DIZION

Chapter 1

The sun rose accompanied by several maple leaves falling to the ground as this day starts the autumn season of the year. Inside a chamber in the Royal Palace of XiDe Kingdom, Yu Xiao was jolted awake by his body clock that was set every morning at 7. Laying in his bed, dazed and oblivious to the bustle outside, he tries to remember where he is right now. This chamber full of blue drapes and silver ornaments was foreign to him. He doesn"t have the slightest idea where the h.e.l.l is this place.

This must be a room of rich and n.o.ble people, normal people wouldn"t afford all these silver hanging everywhere.

An incense time had pa.s.sed, but he still couldn"t grasp how he ended up in this place. Upon realizing that relying on memory won"t bear him fruit, he started moving his limbs and touched himself. He caressed his body from face to chest, chest to waist, then to his crotch. When his hand reached the hard part, he was immediately astounded by this thing under his robes, freaked out and let out a piercing shriek as if he saw a ghost coming to kill him.

With chills down his spine, he came to an abrupt and frightening realization...

He was a man.

Of course, he was a man!! He was Yu Xiao, but the moment he opened his eyes, the soul possessing this body was no longer him. A memory flashed on his mind. Though he can only recall the time he performed a ritual, he felt as if he used to be female, then probably became a wandering spirit for who knows how many years. He robbed a body. No, he unknowingly possessed another mortal"s body, an accident must"ve happened.

Amid his contemplation,

"Pa!" The door was harshly kicked open to the point that it almost shattered. His martial instinct allowed him to react quickly. He got up and gripped the hilt of his sword, but to his surprise, there was none.

Not even a sword? Are you kidding me?

A mauve-clad man with a silver emblem on his left chest, appearing to be seventeen or eighteen, stood still on the entrance, looking at him with a stern gaze."Ge, did something happen?"

His words sounded like he was worried but concealed by pride. From his words, Yu Xiao deduced that this person was, in fact, his brother. He just now recalled the shriek he made a while ago. "I… nothing happened."

"Yu Xiao?" He thought, "..so this is the name of this body."

Thinking that nothing could be done as of now, he could only sigh and acknowledge his current ident.i.ty. Another man came rushing as well. This time, it was a slightly older fellow with a kinder voice. He bowed and greeted the man in the entrance, "Your Highness Yu Zhi!!"

Yu Zhi?

Then the man entered, took a swift glance and greeted the still confused Yu Xiao, "Your Highness Second Prince Yu !"

Son of a monarch??!!!

That was another strike.

His thoughts were muddled but for some reason, he"s used to keeping a serious and dignified demeanor despite breaking inside. Truthfully, he didn"t even know why he"s reacting this way towards being called "Your Highness". He guessed it must have something to do with his previous life, he just couldn"t remember yet. Yu Zhi turned to ask the man behind him, "Ji Yuan! Is Queen Mother already outside?"

"Yes, Your Highness. That was the reason for my rush here. The carriages are ready and Her Majesty Queen Bao is already waiting for Your Highness Yu Zhi and His Highness Yu Xiao there."

"Alright. Tell her we"ll be there in a while."

Ji Yuan then hurriedly went back and returned to Queen Yu Bao. This man used to be the previous Yu Xiao"s right hand but due to the latter"s vile att.i.tude, the Queen took him to serve for her and gave the diligent Ji Yuan the treatment he deserved.

Yu Zhi seemed a little annoyed after the talk and glanced at him with even more menacing eyes. "Ge!! Are you going to stand there like a statue or what? Hurry up. Don"t make mother wait like this!"

Yu Xiao, again, was oblivious to what"s about to happen and all these businesses with carriages and Queen whoever the h.e.l.l she is. He sauntered towards the door but the place outside was a hallway with turning points on both ends and no visible way out from his perspective. Walking aimlessly until he gets through the main door wasn"t a wise option, so he could only ask this man beside him or wait until Yu Zhi turned to walk and simply follow.

"Ge, if you feel like a statue today, don"t get in my way!" Yu Zhi exclaimed then walked away.

As Yu Xiao trailed after him, he carefully examined the place as he strolled along. Murals filled the walls on the hallway, brocade carpet glitters with silver edges on the ground and lamps with light blue flames illuminated the entire place. As they turned right, it was a dead-end, it looked like it because there was nothing but an empty wall. Using his index finger, Yu Zhi drew a set of invisible characters, afterward, the wall began to grow translucent from the bottom. They stepped on it and it transported them into a wide room. From the appearance of its interior, one can say that they were, in fact, inside a palace.

Yu Xiao noticed a large mirror across the room and instantly went to see his current appearance. Upon seeing the reflection in the mirror, he was straight up dumbfounded. The body he possessed was too gorgeous for this world- skin pale as snow, dark brown pupils and pinkish lips that complimented his ethereal face, long straight pitch-black hair neatly tied by a silver band, blue-colored robes with a silver-white belt, and blue sapphire necklace. Yu Xiao looked slightly older than Yu Zhi, around his early 20"s but still fairly young.

Holy s.h.i.t, look at how beautiful this man is.!!

After taking delight in his appearance, he finally remembered what"s amiss, there was no sword.

"Yu Zhi!" Yu Xiao called his younger brother for the first time as he approached him, "Do you know where my sword is?"

Yu Zhi gazed at him like he had a screw loose, "You know what? Ever since this morning you"ve been acting odd. You trailed after me instead of leaving me behind and tramping like a spoiled brat, looked around like it"s your first time being in this place, suddenly ran into a mirror and smiled like an idiot, called me by my name instead of …..nevermind. And now you can"t even remember where you usually hide your sword. By the way, where"s your fan? You"re not even fanning like crazy!! Are you sure you"re not possessed?"

The failed transmigrator was taken aback. Since he got too preoccupied with the failure in his transmigration, he overlooked the more important things. With a calm expression, he didn"t show a trace of angst and went on explaining himself.

"I.. of course, I"m not possessed. It"s just that I"m not feeling really well. Can you not say too much and just answer my question?"

"That is exactly the reason why I"m saying too much. You"re the only one who knows where your own weapon is hidden. If you"re not possessed, recite me the name of your sword?"

"...."

Well s.h.i.t!
