52. So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High.
Surah 70. The Ascending Stairways, Staircases Upward, Sckeptic 1. A questioner asked about a Penalty to befall- A questioner asked about a Penalty to befall-2. The Unbelievers, the which there is none to ward off,- The Unbelievers, the which there is none to ward off,-3. (A Penalty) from Allah, Lord of the Ways of Ascent. 19. Truly man was created very impatient;- Truly man was created very impatient;-20. Fretful when evil touches him; Fretful when evil touches him; 21. And n.i.g.g.ardly when good reaches him;- And n.i.g.g.ardly when good reaches him;-22. Not so those devoted to Prayer;- Not so those devoted to Prayer;-23. Those who remain steadfast to their prayer; Those who remain steadfast to their prayer; 24. And those in whose wealth is a recognised right. And those in whose wealth is a recognised right.
25. For the (needy) who asks and him who is prevented (for some For the (needy) who asks and him who is prevented (for some reason from asking); 26. And those who hold to the truth of the Day of Judgment; And those who hold to the truth of the Day of Judgment; 27. And those who fear the displeasure of their Lord,- And those who fear the displeasure of their Lord,-28. For their Lord"s displeasure is the opposite of Peace and For their Lord"s displeasure is the opposite of Peace and Tranquillity;-29. And those who guard their chast.i.ty, And those who guard their chast.i.ty, [image]
30. Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,-for (then) they are not to be blamed, 31. But those who trespa.s.s beyond this are transgressors;- But those who trespa.s.s beyond this are transgressors;-32. And those who respect their trusts and covenants; And those who respect their trusts and covenants; 33. And those who stand firm in their testimonies; And those who stand firm in their testimonies; 34. And those who guard (the sacredness) of their worship;- And those who guard (the sacredness) of their worship;-35. Such will be the honoured ones in the Gardens (of Bliss). 36. Now what is the matter with the Unbelievers that they rush madly Now what is the matter with the Unbelievers that they rush madly before thee-37. From the right and from the left, in crowds? From the right and from the left, in crowds?
38. Does every man of them long to enter the Garden of Bliss? Does every man of them long to enter the Garden of Bliss?
39. By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know!

"Further I have spoken to them in public and secretly in private, "Further I have spoken to them in public and secretly in private, 10. "Saying, "Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft-Forgiving; "Saying, "Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft-Forgiving; 11. ""He will send rain to you in abundance; ""He will send rain to you in abundance; 12. ""Give you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you ""Give you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing water).
13. ""What is the matter with you, that ye place not your hope for ""What is the matter with you, that ye place not your hope for kindness and long-suffering in Allah,-14. ""Seeing that it is He that has created you in diverse stages? ""Seeing that it is He that has created you in diverse stages?
15. ""See ye not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above ""See ye not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another, 16. ""And made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as ""And made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (Glorious) Lamp?
