Chapter 5995: Don’t Blame Me
To her astonishment, the woman’s injuries healed perfectly in just a short time. A while ago, just running here was all that she could do.
If she couldn’t find a way to heal the injuries properly, this hut would be her resting ground. She didn’t know if she could even do it, or how long it would take.
Alas, she was full of life due to the water. Her full potential was unlocked, allowing her to recover in the blink of an eye.
Her life force could empower a single plant to grow into a thick forest in just one night. Bright circles of the life affinity hovered around her.
The water served as a panacea but its empowerment was temporary. With the wounds closed, her white skin looked like snow illuminating the night and emitting a faint fragrance. The two pistils in particular were gorgeous and captivating.
She turned red and hurriedly covered everything with her robe, removing joy from the room.
“What did you do?” Li Qiye sat back down and asked.
This random question might have confused others but she knew what he was referring to.
“We found a coffin, something unexpected when we tried to open it.” She answered honestly.
“People are greedy and try to obtain the impossible. Certain things require a steep payment, too much for most to handle.” Li Qiye smiled and closed his eyes.
The woman didn’t know whether Li Qiye was talking about her situation or something else.
“What should we do, Young n.o.ble?” She bowed and asked for advice.
“Some things are just not meant for you.” Li Qiye said: “If you want it, make sure you can handle the payment first. You’re far from the only one in this predicament.” Li Qiye rocked his chair back and forth.
“Do you know more about the coffin, Young n.o.ble?” She asked.
He didn’t answer and seemed to be asleep, causing her to let out a sigh. She looked around and knew he had been reading the books.
She glanced out the window and thought about leaving. She then placed a ring in front of him and said: “Please have a look, Young n.o.ble. I hope it is enough to pique your interest.”
He still didn’t open his eyes, prompting her to bow one last time before leaving.

Li Qiye woke up after a long time and wasn’t in a hurry to leave. He boiled water to make some more tea before reading the rest of the books.
“This is fate, ascension and destruction alike. Old man, this isn’t good karma, I hope you have enough awareness to not blame me.” Li Qiye smiled while shaking his head.
He glanced at the ring left behind and said: “Fine, time to end this connection.”
He picked it up and left the wooden hut.

After leaving the barrier, the hut was no longer seen, hidden with its secrets. Entry alone didn’t privy one to its mysteries.
This included the woman earlier because she has yet to reach the right height. Those who were strong enough but lacked pertinent information wouldn’t be able to find out the truth either.
Li Qiye left and entered Splendor City - the richest area of Sin. Its prosperity only grew with time.
Some attributed its success to Unrivalled Monarch’s wise reign while others focused on the free trade aspect. It was free from outside interference while similar cities were subjected to rules created by the powerful dynasties.
Cultivators were normally seen everywhere including emperors and desolate G.o.ds. Alas, it appeared abandoned today. Regular citizens were in hiding as well.
Something happened but none had an exact answer. One corner of the city belonging to Splendor Square exploded into nothingness.
They saw two powerful figures amidst the destruction. The shockwaves emanating from that area nearly flattened the city.
However, a mighty barrier known as Vajra Terra blocked the initial waves and protected the city. It eventually crumbled, leaving Splendor Terra exposed and damaged. Everyone thought this was an invasion started by powerful enemies of Unrivalled Monarch.
The city was started by Splendor Monarch, but it had many areas belonging to other citizens. The area truly belonging to Splendor Terra was known as Splendor Ground - a place rumored to have been dragged down here from the sky.
It was protected by the now broken barrier, serving as the home of Unrivalled Monarch and the treasury of Splendor Monarch. It was now exposed and anyone could enter to take a look at the unimaginable treasury.
It had only grown with time and efficient trading. Imperial weapons were common items; there was no lack of primal weapons as well along with ancient merit laws and artifacts.
None dared to think about them because of the monarch and numerous experts. Now, the unexpected event drew a large crowd.
