"Creatures is a minority in this house, or to be exact; it is a species that no one would agree it should deserve to live. Just like me, living alone in this world with no one care nor pay attention. Therefore, whatever they do is just a way to survive; it might seem a bit curl to others like the first and second family"s eyes. However, in the eyes of its species, it is a holy thing to do. Just like us hunting for food in the wild, or sell the items we possess, like me, to other people to make a living. They represent self-fish; they are the definition of cruel and relentless, but it is generous to its kind, they are respectful to its race. You want me to become the creature, not just to inherit its cruelness to its enemy, but love and to be kind to my species; in this case the G.o.d-abandoned ones, like you. Am I right?" Medusa looks straight at the boy"s eyes. Her eyes are so beautiful as the stars in the universe. Unlike the many times, she looked at the boy"s eye. This time, she doesn"t have any doubt and confusion, she fully understands the point that the boy is trying to make clear to her.The boy is speechless; even though, he heard that Medusa thinks he wants her to love him because the boy mentions the G.o.d-abandoned minority and it"s not what he meant for her to feel like that. However, it"s not too far from what he wants her to feel like inside of her.
"Yes! You are indeed the most beautiful and smart girl I ever meet." Medusa now is opening her heart and letting his words get into her, so he doesn"t have anything to hold back, "I want you to be self-fish; being self-fish can get you anything you want. Keep in mind that you are not one of them, you are your race. Even though you have the appearance of a human, but you are your race. Open your eyes and see the world your self; you are not living under anyone"s shadow now. Do whatever it takes to get the things you want, money, food, survival, freedom."
The boy leans forward, puts out his hand and hold on to Medusa"s face gently and kisses her on her lips; as if the kiss gives her the power and permission to let her inner self-set free, Medusa is changing, changing into the creature that the boy is making her become.
"Let"s continue, shall we, I bet you still want to know the rest of the story, right?" The boy smiles and asks.
"Sure, I"m waiting." Medusa smiles back; Medusa looks different than a minute ago. Not describing her facial appearance, but her temperament that she gives to others when gets into contacts.
"So...The first father noticed the creatures" hint and fell into silence. He knows what the creatures" mean; the creatures don"t need money nor food, they want human, the more, the better. This time, it is not like the first time; the offer will most definitely have gone up higher because this time, it is not about wheater they can stay in the house or gets a little share of food from them. This time it is about not being killed by the other family.
"What will satisfy you?" The first father asks.
"Anything!" The creatures show an evil smirk.
"I...I" The first father is hesitant to reply with an answer.
The creatures don"t seem to care too much about who is going to kill who, and who is going to die because at the end they still get what they want, it"s just matter of time.
However, the second family is not planning on giving too much time for the first family to think. He already gets to the ground floor when the first father is debating wheater he should accept or not accept the creatures" offer.
"Hey, my friend! I was looking for you" The second father is still playing it cool because he thought that the first family hasn"t found out about his plan.
"No! You lying b.a.s.t.a.r.d, you are trying to kill my family and me!" The first father is sick of the guy in front of him playing dumb with him.
"Oh! My dear friend! What are you talking about! I thought we were friends! Friends do hurt others" feelings" The second father has turn shame into anger.
"Oh! You are not my friend! You are trying to trick me into your trap and use me for your benefit!" The first father is annoyed by the fake friendly conversation that the second father is throwing at him.
"Hahaha," The second father angrily laugh,
"You should be thankful to me because I let you come into the house. You are dying outside; it is my mercy for you to live for a little longer, it"s just that the price I set is a bit high. You should be on your keens thanking me!"
"Thank you? Then let you kill my whole family and me? What a joke!" The first father is triggered by the twisted logic that the second father has.
"Ok! Ok! Playing tough! I"ll show you what is tough!" The second father replies,
"Creatures! Eat them! Eat them all!"
"Oh? Who are you to order us?" The creatures didn"t do what the second father said, and turns around asks the second father.
"What? I give you food! Kill them!" The second father has lost his mind and forget all about the fear that he once had when facing this creature.
The creatures didn"t say nor do anything after the father bosses them around to do what told them to do.
The first father noticed that and knew that he needs to act quick before the creatures come after them; he tightens his fist and look straight toward the creatures" way and yells,
"I accept your offer! I will give you, my wife and son, as a payment to help me terminate them" The first father points his index finger toward the second father"s way.
"Oh? Two?" The creatures finally break their silence and ask.
"Uh? Not enough?" The first father is on the edge of a mental break down.
"Are you nuts!" The wife next to him yells,
"I"m your wife! Why me! What about you?"
"I"m the man of the family! I have to save my self for the family to continue the bloodline!" The first father didn"t turn his head and replies.
"You are a self-fish b.a.s.t.a.r.d! You have no heart! You are a coward!" The wife starts to call the first father all type of names to vent her disappointment and anger.
With all these arguments going around; the issue with wife and husband, one family to another, the creatures" offers, but no one ever notices the little kid standing behind the wife is dropping tears and feeling despair. Even though the wife is not happy about the first father"s decision, but all she did was to fight for her life, not including her kid"s lives. He has had enough of this foolish argument and heartless decisions. He wipes the tears off his face, looks straightforward toward at the creatures then slowly make his way to the creatures." The boy said.
