Anna came out from her refreshing shower and noticed Lillian happily smiling, looking at her phone."What are you so smiling for?" Anna asked.
Busy Lillian sent a final text and placed the phone aside and saw Anna in her nightwear dress and wet hair.
"Your hair is drenched. Come here, I"ll help you blow-dry," Lillian asked Anna to sit down for a free service.
Anna obeyed. She still asked Lillian, the reason for her happy smiling face a few seconds ago.
"Nothing serious, Giselle told me that I"m cursed to get caught repeatedly during Mr. Seth"s cla.s.s. It"s funny how she can come up with such weird theories."
"I will side with her on this though you are unlucky in his cla.s.s."
"I don"t think I"m cursed, Anna."
"What the h.e.l.l was wrong with you?"
Anna infuriated.
"Thank G.o.d for the trip. If not for it, you would have gotten into another round of detention. You are truly an idiot."
Anna screamed. It appeared that Lillian grasped her hair too hard from Anna"s remark.
"Don"t take revenge on me," Anna shrieked from the pain.
"Then don"t say stuff that provokes me," Lillian replied.
"You were smiling when Giselle said it! It"s unfair."
"What?"
"You became obsessed with her, Lilly!"
"You were roaming with her the entire week, and it is not enough?"
"You keep texting her."
Anna yelled at her friend.
"We just became friends technically we need more time to-"
"To what, Ms. Grey?" Anna charged.
"-Nothing, Madam."
Lillian admitted her defeat.
"I agreed to do this sleepover mainly for this," Anna revealed.
Lillian dazed at her friend.
"What"s going on with you two?"
"Who?"
"Don"t act like you don"t see it."
"I don"t know what you"re talking about."
"About you and Giselle."
"What about us?"
"You appear closer to her than with us."
"I don"t think so."
"That"s because you haven"t realized it, yet dummy."
"What?"
"You look like someone who"s freshly falling in love."
"I can"t believe you"re saying this Ann"
Anna didn"t let her finish.
"Entire last week you guys hung out after school."
"That"s-"
"Where did you two go?"
"Restaurants? On a date?"
"What? Silly, Anna!"
"Tell me. Now."
"We just went to the libraries to read some books."
Anna looked stumped.
"What? Library?"
Anna fell on her bed from the shock.
"So, you both went to the libraries every day?"
"Yes, I asked her if it"s okay, and she agreed."
"Of course, she would, She was in love with you idiot!" – Anna thought.
"I can"t believe she agreed to it!"
"Woah, she must be something."
"What are you ranting on yourself?" Lillian spanked her.
"I"m worried about you two, especially you."
"Why?"
"Despite, you warning people to stay away from Giselle, there are still some who tease you at school."
"What? Who is it?"
"Now, calm down and listen to me, Lilly."
Anna pleased.
"I am calm,"
"You"re not. Tell me this, what do you think about your relationship with Giselle?"
"We are good friends."
"Are you sure? Because it doesn"t look like that to me. Now, I get that you wanted to protect her and everything, but you should know she loves you, I mean loved you. Do you truly think it is good to be with her, spending time together? You, out of all people, know that it might trigger her feelings for you."
Lillian remained silent.
"How come you are silent now? You won"t know when feelings would change Lilly. I"m trying here to make you realize what you"re doing. No one can say a word because they are scared of you getting angry. I"m no one I"m looking out for you."
"You are in that age where anything can happen. Tell me honestly what you think about Giselle? Are you developing a feeling for her without realizing yourself?"
"I"m not."
"We are only friends. Look, I understand you and Diego wanted to tell me that. Yes, she confessed her love to me. That doesn"t mean that we can only be lovers."
"How do you know that for sure?"
"Because she told me herself."
"What?"
"Do you think I"m an idiot to just play with her without figuring out how she might feel hanging out with me?"
"Yeah, wait- what did she say?"
"She told me that she wanted to cherish our friendship and, not ruin it!"
"When her views changed like that, how can I not support it?"
"Plus, she has never tried to misbehave with me."
"Giselle, I find her interesting. She"s calm and very gentle yet strong, though she never shows it out. I want her to become stronger and face herself, fighting for her truth."
"More than that, I find her company to be peaceful. Do you know that we don"t even talk when we"re in the library? We just read books and back on our way home, we"ll discuss it. I"m enjoying the times I"m spending with her. More like, I love the peace between us. It"s like we don"t have to talk much to establish our views."
"She tolerates me way gentler than you two," Lillian announced.
"Yeah, Yeah."
"Why don"t you go out with her? You guys would make a perfect couple already!" Anna fumed violently.
"I know, right?"
When Lillian played alone, she collapsed on her bed, instantly starting a pillow fight. Their sleepover ended great with Anna finalizing that Giselle and Lillian are genuinely good friends.
