Life As A Servant

Chapter 119

"Where are you going?"

Jasmine turned around but found that Bin was standing of the manor, just next to the large gate.

"I"ve got something to take care, I won"t be late."

The girl nodded her head and left with Rika, who glanced at the absent-minded Bin before following her friend.

Actually, the reason Bin didn"t go in with them was because he saw a black-clothed silhouette a couple of hundred meters away. He coincidentally noticed it when he was inside the limo, and was sure that it must be one of the facility"s people. They did locate him fast but attacking Jasmine"s house will cause them a lot of problems so they"ll surely wait for a good opportunity.

This is why he remained here, to personally take care of these people and buy himself a bit of time. Bin was aware that he can"t run forever but he"s just one person and he"s sick too, he can"t possibly hunt down all the enemies. Even with Melissa"s help, it won"t be possible as the facility has many powerful magic-users, some even more frightening than the invisible woman.

The surroundings of Jasmine"s home is a quiet and beautiful forest, which isn"t frequently visited. This forest encompa.s.ses the whole district, which has more than one manor, and it"s reserved for the filthy rich families, like his master"s.

Anyway, Bin"s right hand was behind his back, holding the loaded handgun as he slowly walking toward the forest, his eyes wandering around. His body was giving off an uncomfortable but familiar reaction, that of when there"s a strong concentration of Mana close by.

Half a minute later, Bin pretended to be walking only to suddenly turn around and take out his gun, pointing at his left side. Unfortunately, before he could pull the trigger, a fast black shadow hit his hand and s.n.a.t.c.hed the gun. The stranger threw the gun then pushed Bin and pressed a knee on the servant"s chest.

A red dagger that reeked of blood was placed on Bin"s neck as the black figure gazed at him. When he had a good look on the attacker, Bin was momentarily shocked.

It was a girl with a mask covering half of her face, however, those eyes seemed oddly familiar to his own. Her long black hair fell on her shoulders and her eyes were cold as they focused on the young man she just "captured".

"Who are you?"

Bin tried wriggling his body but the girl applied more force while snorting.

"Are you Bin?"

"She"s not from the facility!"

Just by asking that, he immediately knew that she"s not with them but she"s still dangerous. As for Elise, she, more or less, confirmed Bin"s ident.i.ty and asked that just for a vocal confirmation, which she didn"t receive.

"No, you"ve got the wrong perso- argh!"

She hit his chest with her knee and snorted,

"Don"t think that I won"t kill you!"

Even after being subjected to such pain from a stranger, Bin didn"t relent.

"Then why haven"t you done so already?"

He suddenly moved his neck closer to the dagger, causing her to instinctively retract it and that is when he retaliated. He mustered all of his force to push her off of him, which kind of worked but he didn"t get to do anything as she mounted his back and grasped the back of his neck with her free hand.

"Stop resisting!"

"f.u.c.k you!"

Bin spat the dirt inside of his mouth while fiercely wriggling his body but it was futile, the girl"s strength was simply inhuman.

"I"m not going to hurt you so stop it!"

Elise snapped at him and angrily yelled but all she got in response was a vulgar retort.

"You already hurt me you dumba.s.s!"

"You…"

Elise barely controlled her anger and didn"t do anything rash. If he was not her real twin brother, she would have killed him the moment she attacked. Seeing no meaning in trying to talk to him in this position, Elise pocketed her dagger and stood up.

Bin turned his head and only stood up after making sure she was a distance away. Her chest and back were hurting and his lips were dirtied by some mud. He spat a couple more times before glaring at the black-haired girl.

She removed her mask, showing him her true face, which had many similarities to his.

"Who the h.e.l.l are you?"

Bin was truly shocked but he didn"t jump into conclusion and maintained a safe distance, big enough for him to flee in case she jumped at him again.

"You and I are from the same place… the facility."

Hearing this, he furrowed his brows and examined the girl"s attire, which wasn"t any different than the facility"s people, though the fact that she hasn"t killed him or knocked him unconscious prove, at least, that she"s not an enemy. However, it"s still best to remain cautious and not provoke her, though, unbeknownst to him, it"s too late to think like that.

"And? That"s not enough of a reason to come looking for me."

Elise didn"t talk, she looked around and added, "This is not a safe place to talk. Let"s go somewhere private."

Bin shook his head and said back, "Nah, I ain"t moving an inch. You"re suspicious and may be trying to lure me elsewhere to execute me!"

"Aaah…" Elise sighed and took out a stack of folded papers which she threw at him. Bin caught them and looked at her in total confusion.

"Those are proof of what I"m about to say." She briefly paused before resuming, "You and I are related. Twins, to be exact."

"I beg your pardon?"

"We"re siblings! Read the papers and you"ll see."

Bin unfolded the papers and read a bit, though he only understood half of what was said. There was blood and DNA test, both positive and at 99.9%. He spent some time thinking before saying,

"You could have forged this and intentionally appeared here to get close to me."

Elise snickered, crossed her arms, and retorted, "Oh really? I think my face is more than enough to explain everything."

Her words couldn"t be more true, the two really looked like twins. Of course, there are minor differences as she was a female but, from an outsider"s point of view, they had a striking resemblance, especially their noses, eyes, and the unusually pale skin which is akin to a corpse.
