Chapter 145: This Big Dumpling is Me
The plane flew directly to her hometown’s airport. Yun Xiangxiang said goodbye to Song Mian reluctantly.
Her whole family came to pick her up after she came out of the airport. Yun Xiangxiang suddenly teared up when she saw her parents and her two brothers.
“My girl is even thinner now,” Su Xiuling handed Yun Ting to Yun Zhibin. She held her daughter’s face in her hands and said concernedly.
“I’m fine , mom,” Yun Xiangxiang felt warm and fuzzy. She went to Yun Ting’s side and took him over.
“Jiejie… [1],” Yun Ting said coincidentally.
“Aiya, elder sister’s little hero,” Yun Xiangxiang was elated.
“Elder sister, he likes to walk now,” Yun Ting stepped forward and said.
“Is that so?” Yun Xiangxiang believed it and put Yun Ting down. He stood firmly, but he still adamantly stayed in his sister’s embrace.
“Yun Ting, here, let big bro hold your hand,” Yun Lin held Yun Ting’s little hand.
Yun Ting was slightly reluctant at first. However, he immediately followed his brother away when Yun Lin said he would play building blocks with him.
“Yun Lin is the one who stays by his brother’s side after he comes back. Now little brother listens to him the most,” said Su Xiuling smilingly.
She used to worry about the brothers’ relations.h.i.+p the most. Yun Lin was just starting his rebellious phase. She was worried that they wouldn’t be close.
Yun Lin who was holding Yun Ting’s hands harrumphed internally when he heard his mother saying that: I wouldn’t accompany him if it wasn’t because I want to make sure that he’s obedient.
He might be thinking that, but he still instinctively protected Yun Ting whenever someone came over.
“Is that Yun Xiangxiang?”
“The hat’s covering most of her face, I can’t really see.”
“Let’s get closer. I really like her.”
“It’s not nice. It will be awkward if it isn’t her. Besides, she isn’t wearing a face mask. She probably isn’t an actress.”
Yun Xiangxiang knew that she was about to be recognized when she heard the discussion. She kept her calm and kept moving forward.
She had always kept her schedule under wraps and forbade her fans from welcoming her back from her flights. This was to keep public order under control as well as preventing any accidents from happening because of the place getting too crowded.
“It’s probably not her. We aren’t far from her. If she is her, she won’t have that reaction after she hears us.”
“Ai, and I thought I met my idol. So sad. I snapped two side pics though.”
“I don’t think it’s her. You see, her clothes are thick. I have never seen any stars in that kind of clothing.”
The corners of Yun Xiangxiang’s lips slightly curved. She didn’t hear the latter part of the discussion.
She was wearing some thick clothes and a scarf to conceal her chin. The hat covered half her face as well.
She wasn’t wearing any sungla.s.ses and face mask. She looked like an ordinary little lady who feared the cold. Naturally, she would be inconspicuous since she didn’t stand out.
After they got into the car, Yun Zhibin chatted with Yun Xiangxiang while he was driving, “When will your break end?”
“On the eighth of next month. However, I will go back to school on the fourth day of New Year,” Yun Xiangxiang felt regretful. “The company will have a New Year’s celebration on the sixth day of New Year.”
The company’s actors and actresses must not be AWOL during the New Year’s celebration everyone. This was also Yun Xiangxiang’s first year. Naturally, she must be present.
“You can only stay at home for six days?” Su Xiuling looked at her daughter in astonishment.
“En,” Yun Xiangxiang nodded slightly.
Su Xiuling looked crestfallen. However, she quickly adjusted herself, “It’s fortunate that your father and I rejected your graduation banquet.”
Many of their relatives sent their congratulations for Yun Xiangxiang getting first place in the national college entrance exam. However, Yun Xiangxiang was filming at that time. Su Xiuling said that she didn’t want to hold a graduation banquet.
The relatives were still on their case even when the winter break arrived. They still wanted Yun Zhibin to hold one.
Yun Zhibin wavered for a while. However, he declined it when Yun Xiangxiang said that she could only return home on the twenty-eighth of the twelfth month of the Lunar calendar.
