"-ke up!"

Linri slowly opened his eyelids and he could see a hazy figure on top of him. He grunted and slowly got up.

"What?" Seeing Linri"s nonchalant att.i.tude Jaime became extremely angry and grabbed his shoulders before starting to shake him.

"What do you mean what? Just take a look at yourself?"

"Just let me sleep five more minutes" She finally had it with this statement so she hit Linri on the head with all she got.

Linri grabbed his head with both of his hands. His mind started to become clear and he finally woke up fully thanks the stimulation from the pain.

"Why did you hit me you lunatic!" Linri shout at her furiously. After almost a week of nightmares he had finally got a good nights sleep so he was obviously furious.

"You are the lunatic! Your whole family are a bunch of lunatics. Get a look of yourself first you b.l.o.o.d.y idiot. What happened!" While saying that she handed Linri a simple mirror used for make-up. It was weird that she was carrying something like this to a safari but this was not time for retorts.

"Huh?" Linri got a good look at his face from the mirror. His face was covered in scratches, his white hair was dirty with pieces of broken wood and leaves stuck to it. His dog teeth had grown and small part of them were peeking out from his lips. They gave him a mischievous and evil look. In summary his current appearance was akin to a some kind of savage that lived in the forest without any human contact.

He s.h.i.+fted his eyes from his face to his clothes. His sling was nowhere to be soon, his t-s.h.i.+rt was ripped and there were claw marks in the middle of it. Several parts of his pant was also missing. It looked like short more than pants now. Linri created the mental link connecting him to the deities before asking a question.

"What"s going on?" that was when he noticed that his left arm was not broken any more. He could move it just fine.

"Yeah that"s what I asked you in the first place!" Jaime retorted Linri.

"I was not talking to you. Now tell me what did you do to me!" Jaime was confused by his remark.

"I did not do anything"

"Just quite down for a second and let them talk I will explain you in a minute. This is the third time I am asking What.Did.You.Do.To.Me?"

"Nothing... You did this to yourself" As always it was Solas that answered him.

"Stop with the mind games. I did not do anything out of the ordinary. What happened and why now?" He was getting irritated and Linri found that unusual so he tried to calm himself down by breathing.

"As I said before this is something you did to "yourself" *giggle* So amusing! Even I did not expect this result." Solas sounded so cheery that Linri felt a sense of dread.

"Are you going to answer or not otherwise I am cutting connection."

"*Sigh* You need to learn to be more patient young one. Oh wait! You were quite patient before so maybe its because of "that""

"You mean?" Linri had a foreboding about what did she mean by "that". He could already guess that this had something to do with his bloodline but he could not understand why? Original Linri did not show any sign of his bloodline till he got his ex-burst. For him it was too soon. He did not go to Autumnfall yet let alone get his ex-burst.

"Yes, it"s because of the power we gave you. It seems like your soul was especially compatible with the powers we gave you so its hastening the awakening of your bloodlines. With this speed you have 3 months at most. Before you die that is." He finally understood why. It was because of his existence that things were changed. His "soul" was the thing that was different from the original. For now he did not know if this was a good thing or a bad one. At least though he was relieved to hear that he still had 3 months. That should be enough to get things on the right track, hopefully.

"Phew, I was scared for a moment there. 3 months are more than enough to "meet" your so called great evil right?"

"Yes it is but didn"t you forget something? I said at most, now I really wonder what choice you will make *giggle* Every time you fight it will hasten the synchronization rate between the power we bestowed upon you and your bloodlines. In other words every time you fight your life span will get shorter."

Now this was a dreadful news. The moment he stepped to Autumnfall he had to fight. If he did not fight he would his life. If he did fight though it was also throwing his life away and he might not make it till Lyra created the ritual. He was afraid to tell her too soon as for new inventions timing was the most important. If she could not find the same spark of inspiration she might not even create the ritual if she spent her whole life on it.

"Wait I can understand that but why was my arm healed?" This was the second question on his mind. He had not given Linri any kind of regenerative abilities so it was weird.

"It was just the side effect of your body reconstructing itself. You can take off the scabs in your face to see that they are already healed"

Linri lifted off one of the scabs left from slash of the beast from yesterday. He saw that the skin under it was already healed just like what Solas said.

"Okay I understand my situation now. Only thing I have to do is not fight right? I am a cowardly person so it is quite easy to achieve."

"*Giggle* I wonder if you can say the same thing once you learn what I"m about to tell you." The moment she said that Linri knew that it was not something good. He had an uneasy feeling and he wished from the bottom of his heart that it was not that.

"Your dear parents, they are trapped inside the temple, without any interference they will die. If you go you "will" have to fight. Now choose Linri Harclaw! Will you let your parents and everyone together with them to rot inside there or are you going to throw the precious remaining life away. I wonder if you can amuse me yet again *giggle*"
