Chapter 2651: Red Berry
“Hm —”
Ling Hao burst into tears, and w.a.n.g Zhi sobbed.
“Who… Who says I’m dead?!”
All of a sudden!
They heard an angry roar.
What?!
They turned around and stared at Cheng Fang.
He wasn’t dead!
Yes, Cheng Fang was alive.
Next to him was a pool of purplish blood.
He was pale and weak, but his eyes were wide open as he beamed at his friends.
“Cheng Fang, you’re alive!” Ling Hao slapped Cheng Fang on the chest.
Cheng Fang coughed.
The venom hadn’t killed him, but Cheng Fang’s smack almost made him choke.
“Sorry, buddy. I didn’t mean to! I was just too excited!” Ling Hao scrambled to give Cheng Fang a hand. “How are you doing? Feeling better?”
Cheng Fang was finally breathing normally, and he shook his head at Ling Hao. “You almost knocked the air out of me.”
...
Seeing that Cheng Fang was in better shape, Ling Hao held Cheng Fang’s other wrist that hadn’t been cut open and checked his pulse.
“Wait a minute!”
w.a.n.g Zhi cried out and stared at Feng Wu in amazement.
“The venom is leaving his system!”
Feng Wu nodded. “Yup.”
Huo Shan was still bleeding Cheng Fang while Feng Wu wiped her dagger.
w.a.n.g Zhi said, “The venom reached his brain, heart, and lungs, but it’s now gone!”
Feng Wu nodded. “Yup.”
Ling Hao and the others kept looking back and forth between Feng Wu and w.a.n.g Zhi.
What was going on?
Did Feng Wu really save Cheng Fang?
Ling Hao and Shao Xiao looked at each other in disbelief.
They were so excited that they covered their mouths.
If that was true, Ling Hao could have gotten Cheng Fang killed when he stopped Feng Wu from treating him.
Ling Hao stared at Feng Wu.
Feng Wu nodded at Cheng Fang. “The venom is almost out of your system. Don’t worry. You’ll live.”
Cheng Fang wanted to cry. “Really? I will?!”
He was going to live!
He was going to see tomorrow’s sun!
Cheng Fang didn’t know how to express his grat.i.tude toward Feng Wu.
The others felt the same.
Shao Xiao said excitedly, “Thank you, Feng Wu! We wouldn’t know what to do without you.”
Feng Wu casually said, “Don’t worry about it.”
w.a.n.g Zhi asked curiously, “Can bleeding him flush out the venom?”
Feng Wu shook her head. “I fed him that red berry before I bled him.”
w.a.n.g Zhi asked, “What’s that red berry?”
Feng Wu pointed at a tree a few steps away.
Small red berries were dangling on the branches.
w.a.n.g Zhi asked, “How did you know they could treat the venom?”
Feng Wu glanced at him. “Do you see any plants in a 1km radius?”
w.a.n.g Zhi shook his head.
Feng Wu said, “Nothing else has survived around the python’s cave. However, this tree is flouris.h.i.+ng. Don’t you think that’s strange?”
w.a.n.g Zhi’s eyes lit up.
