There are three causes which made Canaria to feel out of place for this Demon G.o.d’s mythology (Game).
① The fact [The evil Giants were the indigenous people being invaded by another race].
② The history [The evil Giants merged other races and allowed cultural exchange].
③ The legend [The evil king didn’t kill, only imprisoned the princess who was destined to destroy his race].
The most notable point is ③, which gave off an uncomfortable feeling beyond of what should have been the behavioral principles of [An evil race of Giants] told by legends.
Balor said this at the very beginning of his fight against master Scathach.
“I cherished my daughter. That’s why I locked her up.”
Although it wasn’t written on the parchment, but the reason why Demon G.o.d Balor had to lock his beloved daughter was told by the Celtic Mythology’s legends.
A prophecy that said [The daughter of Demon G.o.d Balor will give birth to a child that shall destroy the Fomorians].
To put it simple, a legend told that Demon G.o.d Balor’s grandchildren will become the destroyers of his own race.
Since Demon G.o.d Balor’s lineage had only his beloved daughter, which easily led to the conclusion that [Balor will eventually meet his demise at the hand of his daughter’s child].
The Demon G.o.d’s pitiful daughter was locked inside a tower, and all servants that were sent to her are all females.
A pure princess who does not anyone else of opposite gender other than her father, she is even oblivious to the concept of love.
It was easy to expect a hero will come to save her who is a typical model of a damsel in distress, yet—
That gave birth to a question, however.
Let’s ignore every details arbitrarily added by future storytellers and focus on only existing facts.
The Demon King of an evil race of Giants – the Fomorians.
He locked the pitiful princess and robbed her chance to know what love is.
The King of a race of Giants – the Fomorians.
He locked the princess and secured her life at the cost of being able to touch the opposite gender.
The King of indigenous people of the Far West.
He locked the princess and prevented the prophecy which foretold the destruction of his race — Yet, won’t that also mean — he is trying to protect the princess herself as well?
In the ancient Celts, the prophecy of a prophet was regarded an absolute truth carrying even Divinity to some extent.
If that prophet foretold the destruction of your race, then anyone would have went for any length possible to prevent that from happening.
To say it frankly, it would have been a good action for him to kill the princess by his retainers’ advice.
In spite all of that, the king of the Giants merely suppressed that possibility by locking the princess.
Despite the prophecy of the destruction of his race — the king didn’t kill his beloved daughter.
However, what is out of place about his legends does not stop there.
The grandson of the king who is the center of that prophecy.
The Child of Destiny who will destroy the Fomorians.
Later known as Solar G.o.d Lugh, though the Demon G.o.d attempted to kill Lugh, yet he used only an unreliable method.
It is very clear once it was compared to other mythologies that had similar legends.
Though both Great G.o.d Cronus or Chief G.o.d Zeus in Greek Mythology swallowed whole their son as the perfect method for that, yet Demon G.o.d Balor only used an unreliable method like throwing his grandchildren to a river.
He could have beheaded his grandchildren with a sword.
He could have pierced the heart of his grandchildren with a spear.
He could have tied and burned his grandchildren to death on a stake as a warning to any scoundrel that crept to the princess’ place.
If he’s going to demonstrate his warning by force, he could have showed them by opening and killing the child with his Eye of Death. Regardless so, he only used an unreliable method like “throwing the child to a river”.
As if he knew that someone will save that child.
As if he wished for someone to save that child.
Won’t that mean he left the destruction of his race to the Wheel of Destiny—?

—Come, now is the time to gather the necessary keywords.
Let us witness how the mythology told by the newest Poet destroys the curse of the wicked Poets.
