"Ah, yes?"Haruka sighed, "Get closer to me, Lila."
He"s calling her "Lila" again, is he mad? Lila hesitantly s.h.i.+fted closer, and Haruka pulled her onto his lap. When she recalled the scene that Sophia sent her, however, she flinched uncomfortably. While Lila neglected to bring up the topic again - it hadn"t meant she had forgiven him. Lila deliberately didn"t bring it up because she feared her reaction. When she saw that scene before her eyes, Haruka was talking so fondly with another woman on his lap it made her sick. It wasn"t even the kiss that bothered her but the sight she saw on the vide.
Since she was distracted, Lila didn"t notice Haruka"s face inches away from hers until the last second. It was too late for her to do anything, as she melted into the kiss.
"Unhh," Lila moaned. She felt her whole body tremble as his arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer to him.
"Haruka," she muttered, "Please, you"ll drive me crazy again," and once she does. She will forget it all, the wall she is trying to place between them.
"You"re avoiding me," Haruka whispered, "You"re angry after all?"
Lila didn"t know what to say; she was angry. No matter what, she had seen far too many situations like what happened a few days back before. Noticing his piercing gaze on her"s, Lila knew she could no longer hide it and nodded.
"Aizawa and I are slightly similar; that"s why I felt comfortable around her."
Similar, indeed she overheard the story from the tape. "Are you not comfortable around me?" Lila asked.
Haruka"s lips curve to a smile, "You provide me with a different sort of comfort, darling," he brushed his fingers across her lips, "You understand?"
While Lila felt flattered that he wasn"t looking at the girl in a s.e.xual manner, "I don"t want that to be the only comfort I give you," she muttered, "I want you to be natural with me like you did with her. But most times your always so uneasy. Tell me, Haruka, do you still think I"d go back to Kiryu?"
"Yes."
"Let go of me," she struggled in his arms if he"s saying that, then he clearly doesn"t believe in the feelings she has for him. It made her feel sick and helpless.
"Lila, I"m sorry. I"m just petrified. Don"t take it the wrong way."
Lila felt him tremble and paused; why is he afraid? She shows him every day how much she loves him. These days she even tells him, "I love you" frequently, and yet he"s still like this. The deep thoughts and emotions she conveyed through her songs and actions, he still doesn"t understand them. Lila thought she was being obvious about it.
Even Yori gets sick of all the PDA and insists that she"s different now. "Back then, you used to only care about music and Kiryu. But now, you won"t even divide it."
That"s probably what"s different now. For her music and Haruka have mixed into one, there"s no longer a dividing line on the matter.
..........
Lila is getting used to it, random conversations turning into them doing it. She wonders whether that was a good thing or not.
"That was very bad," Lila lied, as she tried to catch her breath.
"Bad, eh?" Haruka chuckled into her ear, "But you were screaming my name and scratching me."
This idiot. Her thoughts broke off when she discovered Haruka staring at her body, feeling self-conscious she wrapped a jacket around her. He smiled and reached over to gently kiss her lips, "Relax, I"m done for now."
For now, Lila looked at him up and down. Isn"t he tired? But he was sweating a lot, Lila reached out for the towels on the side and wiped Harukas sweat away.
He chuckled, "No need, I don"t mind."
"Y--you"ll get sick," Lila muttered.
"Not a bad idea, you could take care of me, then."
Unbelievable, he"s serious about it. Lila shook her head, as she continued to wipe the sweat away. As foolish as Haruka is, she knew the meaning behind his words. Does he want to see her more? Lila nodded, and he patted her hair before he stood up and left the bed. She watched as he walked over and pulled out a guitar from the corner, her eyes lit up. Haruka made his way back, except he sat down on the ground. Lila covered herself with the blanket and looked at him with curious eyes as he strummed a few chords. For the first few minutes, Haruka played random chords when Lila couldn"t hold back anymore. She left the bed and sat down beside him and tugged on his arm.
"What is it?"
"Say, say. Haruka, will you sing for me?" Lila asked.
Haruka smiled. "Yeah, that"s why I brought the guitar out."
Her eyes sparkled like a child at his words, really? Is he really going to sing for her?
"What would you like to listen to?"
Lila frowned, this isn"t what she had in mind.
"Haruka, didn"t you write loads of cheesy love songs for me? Why don"t you sing those?"
Haruka looked at her with a dumbfounded expression, "Hey, wait a minute. Why do you know that?"
"Oh, so you did?"
"Darling, are you trying to play games with me?"
Sensing his tone, Lila shut up and brought the covers to her face. It"s better to hide now. However, the moment she did that, Haruka removed the covers, "Lila," he said softly, "Don"t hide from me."
This is bad, just him saying her name like this drives her crazy. Lila wrapped her arms around his neck and murmured, "I think your stupid Haruka."
"Yeah."
"But the same goes for me."
"Your not stupid, your cute and intelligent."
Lila said nothing to that; she didn"t have to look at him to know he wore a sincere expression on his face.
"What"s the matter?"
"I just want to hold you tightly Haruka," Lila murmured. She wants to hold him tightly and never let him go. She loves this person so much. Since he can"t see it no matter what she does, this is all she can do.
