Hero Of The World

Chapter 61

Eline looked at Ned and told him, "I have to make an appropriate training schedule for you. If you have anymore of this secrets of yours you better tell me. By now I"m sure you know I mean you no harm."

Ned looked at her, her feelings were still [protective] and he knew he can trust her and so he told her the truth.

"I can train in all three types of manuals that the humans have. Meaning I can be a rogue, mage, swordsman at the same time. However I want to be a mage above else therefore I"m going to train my magic the hardest. As for the other things, I honestly don"t know how I got them." He said.

She gave a nod and trusted him as she had seen how pure his feelings were, "Well I"ll try to think of some training method for you, for now take this grimoire of magic, drop your blood on it and it will show you some spells correspondent to your rank" and then she just flew to the sky until he couldn"t see her anymore.

He was left there and didn"t know what to do for the moment.

After a few seconds, he started walking even deeper inside the forest.

He had secrets to unveil. And he didn"t dare to bring out any of his other weapons. As for the magic grimoire he would only use it when he was in a secure place.

He met beasts similar to the leaper that were hard to kill due to their nature, but otherwise were weak if you knew their weakness.

He fought some, and as such improved his combat ability using magic. But he was also annoyed with some beasts too.

Just like now, he was fighting a snake that was 5m long and half a meter wide but it"s speed was nothing to scoff at. And it could probably swallow him whole with no problem. And unlike the beasts he fought before this snake was not ugly rather it had a charming look. But it still didn"t loose the intimidating feeling.

It was dark green in color with blue strips on it"s back and chest.

And even if Ned"s speed was almost reaching the rank 8 threshold, he still had to use his movement technique to dodge it"s attacks.

But he was only allowed to use it to dodge. As although his master didn"t say he wasn"t allowed to, he figured that he must only use magic.

The reason why beasts like this annoyed him was that they bring with them their followers.

He had to fight that sneaky snake while dodging it"s companions.

It had many smaller snakes who also couldn"t be underestimated. And many other types of beasts.

The solution he chose was to use the crystal element.

Once again dodging the snake, he changed his feet and hands into crystal element and then ran in the direction of the many smaller snakes.

Each one he pa.s.sed he used a spell and a spear went through it. Once done with the snakes, he went to the beasts, that were mostly some type of savage monkeys, and then he did the same.

So far he didn"t find any beast that could withstand the crystal spears. And now after taking care of the beasts it was the turn of the green snake.

It was enraged as all it"s followers died. So it charged at Ned much faster than before, but he used the three steps of Hermes to jump at the sky surprising the snake, but then he once again kicked at the sky and came back at the snake that was at the ground with a speed that was twice as fast as his first step.

He was holding in his hands a crystal spear of around 3m. Once he reached it he threw it with a force that made a cloud of dust.

Once the dust settled, he was able to see that the snake was now buried inside a crater. He stored it"s corpse along with the others in his inventory and climbed a tree until he was high enough before using a spell that will hide him.

It was a wind spell that served to lessen the sounds around him and make his form blurry so that he can blend with his surroundings.

The reason he did this was because he saw on the map, many large red dots running in this direction. They were as big as the snake he had just killed.

Soon they reached this place and yelled angrily because they didn"t find anyone. He guessed that just like usual they were running to see what is behind the loud sounds of explosions. They yelled at each other probably because each one of them was an overlord of a territory.

Soon they left and he was once again heading inside the forest. He was not a fool, he knew that with the restriction of using only magic he wouldn"t be able to fight their huge numbers alone, especially with the small number of spells he can cast.

Even Eline from high up in the sky gave a nod of approval, she didn"t doubt his ability to kill them using all his cards, but using magic alone? He was not at that level yet.

Once he reached deep enough he once again climbed a tree and with his magic he carved a hole large enough for him and then he closed it once he was inside.

He had already told Eline that each night he will go inside his s.p.a.ce. Since only he can enter the s.p.a.ce he didn"t mind telling her about it, but he only said that it was a pocket dimension that he can enter.

Once inside the s.p.a.ce and on his bed, he brought out the grimoire Eline gave him.

He knew grimoires to be magical books that stored magic spells inside to give to the one it bonded with. And it also listed all the types of magic that he can use.

He wondered what he will get from the grimoire, before he dripped a few drops of blood on it.

While he was wondering what he will get, Eline was the same too. This grimoire was something special she had found when she was young. It gave it"s user the magic most suited for his future.

Unlike normal ones who gave you just what it had inside. This grimoire chose the most suitable magic for you to give. And as far as she knows it had all types of magic, even the lost ones.

In her case it gave her magic related to the s.p.a.ce and the ice element that was lost.
