Chapter 17: Easily
Ai Hui never once thought that he had a good temper. In the Savage Territories, good temper was not needed. What one needed was the power to resist, to struggle, to bet everything on that strand of hope, even in the most desperate situations. Those with a soft personality were eliminated long ago.
Then again, talking about anger, who wouldn’t be angry if they were getting beaten up all the way until five in the morning?
Ai Hui felt as if he was a volcano that always wanted to explode, but never found his chance to. With his fullest sincerity, the blur Loulan was as hard as a tortoise’s sh.e.l.l, unable for anyone to lay their hands on. Fatty was still the best, a reason was never needed whenever he wanted to beat him.
Never would he have thought that when he wanted to nap, someone would offer him a pillow and when he wanted to beat someone, someone would offer him a sandbag.
Ai Hui narrowed his swollen, bruised eyes. A piercing cold bloodl.u.s.t surged within his purple bruised body. He casually tossed the things in his hands to the ground. If he broke the things he had spent money to purchase, then it wasn’t worth it.
Seeing that the other party was unexpectedly moving towards him, the fury in his heart intensified even further. He could only endure it after losing to Duanmu Huanghun, but now even a random person on the street was daring to challenge him. How could he not be angry?
An evil grin spread across his entire face was he grabbed over towards Ai Hui, his palm whooshing with a densely covered red colored flame.
The red colored flame was like an unceasingly flickering tongue of fire. The surrounding’s temperature suddenly rose and the center of his right hand flashed. Zhao Zibao was extremely pleased. Earlier, he did not have the time to activate his elemental energy and was just knocked down by Duanmu Huanghun, then was humiliatingly trampled on for a full five minutes. Now that this flame was conjured, his ravaged self-confidence once again returned back to him, that was how powerful he believed he was.
Losing to Duanmu Huanghun earlier was due to his carelessness. Right, it must be like that. If he had activated his elemental energy earlier, victory or defeat was unknown.
Through the flame, the other party’s figure was twisted and tiny, just like the innumerable number of opponents he had once defeated.
If you want something to blame, blame the fact that your luck isn’t good.
Zhao Zibao gave an explosive shout and took a standard step forward. The red colored flame in his right hand seemed as though it had been pulled at by a formless hand. The tongue of fire fluctuated irregularly, and two streaks of flame tongue unfurled like wings. A high pitched cry of a crow sounded from within the flame, and it seemed as if a fiery crow had spread its wings.
Zhao Zibao was wildly ecstatic.
Cold Hot Crow Wing was an interchangeable water and fire type move. Zhao Zibao was of the fire attribute, so it was only natural for him to practice the Fire Crow. The first move he learned after opening the right hand hall was exactly the Fire Crow, and the transformation came easily to him. However, the transformation was only the first stage of this move, and the crow cry was the second stage of this realm. Elemental energy resonated with it, and the power of this move also suddenly increased greatly.
Zhao Zibao never thought that he would somewhat breakthrough at such a time. It was such a pity that the opponent of such a glorious move was just a nameless n.o.body. Thinking about how he did not use this move at Duanmu Huanghun earlier, his heart brimmed with regret.
Ai Hui was indifferent.
Cold Hot Crow Wing was very commonly seen move, and it didn’t deserve to be made a big deal out of. As for the crow cry, being able to achieve it at that age was indeed not easy, but that was all.
In the instant Zhao Zibao took a rushing step forward, Ai Hui’s eyes suddenly flashed with a streak of cold light.
At nearly the same time, he brazenly charged at the other party.
Ai Hui’s actions caused Zhao Zibao to be somewhat surprised. He’d never thought that the other party would not avoid it, and instead charge at him. Was his brain abnormal? But since the other party was looking to court death, he obviously would not hold back.
As the distance between the two quickly pulled closer, Zhao Zibao became even more and more excited. His eyes opened extremely wide, and a nasty grin spread across his face as he prepared to raise his right palm. I’ll let you taste what a one hit KO is like.
Just as he saw that his opponent was about to meet his right palm, Ai Hui’s figure suddenly sped by, making Zhao Zibao’s aura go into confusion.
This pa.s.sing from the opponent made him feel indescribably uncomfortable. If it was later by a bit, he could ignore it and just increase the speed of his palm. If it was a bit earlier, he could adapt to it. But the opponent’s motion just happened to not be too earlier nor too late, making him feel stuck inbetween and feel like spitting out blood.
The other party was extremely close, so it was too late for Zhao Zibao to swap moves. He could only forcibly twist his wrist and transform his palm into a sweeping chop towards Ai Hui.
Wait, where’d he go?
