Back in his cave, Noah suddenly remembered something important. He rented the manual in the heat of the moment but he forgot that he needs Qi to use martial techniques....

"Shouldn"t be a problem, getting to the first stage of the mortal realm is easy by what i heard" Noah talent isn"t exceptional, but all he need is Qi in his body to pratice the techinique. It"s easy for someone with Medium Talent to reach the first stage of cultivation.

He sat cross legged because every protagonist does that when cultivating and recalled what Elder Zhang told them. He needs to feel the Spirit Qi in the air, and use his will to guide it towards his body. It takes a long time for someone with low talent to absorb the Spirit Qi in their surroundings, the lower your talent the harder is to do it.

He closed his eyes and tried to feel something, staying in that position for a very long time. Noah wasn"t a impatient guy, so he could stay like that for a long time. When his legs were already going numb, he started to feel something in the air. A mist, he eyes weren"t open, but he knew it was there. A white mist filled the surroundings, it was probabily the so called Spirit Qi. Spirit Qi is the vital energy of things, every alive and some non alive(Fire Qi,Sword Qi, etc.) things had Qi in them. The Qi leaks as time pa.s.ses and the air ends up filled with it.

He tried to use his will to move the mist towards his body, but he only felt it moving slightly. Noah still keep on trying for a unknow amount of minutes, when the mist finally reached his body. He felt a unknow sensation, as the mist that was near him disappeared bit by bit, absorbed by his body.

Noah continued cultivating for a unknow amont of time, probabily hours, he doesn"t really know how much time pa.s.sed. He suddenly felt an unknow feeling in his body, and opened his eyes. He stood up as his bones made cracking sounds. Stretching a bit, Noah guessed that he reached the first stage of the Mortal Realm.

"Hmm, how stronger had i became?" He found some heavy looking rock that was half his size, and tried to lift it up. In the past, he would probabily lift it up a bit before falling to the ground dead tired, he don"t praticed sports very much. Now, he could lift it up to his face and stay like that for some time. Noah tought he probabily would be able to break wood easily with punches now.

Recently advanced cultivators aren"t that much stronger than ordinary people, four or three normal people were already enough to take one of them down if they don"t know any martial technique. The main difference about them is that cultivator have Qi in their body, no matter how little it"s still Qi.

Noah Closed his eyes and tried to feel the Qi on his body, especially on the lower part of it were the suposed Dantian is located. He felt the white mist stored in the lower part of his body near the stomach in a circular shape. He also found it weird about how he is not sleepy or hungry after cultivating, probabily nourishment from the Spirit Qi.

"Well whatever, time to pratice the manual". He sat down again and read the manual that he put in the corner. The manual consisted of making specific movements with his feet and guiding Qi into certain points of it. He trained it for hours and cultivated every time his Dantian got empty, or when he got hungry or sleepy. He countinued in that rythm, had sleep some hours everyday(Seems like he couldn"t just ignore sleep) and eat the food that servants sent his cave daily(Hunger too). He was able to tell how many days pa.s.sed with the servants that sent food one time a day.

Noah found the feeling of getting stronger bit by bit fun. That together with his natural patience(More like lazyness) made him continue training non stop for the entire week. Noah is a guy that is lazy for everything that he doesn"t like, and motivated for everything he found fun.
