Leaning back on his chair, Akiyama was angrily whining, then wanting a shoulder ma.s.sage in compensation for his lack of sleep.

"Director Akiyama, at Ten o"clock in the morning you have a meeting and then in the afternoon..."

He waved his hand feebly and said "Can you not talk about business today?" Seeing his "about to die" expression she kept quiet.

"Then, what do you want to talk about?"

He thought for a moment before saying

"Or...we can go out to play?"

Considering he was in no condition to work and he was her superior, it was her job to follow his orders.

In the end he decided on going to the amus.e.m.e.nt park.

"I have heard that in the TV dramas boyfriends and girlfriends usually go to the amus.e.m.e.nt park" he told her smiling.

"I am a married woman" she reminded him shooting him down.

Before going to the amus.e.m.e.nt park, he decided to go to the mall first to buy some casual clothes, as office attire would most probably scare other people.

Following the princ.i.p.al of seniority, she accompanied him to buy a set of t-shirt, jeans, sneakers and a cap. He had persistently tried to push her to change into different clothes but she stubbornly refused. In the end he gave up on trying and made their way to the amus.e.m.e.nt park.

At this moment Akiyama was running towards her with a huge grin plastered on his face. His spirit was so high it looked like nothing in this world could dampen his mood. This contrasted a lot compared to his gloomy mood this morning.

She stood at the side as he the big 21 year old man played in the park like an elementary school student. Had she not known any better, she would have mistaken him for a mentally impaired individual.

Come to think of it other than their honeymoon, Madara has never gone out with her.

Due to her overzealous superior, they had been in the park until it could almost be considered as the parks closing time. Jumping down from the ferris wheel Akiyama laughed and asked "What should we eat?"

Oh, that reminded her. "I have to go back and cook, what time is it?" She said as he fished his phone out of hisĀ  pocket.

"Five forty...it"s not time for dinner yet. Why don"t you call him and tell him that you will be a little late today" Akiyama said disdainfully.

"No, you enjoy yourself I need to call Madara" she checked the pocket of her skirt to find it missing. Did it fall out of her pocket while she was walking?

Seeing how she was not listening to him and fumbling with her pockets, he asked

"What happened?"

"I think I lost my phone" she sighed. How was she going to contact Madara, she does not even remember her mothers contact, how could she remember his?

Akiyama patted her shoulder and in a encouraging tone said "Lost is lost. I am sure no one will fight with their spouse over a mere dinner"

Although Madara promised to not bring up the topic of separation, she still should not miss preparing dinner moreover it was in their contract. Akiyama ruefully decided to send her home, it was dark and the park was far from home so she did not refute him this time.

It took about 2 hours to get home due to traffic, she stepped out of the car and slightly nodded her head to Akiyama. At this point, Madara was carrying a bag of some sort, walking towards the main entrance from the other side, just like her. He looked at her.

Akiyama stepped out of his car, walking up to her he handed her a paper bag, and smiled

"Your bag"

She took it and thanked him. In return he thanked her for her services pointing a tooth bearing smirk at her. She glared at him while Madara blankly looked them both up and down.

"Come on" wrinkling his eyebrows, Madara took her by the wrist taking her upstairs.

Madara took her to the living room, threw his bag on the coffee table and then her on the couch. She was vexed. He did not even let her explain herself before frowning, sharply saying "I don"t mind if you hook up with anyone but why is it him?"

*ML is lying lmao, he minds it.

She would be lying if she said she did not feel disappointed he would think that of her.

Dissatisfied with his statement and actions she told him coldly "I have no relationship with Akiyama," except for the relationship between an employee and employer.

He wanted to know why she left her office without uttering a single word to him. She should have plenty of time to call him, even if she did not call she could have at least picked up her phone when he rang.

"My phone is missing" she said apathetically.

"I"ll excuse myself" she added and walked off to prepare dinner. If they remained in the same room any longer at the moment they would only argue.

When she left his eyes stopped on the bag left on the coffee table. He stood up from his spot and peered inside. He was stunned and didn"t know what to think.

Inside the paper bag were a few short cakes, attached were small sticky notes attached to each short cake, of the five cakes two had her name and three had his. In addition to the short cakes, she seemed to have two key accessories that seemed similar, only one was silver and the other gold. It was a very simple accessory, but both had two miniature characters, male and female, holding hands attached.

It seemed while she had tagged along with that b.a.s.t.a.r.d to what he a.s.sumed was the amus.e.m.e.nt park, looking at the small logo printed on the bag, she had thought of him. Otherwise she would not have bothered to buy two of the same key rings and the cakes.

He was inwardly very happy, the flavours she chose for him were all ones he liked too. Knowing her she would be discontent if he touched the paper bag, thus he helped set up their dinner, pretending he did not look inside the bag.
