Lillie was summoned to the Bai Estate by a call from her mother; frantically telling her a brief summary of what happened before hanging up.

An umpteenth sigh escapes her mouth when she realized that there are still too much paperworks she needed to do before the call. She had asked Elliot once again to fill her into it before taking her car towards the estate.

To be frank, her mother was just being melodramatic of the fact that the emergency she was pertaining was her younger brother"s late night activities and skipping cla.s.ses by feigning ill.

Furthermore, not only was her mother the only one concerned, but her father and grandparents as well. Lillie had no choice but to see the bottom of it personally.

The family knew that Gabriel"s greatest weakness was her sister and would do anything to make her proud.

Sadly, Gabriel was not careful enough in hiding his misbehavior. If their parents can see through it, what made you think Lillie can"t?

Arriving in front of the mansion, she saw her mother patiently waiting for her by the door.

"Is it really that serious?" Lillie pondered.

"Little flower!" Mother Bai hugged and kissed her daughter"s cheeks in greetings.

Mother Bai let her come in first. The servants were quick with their feet and immediately prepared refreshments and the eldest miss" favorite snacks. Behind the mansion was a beautiful garden filled with colorful and fragrant flowers, fruits and other vegetations.

The eldest miss loves nature. As doting parents, they unquestionably hired a talented landscape architecture and horticulturalist to design the garden.

Same goes for the Tranquil Villa"s, where Lillie now lives with Ethan.

"Is it really serious, for you to call me so suddenly?" Lillie asked. The air around the garden made her feel nostalgic and calm. She used to come here to the garden to relax.

Mother Bai felt a bit embarra.s.sed. She poked both of her index finger with each other, making her appear as if she was a high school girl confessing her love to her crush.

Lillie suddenly felt complicated. She knew this posture really well. The calmness inside her mind was now replaced by annoyance.

She should"ve seen it coming...

That this...is not a serious matter but an overdramatized matter only made serious because of her mother.

It seems her father and grandparents were deceived by it too.

"It"s really serious ah!" Mother Bai suddenly felt like she was being scolded by someone in their mind.

"Gabriel is hiding a girl from us!" She aggrievedly exclaimed

The servants who stood by the side shook their heads.

They really felt bad for their eldest miss. To be called so abruptly from a busy day at work. Madam Bai should really tone down her overdramatic-ness.