His eyes suddenly opened into round circles, as if he had seen a ghost. The other party had actually disappeared without a trace from his vision.
What happened?
Pain suddenly shot through from Zhao Zibao’s right rib, and the intense pain immediately spread through his entire body. He froze in place. How could this be…
His brain blanked out. It was not known whether it was the intense pain or the intense shock he had received that made his brain lose its thinking ability.
After Ai Hui sped by, he bent over to jab at Zhao Zibao’s right rib. He didn’t even use elemental energy in that strike. This location’s nerves were crowded together, once it met a powerful blow, it was enough to make the other party lose conscious for a short time.
Ai Hui, whose strike had succeeded, seized the opportunity to pivot. Elemental energy poured into the soles of his feet as a silver light flashed and faded. Attached on his back was the silent Zhao Zibao’s chest.
With the other party’s chest snug on his back, Ai Hui arched like a tightened spring that had been released, as a powerful force suddenly burst forth. It was as if Zhao Zibao had been rammed in the chest by a wildly running rhinoceros.
Along with a muted thud, Zhao Zibao drew a high parabola in the sky before landing upside down.
Zhao Zibao heavily smashed onto the ground, and at the same time, Ai Hui closely followed towards where Zhao Zibao was currently at like a ghost. Without the least bit of hesitation nor thought of stopping, Ai Hui pressed his right knee against the opponent’s lower back. His right hand grabbed the opponent’s head, while his right hand seized the bamboo stick lying to the side on the floor. Then, he pierced the back of Zhao Zibao neck.
Forget about a sharp bamboo skewer, even if it were chopsticks several times more thicker, he could still effortlessly impale a wild animal’s throat.
The entire process came very naturally and was as fast as lightning.
The instant the bamboo stick was about to pierce through the skin on Zhao Zibao’s neck, Ai Hui suddenly came to his senses. This isn’t the Savage Territories. He forcibly stopped the bamboo stick, and a needle sized red dot appeared on the back of Zhao Zibao’s nape as a drop of blood slowly seeped out.
The completely thrown stupid Zhao Zibao did not know that had made a round trip through the gates of h.e.l.l and back.
This isn’t the Savage Territories.
Ai Hui’s eyes were deeply calm as he reminded himself once again. Then, he easily stabbed the bamboo stick into Zhao Zibao’s b.u.t.t. It’s fine as long as it won’t kill him.
“AHH.”
Zhao Zibao let out a miserable shriek. But in the next second, his scream suddenly stopped.
Ai Hui withdrew his palm from the back of Zhao Zibao’s neck. He took no pleasure nor was he excited in beating this kind of opponent. The attack was only flashy, the opponent completely did not have any idea of what timing was, and he was even distracted in combat. This kind of amateur behavior made Ai Hui lose interest.
Due to his fine occupation habits, Ai Hui did not forget to take in spoils of war.
The pitiful Zhao Zibao was completely stripped cleanly. Not even a piece of anything could be let go, that had long since become Ai Hui’s instinct.
Taking in twenty thousand greatly improved Ai Hui’s mood. The other party’s clothing were also of good material. Without saying anything further, Ai Hui also dressed himself.
After picking up the things on the ground once more, Ai Hui casually walked toward the city gates.
Duanmu Huanghun, who was unwilling to give up, picked a relatively high terrain to stand on near the city gates and resumed his waiting plan. It wasn’t known where another candied fruit skewer came from, but he calmly ate it.
If he wasn’t in the city, could he be outside?
After beating up Zhao Zibao for a while, Duanmu Huanghun felt like he had calmed down quite a bit. This place was unavoidable if one wanted to enter the city.
Not too far from here, there were still the scorching gazes from the young ladies. Suddenly, they all clamored.
“Quick, check out Zhao Zibao.”
“So sad, his face and body all changed shape.”
“Serves him right. To have challenged our Huanghun, this can be considered as light…”
Duanmu Huanghun took a glance, then retrieved it. He had no interest in a defeated opponent. During the whole time, he didn’t even take a single direct look at his opponent. He was not interested in how Zhao Zibao looked, as for his current swollen appearance, he was even more uninterested.
Ai Hui, who had noticed Duanmu Huanghun, also shot a glance and then retrieved it. Didn’t go to cla.s.s, didn’t cultivate, and instead came here to eat candied fruit skewers, this spoiled son of a rich family sure has strange hobbies.
He had also heard the chattering of those women. Zhao Zibao? He didn’t know who that was.
Since it didn’t have anything to do with him, Ai Hui immediately ignored it, and minded his own business as he headed in the direction of the Metal Suspending PaG.o.da.
