I would prove it wrong by trying to escape. Only then will they see that there"s no way....
It"s been two days since I got my new goal. I can tell that Vira is still here, but they haven"t said another word since our last conversation.
But to be honest I don"t really want to talk to them anyways. I mean, what would I say, "You were mostly right when you insulted me earlier, so I decided to prove you wrong and maybe accidentally prove you right too."
Yeah, not happening.
But apart from that, I"ve been super busy these couple of days. All of it"s in preparation for my first attempt.
... That was a lie.
In reality, there"s nothing for me to work with.
What supplies are there for me to gather? What preparations can I make?
I, quite literally, have nothing.
So with limited options, I decided on what my first attempt would be.
Run.
Rather simple really.
I don"t have much hope for this one, but I think that"s the point. My whole point is that there"s no hope.
... Honestly, I wonder if I"m just being stubborn.
... Whatever. I"m not stopping now.
...
I"m sitting here, just waiting.
At this point in time I"m really bored. But I"ve rarely not been bored, so...
Ah!Someone"s here.
With the loud rhythm of his feet echoing down the stone halls, the bored looking guard opens my door and glances at me with undisguised distain.
He says some words that are probably insults and waves for me to get up.
With my heart pumping, I slowly walk towards the door. I can barely walk straight, I"m so nervous...And sore.
I"m still really, really sore.
I don"t have much of a chance with my body being as pained as it now.But what choice do I have now?
I could give up and stop this pointlessness. Stop while I"m safe and alive.
But no.
I know I will never forgive myself if I give up.
So I walk through door and before the guard can grab my arms, I bolt.
