It was evening. Linri was sitting in front of his computer, looking at its screen. He was wondering how should he go about talking to Hayato. He spent some time finalizing his thoughts. He also found this notion kind of funny. He was just like an unemployed person getting ready for an interview. It was also ironic since if he hadn"t come to this world that would be the exact kind of person he would be.

He opened his tor browser and typed in the words; galaxyguide.onion

The familiar window greeted him once more. He answered the question, the screen went black in other words all the usual stuff. The familiar chat box appeared in front of him once again however this time there was one little difference. Instead of greeting him Hayato was asking a question. Where is 6?

Linri took a deep breath. It was time to work his magic.

"Then you are interested in my offer I take it?"

There wasn"t any kind of response. The same question was asked again.

"Where is 6?"

It seemed like Hayato did not care about anything else and only wanted to find 6. Well, that was within the calculations but he couldn"t have Hayato go about it this way.

"I wouldn"t be hasty if I were you. Did you even check who I am? Ours is a strict business relations.h.i.+p I am the boss and you are the employee. Get it to your head"

He was slightly hesitant in writing those words but he had to show his dominance to Hayato otherwise with his personality Linri could imagine himself dying in a ditch somewhere.

"Who are you?"

Huh? That was an unexpected question. Linri was so dumbfounded that he did not even know how to react to it for a second. I mean wasn"t Hayato supposed to be one of the greatest hackers ever lived? It shouldn"t be hard for him to uncover who he was especially when he was using his own desktop instead of some random library computer.

"Linri Harclaw"

For now, it was better to gauge Hayato"s reaction. Right now this talk was going in an unknown direction so in order to recreate a new destination he had to find what Hayato knows.

"Don"t you f.u.c.king bulls.h.i.+t me! I checked Linri Harclaw"s background and traced it for 5 generations. There is not any kind of indication of him belonging to our side of the world. In conclusion, you cannot be him. I am not gonna ask again WHO ARE YOU"

Last part was written in caps guess he must be pretty p.i.s.sed right about now. Still, this made Linri confused more than surprised. I mean he was Linri Harclaw there was no mistake there. Meaning it was their past that was fabricated. If it was fabricated who could have done it? Arkady? No way! He knew Arkady"s background like the back of his hand so there was no way that Arkady knew some kind of great forger that could even trick Hayato. It could only be his mother Lyra.

However, arriving at this conclusion did not help Linri in the slightest. It only created more questions to be answered. Firstly, she knew Richard, the princ.i.p.al of Autumnfall. Secondly, she knew a great forger that could trick the greatest hacker of our generation. He was regretting. Linri was regretting that he created the simple Arkady instead of creating Lyra. If he did he would not be this helpless right now.

"..."

Hayato was getting impatient but there was nothing he could do about it. How was he going to explain he was himself. It was like Klark Cent saying I am saying "I am Hyperman" It was a true statement but one that no one would believe.

"I am Linri Harclaw. Can"t you figure the rest?"

For now, it was better to challenge his pride. This way he could at least gain some time to think and if he could make Hayato believe it was him that was incompetent (which was true by the way) then he would have an easier time.

Fifteen minutes later another message came in

"You are a ghost"

Linri did not know what he meant by a ghost but he was not gonna let this chance slide.

"Go on"

Maybe it was better to act like he actually did not know the terminology but he had already sent the message so he had to act like he knew what he was talking about.

"I just checked your camera and your image fits the data. I also ran a lie detection program to read your facial expressions along with your pupils. There is not any sort of lie in what you are saying. I checked your phone records and personal files in your desktop. There is not any sort of indication that you are taking orders from someone else. I also further proved this hypothesis by hacking into your city network and checking the security feed. According to my search, there was not any sort of unnatural content in your daily activities for the last week. Also from your personal files, I could find your family photos showing the time frame of your growth. I checked their authenticity and there was not any indication of photoshop. That only points out to the conclusion that you are Linri Harclaw but at the same time you can not be. Because Linri Harclaw did not have any way to access the information about 6 or me. So you are a ghost. Also, next time you are selling information don"t do it from a social network website, it"s highly unprofessional."

Linri was impressed by the giant wall of text he received. He could almost feel the frustration and anger of Hayato. He was also kind of ashamed about how he pointed out his dealings with Silfy. He had to admit that he was kind of unprofessional if he wanted to continue acting as an info broker.

"You are looking at it from the wrong angle. No wonder you couldn"t get the whiff of 6"s where about all this time. Let me give you a hint. I am Linri Harclaw but anything that"s not about me is a lie. I thought that surname would give it away by now."

Oh boy, he kept pus.h.i.+ng Hayato"s b.u.t.tons. He hoped that he would not be antagonizing him anymore but the dude kept thinking he was the best. Shouldn"t he get the hint by now that the past of his parents was fabricated? His surname was even the same with that of the Frost Wolves Mercenary"s clan leader. A dead give away but the dude did not even entertain the possibility.
