Chapter 477: Giant G.o.dfiend An LinTranslator: Henyee Translations Editor: Henyee Translations
An Lin walked into the golden gate to find a long, golden pa.s.sageway with no end in sight.
He continued forward in this pa.s.sageway with no sense of s.p.a.ce or distance.
In the end, he finally experienced a rush of dizziness after walking for what seemed like an eternity.
His vision darkened before coming clear again as he arrived in a vast wilderness.
An Lin looked around with curiosity to find that there were two suns in the sky, one of which was golden and the other was red. The sky above was also a peculiar mix between blue and purple.
The ground was quite flat with many small mounds littered over its surface.
A loud commotion was reverberating beside his ears along with a series of booms.
An Lin turned his eyes to the side, and his mouth gaped open in shock.
He saw many ants on the ground… no! They were people!
Right at this moment, he felt a sharp pain on his cheek.
“Ow! b.l.o.o.d.y mosquito!” An Lin grimaced as he slapped his own cheek.
He didn’t hit any mosquitoes, but his hand was stained with blood.
He turned toward a black figure who was quickly retreating from his face to find that it wasn’t a mosquito. Instead, it was a tiny man with a pair of white wings!
The mosquito-sized man wielded a blue longsword, and he had an expression of bewilderment on his face. “I can’t believe he is able to remain unscathed after being struck by me, one of the ten most powerful swordsmen of the Bronze Nation, Shen Shajian, especially when I am wielding my G.o.d-Slaying Sword. As expected of a Giant G.o.dfiend!”
An Lin: “…”
The mosquito-sized man was speaking in the Ancient Man Language, and An Lin was finally able to hear what he was saying after unleas.h.i.+ng his divine sense.
Ten most powerful swordsmen? G.o.d-Slaying Sword? Giant G.o.dfiend?
An Lin blinked in puzzlement. Suddenly, he discovered that his toes were aching.
He looked down to find several hundred tiny humans stabbing into his shoes with their sharp sabers.
They couldn’t fly, so they had no choice but to hack away at his shoes…
Some of the more powerful ones burned holes into his shoe before unleas.h.i.+ng a barrage of attacks on his toes. Unfortunately for them, An Lin’s Soul Formation Stage physique was not that easy to wound, and all their attacks could do was to scratch an itch here and there for him.
A series of arrows flew toward An Lin before being rebounded away by his white robes.
He discovered a few miniature people frothing at the mouth beside the holes in his shoes… They appeared to have died from the foul odor wafting from within the shoes…
Sigh… how miserable…
“Die, Giant G.o.dfiend!”
“G.o.d-Slaying Technique, Flying Heavenly Sword!”
The mosquito-sized man by the name of Ye Nantian roared as he slashed out a ten-centimeter sword projection, which sliced straight through the heavens.
He also sprang into action himself as he charged toward An Lin’s glabella with a sword in hand.
An Lin’s lips twitched, and he crushed the ten-centimeter sword projection between his fingers…
“What?!” Ye Nantian’s eyes widened in shock.
A huge palm then reached toward him, obscuring all light between heaven and earth!
A despairing expression appeared on Ye Nantian’s face. This Giant G.o.dfiend was terrifyingly powerful. So powerful that Ye Nantian felt completely powerless before his insane might.
His body was gripped between two gargantuan fingers, rendering him completely immobilized.
Just as he thought he was about to die, he found that the Giant G.o.dfiend didn’t kill him. Instead, he was brought in front of the Giant G.o.dfiend’s eyes to be more closely inspected.
Is he going to eat me?
Ye Nantian fell into greater despair. His body trembled as he imagined himself being chewed up by the terrifying giant before him.
“You might be much more powerful than that Giant G.o.dfiend I had slain in the past, but I refuse to be shamed by you!” Ye Nantian roared, and a tiny bolt of divine lightning crashed down toward his own head.
He would rather die immediately than to become food for the Giant G.o.dfiend!
However, an inexplicable scene suddenly occurred. The divine lightning switched directions in the air before exploding like blue fireworks.
“What…” Ye Nantian was completely gripped by despair.
This Giant G.o.dfiend was even more fearsome than he had imagined.
An Lin looked closely at Ye Nantian to find that he was just over a centimeter tall, which was about the size of a full-sized human being shrunk a hundred times.
“Hey, which Giant G.o.dfiend is so weak that they were killed by you?” An Lin asked with curiosity in his voice.
Ye Nantian was clearly the most powerful being within this group of miniature people, and he had just said An Lin was far stronger than the Giant G.o.dfiend he had slain…
An Lin was quite bewildered. What kind of lowly trash would be killed by these miniature people? How weak would they have to be?!
Ye Nantian’s face was filled with shock as he listened to An Lin’s earsplitting voice. “You… you can speak?!”
All the miniature humans that were unleas.h.i.+ng attacks on An Lin’s shoes were startled into halting their attacks upon hearing An Lin’s words, and they all looked up at him with identical expressions of shock.
“I have a rough understanding of the Ancient Man Language you’re speaking…” An Lin nodded.
“Bullsh*t! You’re speaking the Tai Chu language!” Ye Nantian roared.
“Alright alright… You’re right. Answer my question, and I can spare your lives.” An Lin smiled.
Ye Nantian’s whole body trembled, and he gritted his teeth before replying reluctantly, “He was a Giant G.o.dfiend even more muscular than you are, except he was walking on all fours and had long black fur. His muscular strength was insane, and his fists could knock over mountains while his pounding feet could trigger earthquakes. He was extremely fearsome… but he was still slain by my G.o.d-Slaying Sword!”
An Lin’s lips twitched when he heard this description.
Was this not a f*cking ape he was talking about?! How had he lived this long without seeing an ape before?!
Ye Nantian turned his eyes upon An Lin before continuing, “Your appearance is closer to that of us humans… and you can talk. So Giant G.o.dfiends can evolve as well…”
“Evolve my a*s! We’re two different f*cking species!
“Wait… technically humans evolved from apes, so what you’re saying isn’t wrong after all.”
An Lin amended as this thought occurred to him.
Ye Nantian: “…”
All the miniature humans: “…”
“I have done nothing to wrong you, why would you all attack me when this is the first time we’ve met?” An Lin complained.
His shoes were ruined, so he would have to change into a new pair.
To his surprise, the several hundred miniature people on the ground below immediately went into an uproar after hearing his words. Many of them let loose torrents of abuse and some of the more courageous ones continued to stab his shoes with their spears.
Ye Nantian was also completely incensed. “You haven’t wronged us? You dare to say you haven’t wronged us? You killed our emperor! Such a heinous crime you’ve committed against us… and you still dare to say you haven’t wronged us?!”
“I killed your emperor?” An Lin blinked in confusion.
“Look beneath your foot!” Ye Nantian roared with rage.
An Lin lifted his left foot to find there was nothing there.
He then lifted up his right foot.
Hmm… there were a few golden ants that had been flattened underfoot.
Oh… and there was also a miniature man in a golden imperial robe that had been crushed into a lifeless pancake…
