Chapter 1117: I’ll Tell Luo That You Don’t Want to Eat Because You Just Broke Up With Your Girlfriend
He didn’t know why he used that extreme method yesterday. Perhaps, jealousy disabled him from thinking. He had always been a calm person, but yesterday, he lost control. However, he never thought about breaking up with her. He wouldn’t break up with her, unless she had really slept with s.h.i.+ Xiang. Perhaps, that was how it felt when someone liked another person. The words ‘break up’ were too heavy to be mentioned.
Yan Su might be right.
He was too sensitive now. Every time he saw her, he’d recall everything that happened yesterday, and that would make him feel like he was being eaten by a million ants from the inside.
…
That night, he went back to Mo Jin’s place. It was dark in the house when he arrived at dusk. He called Mo Jin but she was somewhere noisy.
“Where are you? I’m back in the villa. Why aren’t you here?”
Mo Jin was surprised. “You’re back there? Why? I thought you’ve forgotten about your old mother.”
Mo Liuxi was speechless.
“I’m in Switzerland, filming a short video. Your father insisted on coming along to a.s.sist me,” said Mo Jin. “Go and have dinner at your sister’s.”
“No need, I’ll get something to eat myself.” Mo Liuxi hung up the phone in a low spirit. He went into his room, laid on the bed and fell asleep. He was so drunk last night that he was still hungover. He slept until someone lifted his quilt.
He angrily opened his eyes and saw a dark figure standing by his bed. The light was off so the dim light from the outside shone on the figure. He recognized Nian Junting’s face. He looked creepy that way.
“What?” Mo Liuxi unhappily turned on the lamp.
“Your sister sent me to invite you to dinner.” Nian Junting threw a pair of pants at Mo Liuxi.
“I have no appet.i.te,” said Mo Liuxi impatiently. “You guys can eat without me.”
Nian Junting turned around and looked at him from head to toe, then said, “Did you just end a failed relations.h.i.+p?”
“How can that be possible?” Mo Liuxi glared at him.
“It might be.” Nian Junting nodded. “You look lovelorn.”
“I don’t.” Mo Liuxi clenched his teeth.
“All right, I’ll tell Luo that you’re too upset to eat because you just broke up with someone.” Nian Junting nodded and turned.
Mo Liuxi had no choice but to put on the pants and follow behind him. “I didn’t break up with anyone. Don’t say anything to my sister.”
Nian Junting gave him a sideways glance, then said, “Do you know why I attracted your sister?”
“Why?” Mo Liuxi took the question seriously.
“Because I’m not only perfectly handsome but also mature and strong,” said Nian Junting proudly. “When you grow as mature as I am, you won’t have any rivals in love, because you’ll be stronger than all of them.”
Mo Liuxi felt speechless. He shouldn’t have asked him why.
…
In the living room, Nian Junting said to Luosang while changing shoes, “Your brother is here. He doesn’t seem to be in a good mood. He didn’t have any dinner but was hiding in bed. I guess he just broke up with someone.”
Mo Liuxi who was also changing his shoes shambled slightly. He couldn’t help but complain to Luosang, who was confused at that moment. “As a CEO, why is he so talkative?”
“Why can’t a CEO be talkative?” Nian Junting looked at him bewilderedly. “A CEO needs to attend all sorts of meetings every day. How can a non-talkative person be a good CEO?”
Luosang rolled her eyes, then said to Mo Liuxi, “He is a talkative CEO. Just get used to that.”
