Giving the man a nod as she shrugged her shoulders, the atmosphere around Elizabeth instantly turned serious. She already got permission to ravage the Academy"s field, so without further thought, a rush of Fire and Ice Magic gathered around her right palm. Without a word, a small blue light materialized an inch above her palm and as it grew in size and potency, those with the highest cultivation bases could begin to sense how horrifying the ma.s.s of energy truly was.The executive that had originally treated Elizabeth like some kind of delusional child was the first to react, as he had the highest cultivation base. With a seriousness that conveyed absolute urgency, he turned to face the Academy"s students and yelled, "Everyone, fall back!" His face was covered in sweat as the moments pa.s.sed, each second felt like an eternity with no one moving. "NOW!!!" He screamed, very clearly afraid of Elizabeth"s "Magic," and without another word, he chanted, "Seal the Heavens and Earth! Earthen Dome!"
Even as a proficient Mage, he felt that need to use an incantation to bolster his spell to the absolute best of his abilities. Consequently, a large twenty meter wide, three-meter tall, and meter thick wall of compressed Earth erected from the ground to shield everyone from what was certain to be a terrific blow.
"Mhmm… I guess this is my limit, for now~" Elizabeth"s disturbing smile became genuine at the sight of her improved Cold Flames. At just over three inches tall, the flame looked like it could have come from a blowtorch on very high heat, yet the energy contained within could probably rival the earliest atomic bombs.
With a look of antic.i.p.ation, Elizabeth coated her Cold Flames in a paper-thin film of her Neutral Magic and tossed it several hundred meters away. Watching on from behind his makeshift blast shield shelter, the executive that was tasked with evaluating Elizabeth"s strength as a Mage watched on in horror as the small blue flame moved through the air.
He had constructed the dome of earth with a gap just big enough for those brave enough to stay with him to see what would happen when Elizabeth"s attack collided. After a nerve-wracking seven seconds, it then happened faster than anyone aside from Elizabeth could react. A bright light several million lumens bright was birthed from the epicenter of the explosion and just as quickly as it formed, it died out as the field was razed and scorched.

BOOM!!! All the people in Tyre and even those beyond the walls of the city within a hundred kilometers of the center of the explosion could hear the blast, while those within a couple kilometers could feel the impact of the ensuing shockwave.
Even Elizabeth was caught off guard as the winds of the blast blew back her hair. Though she was close enough to die had she been a regular person, as a King Stage Mage, she wasn"t even scratched as the debris and piercing winds of the explosion impacted her body. "Che! If I knew this attack was this powerful, I wouldn"t have had to struggle so hard with that f.u.c.king Soliger!" True to her nature, as soon as she realized this point, she capitalized on the opportunity to curse. She quickly dismissed the curse, taking it back after realizing that using the attack underground would have probably destroyed most of the Mortal Grade treasures she picked up along with the Soliger"s body.
Taking a look up at the mushroom cloud and the many vortex rings that manifested as the cloud grew, Elizabeth was very satisfied. "Who"d have thought that within a month of cultivating, I would hold the power of f.u.c.king nukes!" Then as she let her mind wander with the topic in mind, she shuddered as she recalled that she held this power at a mere Level 25. "Yrre"s true Level is 79… With more than three times my current level… I"d believe she could blow up entire planets."
It took a couple of minutes for the dust of the explosion to settle, but within seconds of the blast rocking the very foundations of Tyre, Elizabeth could be seen walking away towards the earthen dome that had stayed relatively intact. Crossing over to the side where the executive from before was holding on to the receptionist of the Guild in a defensive posture, Elizabeth asked with infuriating levels of nonchalance, "So, do I need to complete any more tests, or can I have my Guild Card already?"
Looking at Elizabeth, then at the cataclysmic mushroom cloud that resulted from her "Spell," the man grew pale. He had to actively fight through the fear he had developed of her to say, "N-n-no, Th-there"s n-no ne-ed f-for any m-m-more t-t-t-tests."
"Mhmm… Well, are you guys hurt or something? I didn"t expect my power to have grown that much since the last time I used it…" She was speaking earnestly as anyone with even a remote sense of conscience would feel bad after accidentally nuking someone that wasn"t considered an enemy.
