Bin sat between two police officers, his hand handcuffed and his body extremely exhausted. He felt dizzy and pain from chest and thighs, where Bert"s magic had hit him. No bones were broken, fortunately, but he was as resistant as Melissa"s people and the more he"s subjected to Magic, the worse his conditions become."Why did the police appear? Was it Ann? No, I don"t think so. Then who was it…"
Bert definitely wouldn"t call the police when his target is on sight, moreover, he wouldn"t want the crystal to fall in the authorities" hands. Ann and Scarlett wouldn"t do that either, which leaves no suspect to Bin. After wracking his brains, he thought of someone who made him clench his hands.
"Hayden!"
He was a congressman and with can do this much with a simple call, however, how did he know of his whereabouts so fast. The police would take at least five minutes to arrive yet, from beginning to end, he was there for a bit less ten minutes, which means that Hayden informed the police only a minute or so after Bin made his appearance.

In Melissa"s Villa, the secretary picked the phone and distanced himself from the absent-minded girl before picking up the call.
As he heard his men"s report of what happened, the secretary frowned and glanced at his boss before saying:
"I understand. Go back for now and cover all of your tracks."
Just as he hung up, he found Melissa looking at him.
"What happened?"
"The other party had strong magic-users so they weren"t able to finish them all. They retreated after a tough battle."
The secretary actually lied to Melissa, who tapped her finger on the table while listening to him. Ever since she became mature enough to take important decisions, Park Chung-Hee always followed her orders, letter by letter but he was skeptical about Bin and wasn"t sure that roping him in their ranks is beneficial, especially after hearing the report. The magic users were beyond the capabilities of Melissa"s people and if he becomes her servant, she would be endangered too, which is something the secretary couldn"t risk. After all, she"s an important a.s.set and if things go the right path, she"ll inherit her father"s company.
He didn"t tell her about Bin, who was just captured about the police. Park Chung-Hee was well aware that the congressman is also after Bin so, given enough time, Bin will surely die by the hands of the magic users or Hayden, he just has to lie to Melissa until that point.
"Tell Bin to come here."
As he heard that, the secretary replied: "He was injured and needs to recuperate. I"ll tell him to come tomorrow."
"What of the magic users? Did they see our men"s faces?"
"No, but their target was only Bin so I doubt they"ll bother investigating us."

A middle-aged detective with a beard and bushy hair banged his fist on the table while glaring at the silent Bin.
"Why were you there? Why did you kill all of those people? Who are they?!"
The detective asked one question after the other but the youngster used his right to maintain silence. The detective might appear scary but he wasn"t allowed to touch him, which was something Bin knew, moreover, if blurts something important, it may cause more problems later.
Furthermore, it shouldn"t take long for the perpetrators to show themselves. He was stripped of his gun and hidden knives but, at least, he managed to hide the minuscule red crystal deep inside pants. Sooner or later, they"ll find it but before that happens, he needs to escape. The police will discover his ident.i.ty very soon but Bert will surely cover everything as he doesn"t want this to become public.
The detective sighed, chugged down his cup of coffee, and was about to continue only for his superior to call him.
Bin was left alone in the questioning room but the person he was expecting did show up. A man dressed luxuriously and bandages in his face and neck entered the room and sat opposite of Bin. He appeared very calm as he gazed back at the black-haired youngster while flashing a triumphant smile.
Hayden pulled a few strings in order to come here and privately talk with Bin. The cameras and recorders were turned off and the detectives related to this incident were ordered to keep away for a while.
"I finally get to meet you again, you little b.a.s.t.a.r.d!"
Unfortunately, Hayden wasn"t able to keep his calm for much longer. He angrily shouted at Bin, his fists clenching into a ball as he barely contained himself for punching the youngster.
"Little b.a.s.t.a.r.d? Look who"s talking!"
Bin scoffed at the man, he grinned, appearing unperturbed by his current dire situation.
"I wonder what I should call you? Child abuser? Pervert? Or perhaps a twisted, lecherous sorry piece of s.h.i.t who doesn"t qualify to be human, much less a father."
"What did you say!"
Hayden got up and violently swung his fist at Bin, whose hands were handcuffed and bound to the metal table. The punch landed right on his face, causing blood to leak out of his nose and lips but the grin never left his face. Bin spat some blood mixed with saliva before turning to face the enraged Hayden.
"My bad, did I hurt your feelings? I was just stating the truth though. I wonder how the press would react if the truth comes out."
By saying that, he only made Hayden punch him two more times, turning the youngster"s face b.l.o.o.d.y. The congressman didn"t even hold back his punches and didn"t care about the consequences, which can be negated using his status as a distinguished politician.
"I cannot help but find your anger unwarranted. It shouldn"t be you who"s angry but your daughter, Rika. Do you even know who she is? Or is she simply a tool to satisfy your disgusting desires?"
Bin brazenly spat on Hayden"s face, who was close to his. In retaliation, the man kicked the boy"s body repeatedly, showing no restraint whatsoever. As Bin"s hands were bound on the table, he ended up half kneeling in an awkward position, not even able to dodge the incoming kicks.
Only after he vented some of his anger did Hayden stop, breathing heavily as he snorted, his face red from the acc.u.mulated rage.
"You will not live to see another day! b.a.s.t.a.r.d!"
He took out his phone and left the room. Shortly after, two men who seemed to be personal bodyguards dragged Bin out of the police stations. The officers and detectives were confused but they didn"t anything, they simply watched as the youngster was thrown into an unregistered van.