He felt slightly upset when he knew that her daughter’s duration of staying at home during the winter break was shorter than other people’s children’s time of staying at home over the national day celebration.
“We may not be able to hurry to your eighteenth birthday next month,” Yun Zhibin’s heart suddenly felt hollow.”
“Dad, birthday isn’t really important. I may already be in Italy by then,” Yun Xiangxiang calculated the time.
Su Xiuling couldn’t say anything but sigh when she heard that.
Naturally, Yun Xiangxiang couldn’t let the air become awkward. She immediately talked about interesting things and managed to amuse them quickly. They went back home happily.
Night time. Su Xiuling had confirmed that Yun Xiangxiang wasn’t hungry. She let her rest earlier when she thought about her fatigue after flying for so long.
Yun Xiangxiang flung herself to the bed when she entered her room after a long time of being separated from it. She took a whiff of that familiar scent and reported her safety to Song Mian.
She then went to practice. She was just going to go to bed after practice when she saw Song Meng’s voice message.
“Xiangxiang, your fans are fighting!”
“Someone took a picture of you at the airport and posted it online. They said that they met someone who looks like you.”
“I recognized you at a glance. Some fans also say that it’s you in the flesh. It is the airport in our hometown after all.”
“Some fans say that it is not you, then they started fighting about being “true fans”…”
They can even fight over this. Yun Xiangxiang sighed softly. She opened Weibo and saw that the fight was really quite intense.
So she finally updated her Weibo status for the first time since promoting Wei Shanshan’s TV drama last time.
[Actress Yun Xiangxiang V: Yes, this big dumpling is me {JPG}]
She saved the picture taken by the netizen and uploaded it. The fans instantly stopped arguing and started crying under her Weibo wall.
[Sister Xiang, when will you arrange us for a pickup?!]
[{?} I feel like I became a fan of a fake star. I’m so enthusiastic, yet I know nothing about you]
[G.o.ddess, G.o.ddess. You’ll be coming of age in a month. We’ll pool our money together and celebrate it with you!]
[You’re smart, the one above me. There is only a month left before our G.o.ddess turns eighteen.]
[G.o.ddess, give me an address. I want to send a present to you]
[Want to send a gift + ID number]
[Want to send a gift + Pi]
…
The fans soon resumed thinking about her birthday happily. Yun Xiangxiang went into the fan club after being quiet for a long while.
[Yun Xiangxiang: Everyone is different in age. However, I believe that your love for me is the same. All of you have the same importance in my heart. If all of you are willing, then please donate one yuan per person starting from tomorrow. Each person can only donate one time, and it cannot exceed one yuan. Donate that money to a reliable charity organisation when it is my birthday. That will be the best birthday gift that you can give me.
Yun Xiangxiang’s message was flooded in an instant. However, Yun Xiangxiang still managed to capture a key reply.
[Xiangxiang’s Cloud who misses Xiangxiang: Why can’t we donate more? Wouldn’t it be better if everyone does it according to their own abilities?]
[Yun Xiangxiang: @Xiangxiang’s Cloud who misses Xiangxiang, it’s to prevent anyone from keeping up with the Joneses. It is to prevent the kids who have no source of income from being sad. A blessing is a token of our thoughts. I hope that all of you can be united and be in sync.]
If she wasn’t worried about them thinking that she didn’t need or care about them, Yun Xiangxiang wouldn’t let them donate even a single yuan.
[Xiangxiang’s Cloud who misses Xiangxiang: Ah~ah~ah~ah~ah~, the G.o.ddess replied to me. The G.o.ddess replied to me. I’ll screenshot this and keep it as my collection forever!]
Everything after that was asking her to repost, spoil them, and tag them.
The screen that kept on getting flooded by messages made Yun Xiangxiang feel dizzy. She sent a message.
[Yun Xiangxiang: It’s very late now. Everyone, go to sleep. A beauty is born from her sleep. Good night.]
Yun Xiangxiang escaped after she sent that.