"N-no, I"m good." The man said with a fake smile, trying his best to not displease Elizabeth after realizing how comically overpowered she was. "Mage King?" He thought, "I"d believe it if she said she was a legendary cultivator…"
The woman under him also looked at Elizabeth in absolute shock and fear as she too said, "I"m also fine…"
"Well, alrighty then~" Happy to have finished the task at hand, Elizabeth said, "Let"s go back to the guild. I have some books I need to purchase~" Out of sheer happiness, she actually moved to prop the woman up; something she never would have thought she"d be capable of, just a month ago.
With the woman up and quick to return to the Guild, Elizabeth was soon walking out of the shattered field. However, as she recalled something important, she stopped. Turning around to face the man she had left in his little earthen dome, she said, "And about this academy…" Her words brought the man into a fight or flight mode.
"What would it cost to take some lessons?" She asked, bringing the man close to tears with how her words played with his emotions.
"Y-you have the strength of an SSS-Cla.s.s Mage… If for any reason you decided to study at our Academy, you"d just need to show your Guild Card and it wouldn"t cost even a single Copper…"
She waved him a farewell and then returned to walking back to the Guild with the receptionist. The plan to take a couple lessons and see if she could implement them in a curriculum for the people of Earth was already simmering at the back of her mind. Additionally, Elizabeth couldn"t deny the morbid part of herself that wanted to see the Mage"s lesson to learn more about the incantations and silly dances she had seen earlier; if not, then to laugh at the people as she had already done internally.
…
En route back to the Guild, Elizabeth came across dozens of students who had been present for her "display," and while most of them either looked at her with shock or fear, a small minority seemed to be full of worship when they made eye contact with her. She had also seen tons of relatively high-level Mages and Pract.i.tioners storm the site where her Cold Flames were released, but for some reason, no officials dared approach her after finding out that she was the source of that destruction.
Walking out of the Academy and back through the streets of Tyre, Elizabeth hid her face in embarra.s.sment as she could see windows that were previously normal now blown out… She had forgotten how fragile normal or non-pract.i.tioners were, as well as the materials they used to build. With Lisa heightening her sense of negativity, she felt a small amount of guilt. Eventually, they reached the Guild and after the receptionist made a few serious-sounding calls, Elizabeth finally received her Guild Card. The card was created out of some sort of Spiritual Platinum and almost read like one of her Status notes.
[Name: Elizabeth Ultimatia
Rank: SSS-Cla.s.s Mage (Supreme Mage of Destruction)
Affiliation: Ireal Empire, Ultera Guild (Tyre Branch)]
Reading the description of her as some sort of Destruction Mage made her face flush as she literally had no offensive Spells, but she wasn"t about to complain as the t.i.tle was to her liking. She finished reading the card, Elizabeth thanked the receptionist and bade her farewell as she kept the card in her hand and moved from the receptionist area of the Guild to the Exchange Hub.
To her surprise, before she could cross the short distance, a short man not even taller than a meter stopped her. "Ms. Ultimatia, if I could have just a word with you…" The dwarf spoke very formally and with a seriousness that bled from his words, yet he didn"t dare presume on Elizabeth"s temperament as the last thing the city needed was some sort of crazed demon ushering destruction.
"Mhmm? What"s up?" Elizabeth asked, practically suffocating from the formal tone the dwarf used when speaking to her.
Before speaking again, the dwarf bowed to express grat.i.tude. He then said, "I"d like to have a short conversation with you as to why such a high ranking Mage has deigned to step foot in our humble city. But I"m sure you value privacy, so we"ve already arranged a room…"
"There"s no need for that. It"s no secret, after all, I"m just exploring the area." Elizabeth looked at the dwarf wondering if he had some sort of scheme running behind all the fancy formality.
Taking the hint, the man bowed again before saying, "If that"s the case, then forgive my presumptuousness." He reached into his coat pocket and handed a card in Elizabeth"s direction before saying, "Should you ever find trouble in our humble city, you can use this card to show your connection to me, or seek me out in the Guild. I"m the Guild Master, Krok, by the way."
Suddenly Elizabeth felt as if she was being tested as the man didn"t just give her his card, but he bowed whilst holding his card with both hands; it made her feel like an Asian businessman with this etiquette being on display. She was absolutely sure that she was imagining the feelings, but muscle memory from the lessons her parents taught her, she moved automatically; unable to stop.
With the fluidity of an expert, Elizabeth returned a short bow herself before staring at the card the dwarf gave her almost as if she was surprised by its contents. Only after a whole three seconds of staring at the card did she move to store the card away. When she finally snapped out of the trance her face flushed with embarra.s.sment, "There wasn"t a need to do that…"
