It had been 3 days since they had returned home. During this time nothing out of ordinary had happened. Both Lyra and Arkady still keeping their silence about what happened in the Forest of Rundabar. This was a good thing for Linri so he was happy with their decision.

Jaime, on the other hand, was in an awkward spot, at least that was what Linri thought. After getting checked up by a real doctor, her diagnosis was just that of a couple of fractures on her left arm and a lot of flesh wounds. There was no need for any kind of surgery so this was kind of good news for them. The real problem was Jaime herself. After what happened at the temple she seemed more cold, more withdrawn.

She did not speak much and spent most of her time in the guest room she was staying in. This was quite the contrast from her previous cheerful personality. Linri did not know if this was a good thing or not, but there was one thing that he knew. This was "natural".

He had already figured out on his first day in here that they were affected by the personalities of their RP characters or rather their "current" vessels. He himself was a victim of this phenomenon at the temple with constantly flaring up in rage.

Luckily most of his personality was similar since Linri was based on himself but it was different for Alina. Jaime had a completely different personality from her. This could be understood from their nicknames in the Autumnfall RP Club community. In there Spark"s nickname was "Happy, go lucky girl" while her character was mostly described as "The Ice Queen".

If he were to compare the current Spark with her previous self, she would be in a spot between normal and Jaime. So her current personality was more like a hybrid between Alina and Jaime. There was one more worrying thing, however; they did not know if this would stop here or would her personality keep changing until it would be exactly the same as "The Ice Queen".

Since Linri noticed this situation it would be impossible that the person in question did not know it herself. That was why he found her situation awkward.

Linri was pulled away from his thoughts by his father"s sudden question at the dinner table.

"I can"t take this any more! Are you really not gonna ask anything? Why haven"t you spoken a word of it yet?" To his question, Linri decided to play it dumb. He just stared at Arkady and tilted his head slightly with a blank look on his face.

"Ask about what?" Not noticing he was being made fun of by his son Arkady went on to explain.

"You know... what happened at the temple or why did your arm healed overnight or the changes happening to your body"

"Dad don"t worry, we have health cla.s.s. I know what going through p.u.b.erty is so you don"t have to give me the birds and the bees talk. Especially in the presence of fair ladies."

"That is not how p.u.b.erty works and you know it!" Seeing his father"s face Linri decided to stop with his façade otherwise this crazy father of his might decide to discipline him just like his IRL father.

"Do I though? Last time I checked you guys did not ask me about how I opened the door back at the temple either, so I simply a.s.sumed we were over that stuff. There is also one more thing though, I noticed that you guys are keeping something important from me, something life-changing. At first, I was angry, then after giving it some time I thought that since you did not tell me anything that must mean it was something that I did not need to know. If you are ready to explain, I am here to listen but if not I am not gonna pester you. Actually, now that I think about it even if you wanted to tell me I would not listen. I honestly don"t know what happened to me but there is one thing I can feel, it was incomplete. So I am not ready to listen yet, at least that"s what my instincts are telling me." Both Arkady and Lyra was surprised by how mature their son was. They were actually thinking that he would keep pestering them but he was actually doing the opposite. He was putting his trust in them and decided to wait till he was ready.

It was actually better this way. From what Lyra saw from her observations Linri just scratched the door of his bloodline and not actually awakened it yet. So she was hesitant about whether to tell him or not. Because if he failed to awaken his bloodline he would just live his life in regret, knowing that he was a failure. It would never be too late to tell him "after" he awakened so there would not be any pressure on him.

Actually, maybe it was better to tell the kid now. From his words and actions till now it was obvious that he had strong instincts so it was almost certain that he would awaken eventually. Then again it was better to not rush things.

"Uhm, should I really be here? This seems like a family matter." Jaime chimed in from Linri"s side reminding everyone of her existence.

"Don"t worry sweetheart, we are not talking anything important. It"s not like you will not hear of this in the future knowing my son"s personality." Lyra tried to ease Jaime"s tension. Though at the time the only thing Linri thinking of was that "Wow! Such a great actor!".

"Even so I think I will take my leave. Thanks for a delicious dinner as always Ms Harclaw." After saying that Jaime got up and left the kitchen.

"Mom, I think I should talk to her so I will be taking my leave as well." Linri then proceeded to get up as well.

He left the kitchen went upstairs and saw the figure of Jaime going into her room.

"Hey, wait! Is everything alright?" Linri had finally found the perfect situation to ask her the question that has been on his mind ever since they returned to London. He was not going to let her go without at least giving him some answers.
