Mirror (Adrian), Pool (Maria), and Loop (Marcy) all went towards the forest. The average level now was 5, and so he made them all that level. They would have to earn experience to be higher level, though.

Mirror was a Light Elementalist, Pool was a Priest, and Loop was a Paladin. They all could cast healing spells, but Pool could cast advanced ones. Mirror and Loop could both cast protective barriers. This allowed them to stay inside the fights longer as they didn"t have to constantly spam spells as much.

Of course, they also had emergency healing potions for when Loop"s health fell especially low. Mirror would cast constant magic bombardments on the enemies, which helped quite a bit. They all went to the Dark Forest. The Dark Forest was filled with the undead, and, since the undead were weak to light magic, they were grinding relatively quickly.

However, they ran into something only Mirror expected.

----

Race: Mortal Lich

Lvl: 10

HP: 10,000

Spells:

Summon Undead, Corpse Explosion, Corpse Puppet...

----

It was the Mortal Lich, a Boss that sp.a.w.ns after you have killed large quant.i.ties of undead. Mirror, Pool, and Loop didn"t look phased as the Boss roared in anger. Mirror whispered to them, "As long as you don"t kill the Boss, it will continue to summon undead..."

Pool and Loop"s eyes flashed with greed. This Boss was going to be their exp farm. Loop readied her shield and went for a Dash, stunning the Boss momentarily. Pool cast Reflect on her and then cast Regeneration.

Mirror didn"t waste any time as he bombarded the Boss with countless Magic Missiles. The Boss"s HP dropped to 75%, causing the Boss to roar and start casting a spell.

"Don"t injure it any more! Keep it at roughly 75% or it won"t cast anymore!"

Soon, numerous undead started to appear, but the Lich continuously cast the spell, causing a large horde to appear. Loop didn"t have to hold the Boss anymore, as it had retreated several steps to start casting.

Pool cast the spell called Hot Hands and it made all the monsters that went towards Mirror to rush to Loop. It was an aggro spell that helped fix mistakes, though, it only had a time limit for the excessive aggro generation.

Using this as a go ahead, Mirror unleashed all of his most powerful spells onto the undead, not worrying about generating aggro suddenly. Pool yelled, "Aggro"s about to run out!"

Mirror cut back on his spells, then, the monsters didn"t look as focused on Loop anymore. Despite the focus dimming on Loop, it was still mainly there. About two thirds of the entire horde had been wiped.

Mirror noticed that Loop"s health was getting quite low, and so he decided to start casting healing spells. He looked down and saw that his mana was running low as well, and cast a mana regen and drank several potions. After the mana regen spell ran out, he started casting once more.

This process repeated and lasted hours until the decided that, at level 15, way ahead of the other players, that they want to stop for the day. They quickly killed the Boss and took a break.

. . .

They arrived back at the town and decided to stock back up on items. Mirror was given all the drops and equipment. He went around and upgraded their gear, risking several upgrade crystals on high leveled equipment they couldn"t use yet.

He sold the low leveled equipment onto the auction house and walked away. He gave them level fifteen equipment and they all logged off. They were mentally exhausted and even Mirror wanted to sleep.

He opened his eyes and saw Marcy and Maria get out of their pods and go to take a walk. They promised that they will exercise after playing the game to keep their bodies healthy. The gaming pod gave them nutrients and let them sleep while playing. It even sent small electric shocks through the body so it doesn"t decay over time.

Basically, someone would be immortal when playing unless their body was purposefully damaged. The pod would flash a red bar across the screen saying "Body is taking damage!" when something happens.

Adrian sunk into his chair with a deep sigh. He was starting to get stressed again and decided that he was going to get some sleep. Maybe one of his friends can help him get set up with a therapist.
