Upon arriving at the lowestlevel, I could see the entire room’s appearance. Up to that time, even thoughthe walls on the room’s side were glowing, the center of the room was dark, so Icouldn’t figure out what laid in it. However, when we arrived at the lowestlevel, thanks to the floor that gave off the same pale light as the walls, Icould see that this room was part.i.tioned with walls of cloth, similar to thekind that could be found on construction sites. I was curious about the huge part.i.tioningscreen, but the fact that there was a wooden house, like what you can find inthe forest, inside this metallic room, how should I put this, it was like a visualgag. Perhaps this house was the living s.p.a.ce (also a laboratory?) of theMaxwell house, the possessor of this dungeon. Ludwin moved ahead of us andknocked at the door.
