***"Hmm… quite a lot of numbers here" Tokaya… muttering slowly in Tenko"s ears, shivering as she"s tingling all over. She then said, "Ermm, you"re a bit… too close, K."
"Ahh, sorry."
Tenko showed her Status to Tokaya, asking for her opinion on them.
Because of how much they got from the previous battle, it is hard for them to choose which points go to where. A total of 1600 Attribute points and 48 Stat points available to be allocated. They have figured that... every 5 levels, one would get an extra 5 Stat points, and then every 10 levels, they would get 10 Stat points as a bonus.
They talked a lot about the use of [Turn Undead] being so effective against that monster, and how useful it would be if she can maneuver a bit more, especially with that armor weighing her down. They also talked about attack powers, how much can she spend to optimize it well enough while having two of the previous stats mentioned to be upgraded and aligned well with the others" Status build.
This is the result.

They also decided that, for at this moment, not to upgrade her INT stats. It is due to the optimization of the entire group so Tenko will not be able to use the [Firebolt] spell at the moment.
Anko as well, she opted to increase another stat of hers to up the damage and the effectiveness of her [Hydrosophist Spell].
Chika on the other hand increased her INT stat, she is indeed needed that badly, and yes… pun definitely intended. She is also increasing her STR and DEX so they can catch up to the rest of the group while also able to carry more things inside her backpack.
As for Tokaya, she too has allocated her all of her points.
Tenko is not feeling comfortable about the RES stat, but she upped one point to it, just to get an ease of mind.
"Shall we keep moving then?" Tokaya asked.
Chika responded, "Yes, PLeAsE. We need to find food ASAP!"
With a chuckle and the light aflame, they went onward… to the deeper part of the unknown.
…
They went further and further, holding their empty stomach. Nothing has been found and instead of going up to the surface, they keep going down and down again, at this point, they might have reached the bottomless abyss.
They slide over, a few stumbles, but the other managed to help them.
There are many minerals in the area, but they don"t have both time and energy to mine them. So, they ignored it and continue to walk ahead. Soon after, they found many more "rooms" akin to the doorless room from before.
Nothing but a bunch of silver ores lying around, and Chika couldn"t carry it all, thus making Tenko carry it for her. They took a bunch of those silvers and found many other things as well. Such as coins, gems, and a weird-looking stone. They didn"t pay much attention to it and just put all the items into the backpack without appraising them.
They found no food, not even a single drop of water.
At this rate, fear of dehydration slowly starts coming to them, but that quickly fades away with Chika around always lighting up the atmosphere.
Going even further ahead, they found it, a wall. "No way… a dead-end?!!!"
"No, calm down. The doorway is right here" said Tokaya.
"Oh."
They went inside and turn left, after that… their eyes blanked out as if they have seen a ghost… and indeed, it is a ghost.
"Welcome, Travelers."
Husky, echoing voice. A transparent and ghostly man appeared in front of them, sitting on a chair with a blue flame radiating all over his body. Only Anko is having eye contact with him while the others are completely turning into stone, afraid of what"s in front of them.
"Hehehe, don"t worry. I ain"t biting" he said.
Anko stepped forward and said, "Who are you?"
"You know what they say, you ought to introduce yourself first before asking the other"s name."
She was hesitant to say it, but then Tokaya suddenly pulled her back, "Tokaya Kinko, and you?" her fears of him quickly dissipates after seeing Anko"s quick bravery.
"…" the man paused, "I"m sure you know who I am."
Tokaya"s eyes widened, "The one who wrote the journal?"
The man nodded, "I was only a miner before that thing ate me, not that monster you girls killed, the uhh, that crawling thing. It got me."
"The Pet.i.try. So, why did you show up now?"
"… well, you managed to kill that monster, not the one that kill me, but you know, that disgusting monstrous thing. That got all the people here" his face turned sour as he plays with his fingers, "Over there, we found many things here when we got trapped by that monster. Take everything you need, it"s all useless to me now, but leave out the necklace, yeah?"
"…" mumbling her friend"s name, "Tenko."
Having her name being called, brought Tenko back to reality.
Noticing the signal she gave, Tenko went and look to the place the ghost pointed out, under a bed. Tenko doesn"t know what to do at first, but she realized what to do. She just busts it out and set it aside.
Underneath the bed, there is a large chest that is being covered by a chain.
"The key stuck behind the lock," said the ghost.
Tenko quickly took and opened it, the chest is unlocked by the same key. As she opened it, her eyes glittering in sparkles.
Anko and Chika went to join her, "Whooohoooooaaahhh!" Chika was… really excited.
Tenko notices the Necklace, she took it right away and then gave it to Tokaya after Chika appraised it.
[Hashuna"s Promised Gift] Increase LUCK by one factor.
"Take it and deliver it to my family, they live on the beach, south from Lorkhan"s dock. Can you promise me… you will deliver it to them?"
There is no guarantee that they can do it, but when Tokaya gripped the necklace tight, she replied, "Of course."
The ghost… smiled. "Thank you."
He stood and then said, "Behind this wall, is a dangerous place. You cannot go there, at least, not with the strength you girls have now. If you ever decide or wanting to explore further than this, there"s a hidden b.u.t.ton underneath the blue flame. This flame will never hurt you, that I can a.s.sure you."
Tokaya nodded, "Do you know a way to get out of this place?"
"Yes, get this chair away and just stand in the circle for a minute. It"ll teleport you back to the main chamber of the second floor inside the main gathering room. Hmm... Before I left, I have but one warning, Travelers."
"Hm?"
"Do not kill the giant."
Tokaya remembered the vision of the said giant that chases her, "But why?"
"The giant is the only thing that keeps those things in check, they came from behind this wall. I"m sure you know what I mean."
"…" after a paused, she nodded.
"Well then. Farewell, Travelers."
Tokaya… awkwardly raised her hand and then waved at the ghost.
The latter disintegrated into nothingness shortly after. Afterward, she joined the group in the happiness and joy of the richness they stumbled upon.
