Chapter 86 - Say Ahh...
Davi"s final resistance slowly crumpled. She didn"t expect this man of all people to suddenly act like this. If he was another person, she would have thought that he was just desperately trying to flirt with her. However, the man talking was none other than the stone cold, frozen ice statue, Sei.
Davi couldn"t believe what he just said so she suddenly placed her palm on his nape to see if he was actually not feeling well.
While Davi"s hand was still checking on his temperature, the man talked again.
"You really don"t want to?" he asked in a somewhat disappointed tone. Davi remained motionless as her gaze locked onto him. She looked as though realization finally dawned on her upon hearing his words.
What am I doing? Isn"t this a really rare and unexpected chance for me? Why am I worrying about him finding out if I"m lying? This is a perfect chance for me to test the waters, right? Ugh! Please brain, cooperate with me!
In that moment, Davi imagined herself slapping her own forehead for almost making a huge mistake. She realized that she must grab this chance no matter what. She also realized that Sei would not notice that she had no experience at all since she was sure he was even more inexperienced than her. The best part was, apart from having a partner to practice with, that this seemed like the perfect chance for her to observe his reaction and to conduct an experiment in a more intimate way with him for the sake of her future ultimate seduction.
At the same time, Davi felt as though she just found a powerful gem she could use as a stepping stone to help her climb up the ladder of success.
"Of course I want to. I"m just trying to see if you"re serious," she finally replied and she smiled at him excitedly.
"I"m serious."
"Okay then. From now on, you"re now my student."
"Mn."
"So, since you"re now my student, I might order you to call me teacher. Is that okay with you?"
"It"s okay."
"But we can"t start right away, okay? I mean, well… I need to officially drop that junior of mine first." Davi was actually planning to buy some time because she wanted to watch the video her friend sent her first. She wanted to gather the weapons she needed to ensure that the moment she began the siege, the castle would certainly fall into her hands.
"Mm. No problem."
Upon hearing his certain answer, Davi was about to ask him why he suddenly wanted to learn, when her stomach cut her off with a growl.
"Hahaha… it seems I"m hungry," she said shyly.
As soon as those words came out of her mouth, Sei finally remembered the dinner he left behind almost an hour ago. He then stood up right away, reached out his hand and helped her up.
…
At the dining table, Davi was quite happy. She was eating happily that Sei couldn"t help but just watch her. She looked like she was excited about something, like something good just happened.
So when Davi noticed him just looking at her without even touching his food, her brows tied into a knot and she looked at him curiously.
"What"s wrong?" she asked.
"You look happy," he replied and Davi just looked at him for a moment before she smiled widely again.
"Mm. I"m happy. Because you"re finally here. I"m not eating alone anymore." Davi"s words made him speechless. He felt a strange feeling the moment he heard her confession. It was a really uncomfortable feeling for him that he could only clench his fists slightly in response.
"Eat up. You didn"t even eat anything yet." Davi continued and her lively voice and dazzling smile made him just stare at her again.
"Should I feed you?" she asked playfully and with that, he finally snapped out of his daze.
"No need."
"Say ahh…"
"…"
Sei was speechless because the girl just ignored his words and reached the spoon out close to his mouth anyway... Her eyes were blinking innocently as he looked at her and he felt like it was impossible for him to reject whatever she was offering him.
Sei"s ears slowly turned red as he hesitantly opened his mouth. The girl placed the spoon in his mouth, smiling excitedly as if she was feeding her cute little pet.
