Chapter 388: Treasure Pavilion
Andrew did not know what to say. He asked Zeus with a serious expression, “What about the people on the Mountain of G.o.ds? Do they not enter this place for their cultivation?”
The reason why he asked this was because he had his own plans. After all, he did not know if he should believe Zeus.
Zeus said, “You might not know this, but every G.o.d on the Mountain of G.o.ds has a cultivation technique that belongs to them. From the day they were born, a cultivation technique would fly out from the treasure pavilion and atself to them. Thus, until now, no one has dared to enter this place personally.”
Zeus did not speak anymore. After all, he did not know what was inside the treasure house either. Andrew looked at Zeus and asked him a few more questions.
In the end, he could only sigh helplessly. He pulled out his Azure Dragon Sword from his interspatial ring.
After thinking for a while, he said to himself.
“I don’t believe it. What kind of existence is inside? I have to go in and take a look today.”
Andrew took a step forward and rushed into the treasure pavilion of Mountain of G.o.ds.
Zeus was stunned. But soon, a mysterious sneer flashed across his face.
“Anyway, I have already said what I should say. There really is an old G.o.d in there. How can you be his opponent?”
Zeus turned around leisurely and walked back to the main hall. He did not want to waste his time here. Since Andrew wanted to die, then let him die.
On the other side, Annie and Clayton, who were in the Martial Arts Bureau, had been guarding Lingyu. They didn’t know when Lingyu would wake up.
Clayton’s face was solemn. He raised his head and whispered to Annie, “What do you think we should do if she wakes up and attacks us again?”
Annie was stunned. Then she replied to him, “Did you forget Andrew’s words? He has sealed the power and memories of Lingyu. When Lingyu wakes up, we will get to know each other again. Anyway, she’s just an ordinary person now. There’s no danger at all.”
Annie’s face involuntarily flashed with a teasing smile as she continued, “Even if she wakes up and wants to make a move, what is there for you to be afraid of? Don’t forget, you are the director of this Martial Arts Bureau. Your strength isn’t weak either. How can you not be able to deal with her?”
Clayton’s face showed a trace of helplessness.
“Although I’m strong, I can’t attack a woman. Besides, she’s so beautiful.”
..
While the two of them were chatting, they suddenly heard a coughing sound. Lingyu slowly opened her eyes.
When she saw Annie and Clayton, she was stunned. She hurriedly sat up from the bed and took a few steps back.
Annie hurriedly comforted Lingyu, “You don’t have to be so afraid. While we were on a mission, we found you unconscious by the roadside, so we saved you. Do you remember who you are?”
A trace of doubt flashed across Lingyu’s face. She shook her head.
Annie smiled and said, “Don’t worry if you can’t remember. We actually don’t know about your background. We found a professional doctor to examine you. He said that your brain was seriously injured, so you have to rest well. You can stay here from now on.”
Lingyu didn’t know what to say. She had no idea what was going on, nodding her head randomly.
On the other side, after Andrew walked into the treasure pavilion on the Mountain of G.o.ds, he released his cultivation.
After he walked in, he didn’t feel any aura at all, puzzling him a bit.
Andrew could not care less. Since there was no one guarding it, this was exactly what he wanted.
He had to hurry up and find a technique that suited his demands. He did not know if there was one on the Mountain of G.o.ds.
He put away the Azure Dragon Sword. It was not dangerous anyway. However, just as he was about to walk deeper, he suddenly felt a pair of eyes staring at him.
His face darkened, but after looking around in the treasure pavilion, he found nothing.
He felt that he was thinking too much, and then he sighed helplessly.
“What was that feeling just now? Am I thinking too much again?”
A cold voice suddenly entered his ears.
“Who are you? How dare you trespa.s.s into the forbidden area of the Mountain of G.o.ds?”
Andrew was stunned. When he turned around, he found that there was a white-haired old man behind him.
Andrew said respectfully, “I came here to find a technique. I hope you can accommodate me. Otherwise…”
He didn’t finish his words. He wanted to wait for the white-haired old man’s reply, but only a cold smile was hanging on the corner of his mouth. The old man said, “If you want to find something here, then we have to see if you have real abilities. Even the juniors on the Mountain of G.o.ds do not dare to come in. I did not expect you to actually have the guts.”
