Naga sat down on a stone chair near the fountain. He doesn"t have anything to do now and just killing time.He frowned when he remembered that he wanted to know to what gang the three men who blocked his path before belonged to but due to the recent events, people didn"t care or even talk about them.
"Lowly b.a.s.t.a.r.ds." He thought.
He also remembered that this celebration is for the former commander general"s birthday but he didn"t see neither the general, his soldiers nor any military men around.
"Well perhaps there"s a different hall or room for them." Naga thought and chuckled.
He stood up and decided to leave before he start remembering some other random things again.
He wanted to look for Bill to say goodbye when suddenly someone approached him.
"Good evening, Naga." A beautiful young woman greeted him.
"Oh, Hi." Naga looked at her and smiled. It was the same woman who tried to spy on him at the hotel.
"Are you also working here?" Naga asked.
"Can I invite you for a talk?" She asked.
"Why?" Naga asked. The woman just looked at him.
He walked and entered a pavilion then sat down on one of the chairs. "Have a seat."
The young woman sat down. Naga looked at her. He offered her a sweet bread from his pocket but she declined.
Naga started eating the bead. "What do you want?" He asked.
"We want your cooperation. We want something from the mansion. If you help us in getting it, we will give you our support." The young woman said.
Naga looked at her and frowned. "What"s your name?"
"Yuna." She said.
"Yuna, how confident are you that I won"t report this to the mansion?" Naga asked.
"I"m quite confident. Actually, you don"t care about us or anyone from this city." Yuna looked at Naga.
"Well... I care for someone so you"re wrong. However, yes, I won"t waste time reporting you." Naga is still eating his sweet bread. He"s so satisfied with this bread that his mood was greatly improved.
Yuna was shocked. This was out of her expectation. "He cares for someone here?"
"What do you want from the city lord"s mansion?" Naga asked.
"Eye of The Great Serpent. A gem." Yuna honestly said.
"Never heard. This gem... Is it important to the city lord? It sounds evil."
"No. But they know that it"s a treasure." Yuna responded.
"I see. Why do you want it?" Naga stopped eating and asked.
"It"s important to our group. I belong to the Cult of The Moon Eater." Yuna looked at Naga.
"Cult? For a young woman... Scary." Naga thought and chuckled.
"After getting the gem, what"s your plan?" He asked.
"We"ll leave the city. It"s the only thing that we need here." Yuna is still calm.
She wants this cooperation to work. They tried to buy it before but was declined. They tried to send someone for a trade but was declined too. Other methods didn"t work as well. They even tried to kidnap Bella but it failed due to Naga.
She was there that night. She believed that Naga let her escape. He said that only four followed Bella but actually there were five.
She knew that it was the second warning and it won"t be warning anymore next time.
"I see. What will you give the city in return?" Naga asked.
Yuna frowned. "The city?"
"Hey. I told you... I care for someone here. Also, our young lord Willard wanted to help this city so I won"t let them not getting any in return." Naga smiled.
"You don"t act like a servant. I can feel that he"s not your master." Yuna said.
Naga didn"t respond. "She"s so serious about this transaction." He chuckled.
"We can trade for it. Treasures and Information. We"ll support you moving forward too." Yuna stood up and walked outside the pavilion.
"Cult of The Moon Eater, huh? I think they"ll do something evil. Well, I"ll be a gangster so some people will view me as evil too." Naga thought to himself.
Naga believed that their group will focus their foundation in this city. So having more support and less enemy are favorable to them.
The Cult may do something evil but at least it won"t be in this city. Also, he"s not even sure yet if it is really evil or not.
Naga looked at the leaving Yuna and said, "I"ll think about it."
"Thank you." Yuna replied. She was satisfied of this outcome.
When the Profound Great Tiger Alliance asked help from the council, they a.s.signed Yuna and her master to be involved directly. She told her master about her plan of talking to Naga since she believed that the House Of Iron Crow can"t be messed with.
Naga went back to the hall. He sat on one of the chairs. He"s just killing time again.
"Who"s that woman?" Bella approached him and sat down too.
"A friend." Naga looked at her and smiled.
Bella smiled back at him. "I see."
"Lord Willard went to the city lord"s office with my sister and the commander of the guards. The weapons and armors created by the respected orc are great. They have a request to the young lord too." She said.
"Good to know that the city was satisfied." Naga smiled.
He continued, "But the party is not yet over, they should talk about it some other time."
"I think this one is urgent but I don"t know any detail about it." Bella lightly shaked her head.
Naga nodded but didn"t respond.
"Well, I"ll go now. Please tell Lord Willard that his humble servant is too tired now. See you around young miss." Naga stood up and smiled at Bella.
"You really don"t act your part as a servant." Bella looked at him. She was a bit disappointed that Naga will already leave.
Naga went outside the hall and told the guard that he will leave now.
"Are you not going to wait for our young lord, head servant?" The guard frowned.
"I"m tired already. That hall is not for a commoner like me, you see?" Naga smiled and walked outside the gate.
"The head servant is really weird. Also, the young lord and everyone in the great house is letting him do whatever he wanted to do." The guard thought to himself.
