"Anna, please decide quickly. I"m getting exhausted." Lillian cried for help. For the past three hours, Anna spent her time surveying the stores and checking on those sales discounts available. She dragged Lillian all over to every single shop.
"The Central Mall" is large and is said to contain 800 showrooms including all and 647 shops dedicated specifically for clothing lines. Anna had so far covered only 78 shops. Lillian Grey got tired from all the walking. Despite, the browsing, Anna still hadn"t bought anything significant except for a floral pink Hawaiian shirt.
"We"re not even close to ending this. Come on, Lilly. We can do this. I smell discount sale right around the corner." Anna encouraged; still looked hyper and her eyes gawking like an eagle upon its prey. In this case, it"s a discount sale.
"Anna, I"ll give you my pocket money too. Just pick the stuff you love and then we can leave." Lillian appealed.
Anna denied, still drawing Lillian to their next shop.
They spent the next hour on the third floor. This time Anna did decide to buy a summer dress. It was a beautiful crimson red solid shift summer dress. It fitted Anna perfectly. Lillian got relieved thinking that the girl would finally stop. But, she had the unexpected coming forth.
Anna still had a few dollars left to spend. She decided to buy another dress.
"Where you do even get this much money?" Lillian charged.
"Savings, Lilly. I saved like a maniac. Plus, my mother gave me extra money to spend the weekend with you. We will have to find you a dress too." Anna responded.
"No, I don"t need a dress." Lillian rejected the idea.
Shopping for Anna itself took them several hours. If they include Lillian then, Anna would sure stay back until they close the entire mall.
"No, you do need a dress. I know your size, so don"t worry. I haven"t stumbled upon a dress that suits you. We"ll keep searching." Anna replied.
The girls went on to the fourth floor. All of Lillian"s begging failed. She needs to come up with another plan. Just as they were entering the fourth floor, Lillian"s eyes caught a familiar figure. She halted on the spot.
...
"Anna, honey" Lillian called out.
Anna turned to face her friend. Lillian hissed a little twitching her legs, quivering. Anna"s face dropped noticing the legs trembling with uneasiness.
"Are you serious?" Anna"s face widened in serious.
"If you don"t leave me right now-"Lillian warned.
Before she could finish her sentence, Anna barged in-
"Please don"t take a leak here. Go now," Anna rushed Lillian to leave the area immediately.
"Call me once it"s over. We"ll meet up then."
"Now, run-- wait, don"t run, walk to the nearby restroom. Do you want me to accompany you?" Anna asked.
"No, no- you go on. I"ll catch up." Lillian turned away with her greatest acting performance ever.
She escaped from Anna"s shopping adventures. Anna waited until Lillian"s vision faded and then walked away.
…
Lillian Grey throbbed from the escape. She looked around to confirm for Anna"s presence. Quickly, she retraced the path they were on previously, checking to verify for Anna"s presence. Once did the confirmation, Lillian hunt down around the area. Oddly, very soon enough, she found the familiar figure standing inside the café shop. Lillian found the person and went to approach them directly. She didn"t even hesitate for a second. Either that or her body moved on its own without her permission.
"Hey" Lillian called.
The person turned around to see Lillian"s face and froze at sight. It is Giselle.
Seeing Giselle froze for a second, Lillian didn"t move either. She stood next to her just gazing down at her face.
...
"Hmm-"
"I did miss entertaining myself by watching this face."
Lillian thought.
"s.h.i.t" – Lillian snapped out of her dramatic mind.
...
"Hey" Lillian called again.
Giselle unfroze from her shock and started looking around weirdly as if she"s trying to check for someone. Her eyes would often land of Lillian before shunting.
Meanwhile, Lillian took the empty seat in front of Giselle. She looked over at Giselle"s order:
"A mocha cappuccino and a blueberry m.u.f.fin."
Lillian eyed the blueberry m.u.f.fin with thirst, almost wanting to s.n.a.t.c.h it away and eat it. She would do it if it were Anna and Diego. But, it isn"t them, so Lillian had to control herself from the blueberry m.u.f.fin.
Giselle"s wandering eyes settled, eventually when she clarified that there"s no one stalking upon her. She is now facing Lillian Grey who took over the empty seat in front of her. Her heart raced secretly; almost wanting to enjoy this moment but her consciousness didn"t allow it. She is facing reality now and so, has to act accordingly. Without expressing her hidden happiness, Giselle spoke first.
"What are you doing here?" Giselle asked.
