Guard Commander Chan replies with
"G-G-Ghost tree? Why is it called a ghost tree?"
The King says
"Because, the tree is possessed. Well...more like, ghosts live inside them.
Ghosts, the soldiers of h.e.l.l.
A ghost from that specific tree only can...it can carry all the power. Without causing colossal damage to you, me or half a kingdom."
Guard Commander Chan replies with a spooked out tone
"But how? All of this seems unnatural and terrifying. How could a branch carry power?"
The King says
"Coward…..scared, aren"t you? Well you should be. That...that tree is incredibly dangerous. Life ruining even. But i have a plan.
We could say that...the branch is the main ingredient. But its not. All three are equally important. If any of them are missing, the other two are useless."
Guard Commander Chan replies with
"Well it sounds like both ingredients are equally dangerous as well. At one side, i can get my skin ripped off of my body by a lava controlling ten foot tall freak. At the other side i can get possessed by a ghost."
The King says
"False. The ghosts are way more dangerous...then you claimed. The tree is a part of them. Breaking one of their branches means you damaged the ghosts.
And they will take revenge if you...damage them.
Guard Commander Chan replies with the continues spooked out feeling he is having
"Revenge? What sort of R-Revenge?"

"Disastrous consequences. They could beat the life out of you, follow you and beat the life out of your loved ones, make you a part of their experiments...who knows what they doo. And indeed, they can possess you as well to do all of the above...yourself.
And if you survive all of the above, you will likely end up insane."
Guard Commander Chan replies with

"Indeed i have. If they choose to take revenge on you, even i can"t help you afterwards.
A phrase or might i call it, a sentence...gives you immunity. Recite it once, approach the tree...break a branch and just walk away.

"Indeed. And it is best if you doo it that way….alone.
Barely anyone knows about this possibility to gain magical powers.
And even those who do know, fear for their life to ever try it."

"Of course my King. As always, you are right.
And your plan seems very smart and doable.
But may i ask, what is the phrase. Or differently called "The sentence" that keeps ghosts "frozen"."
The King says
"That i do not know. But…the Calidum Lutum. They know. That race holds many secrets.

"But how do i find the secret phrase? Do you know where it is hidden?
If someone as smart as you doesn"t seem to know it. It sounds like quite an adventure to obtain it."
The King says
"I"ve been studying the Calidum Lutum race all my life...they are very good at hiding any information having to do with their race. That"s one of the ways they avoid war.
But i...i have my ways.
I have reasons to believe that the phrase... is on their gauntlets."
Guard Commander Chan replies with
"Gauntlets? I didn"t think gauntlets existed back then. I mean, they disappeared thousands of years ago. So they wrote the phrase on their gauntlets?"
The King says

They discovered many things before the rest of humanity did. Their gauntlets are unique.

"So both the first ingredient and the phrase i need to survive the second quest, are all in one creature. Well, at least this made everything easier.

The Lava controller"s heart is the balancer, director...it holds everything together.
The last and final thing we need, is of course...the source of power. Without the source. The other two are useless."

"What is the source sire? And will we be able to use the staff multiple times or just once? Because it would be a nightmare if anyone steals the staff."

"The staff...can only be used once. Every ingredient will be magically attached to you.
Meaning, even if we try the staff on anyone else. It won"t work. Since you obtained or at least... will obtain each ingredient.
