. They showed support by giving him time to speak. His voice was nervous and his parents had already heard what he was going to say.
"U-Um… I think… from next year on… I"m going to study abroad…"
